You totally rocked the shorter dress Dory, your legs looked great in it. It is important to feel comfortable though and you looked lovely in the longer length too. Dee you look cute in your dress too. The tie shows off your waist.
Dory I have to say I love ❤️ the shorter version. The SHORTER version looked sophisticated and grown and a bit of glamorous coupled with chic.We are our worst critics. You have gorgeous legs.. Do they not do everything you need them to do?? My hubby n sons are athletes n their legs get better as they age. And I figured a long time ago to do whatever they were doing. I lift n my legs are great and STRONG. So don't be so hard on yourself. As you n Dee say ..sometimes you got to get out of your comfort zone 😊

I'm making a new cover with boxing and cording for my Papasan chair, and I'm adding fabric covered buttons.... and a zipper for easy removal for washing. I have the Papasan chair I bought from Walmart, and it's a great chair. I just wanted to be able to wash the cover, so I'm making a new one like the original one. I love both dresses. I always wonder why people don't measure their pattern pieces to get accurate lengths.... not speaking to just you all. I would get a person to help me measure from the top of my spine to the length I prefer my dresses to be at the back and then I would always know whether I need to adjust the length. Then whatever you had to change at the back you would also need to change on the front. Just an idea. Tell Nate I said HEY HEY ... I hope he is doing well. And such good news on your Husband Dee... I hope you had a nice time at the wedding.

Have you ever considered making up a Cashmerette pattern? A little pricey but she's a curvy lady drafting patterns for curvy bodies. Dee, I love your make. You made a smart choice when you bought that fabric. It's so cool looking and that pattern made up beautifully. Have fun with your makes this week. I would like to suggest a challenge for you. You both get together and make a summer outfit for Nate. You know: shorts, a Hawaiian style shirt and a matching hat for those sunny days.
