As someone looking at these shoes because I can only wear slip on shoes, I can’t bend my legs much because of arthritis so I can’t get socks on either. So, if not washable, I’m not interested because feet sweat.
I really like kiziks. I also have a dad bod and wear socks with my shoes unless they are sandals. If you do the same, you will love these. If you are a hipster, you won't...for obvious hipster reasons, which I find strange because they aren't really all that different from Allbirds in style, in my opinion. Allbirds are for cool people apparently. I digress; the niche selling point of kiziks is the slip on and slip off factor while still feeling like you have actually tied your shoes. Again, if you are just a normal dude who would like to slip on sneakers without the laces being loose as hell, try these.
Three years ago, just before my hip replacement, I bought a pair of black Kiziks. they were the best investment for shoes I’ve ever made. I love them so much. I bought a pair of brown shoes and wear them to this day. I’m getting ready to order sneakers next the prices are worth this shoe. Thanks for your video.
I have the Madrid shoes and they are made from recycled plastic bottles and I love them, and I just ordered the Vegas shoes I love Kizik shoes because I’m particularly paralyzed on my left side and I just had hip replacement surgery and it’s made putting my shoes on so much easier
I bought some Kiziks, and they slip on as advertised, and aren't bad looking. But for me, they weren't very comfortable to wear, no arch support whatsoever. I ended up sending them back.
I looove my kizik and yes they are washable! I don't like this style tho I like Lima and those you can toss in washer and comes out like new. Never buying other brands honestly

Would you be willing to wear the Kizik shoes ALL DAY, say at an amusement park or on a trip to Europe where you could easily spend 12+ hours in them walking & standing and get 20k+ steps? The other brand on your right foot doesn't look like it has much shock absorption. Looks incredibly flat, like tiring to me, esp in the heel.
maybe that's not the market they're chasing....i was thinking it'd be really great shoe for people with mobility issues that have difficulty bending and tying shoes on their own.. I don't think that standing for an 8 hour shift or going over 10 000 step is going to be an issue for that consumer...I think its more important to them that they can put them on independently and look presentable
But they still take more time to get in and out of than clogs such as Cros and Superbirkis. Plus they look unsuitable for persons with wide feet. Comments?
My partner and I both got a pair, we're both used to always asking for more arch support. These don't have the "incredible arch support" advertised so often. But I'm also going to say that they don't need it either. After buying these, I'm starting to think the concept of more and more arch support is a scam. My partner is on her feet 10+ hours a day non-stop, and LOVES her Kizik Cairos.
@@ShadowDrakken we used to walk around barefoot with zero arch support for tens of thousands of years. Then in the last 100 Nike says we need their arch support. Your foot IS an arch. It works like one too and by nature does not need to be supported as it is the structure that is the support itself.
Is there anything arch support or padding for walking? I bought shoe laces you don't have to tie, and I just slide my foot in, but I have to pull the tongue up. I had hip surgery, so I needed shoes I could just slide into.
I’d say they have moderate arch support and super padded for walking. Sounds like they’d be really good for your hip surgery. Hope you feel better soon!
I'd say they have moderate support too. I've had one surgery and they are very stable. Give them a few days because the soles warm up and mould to your feet and get way more comfortable!

That othe shoe used as a comparison at the end seems to be on loose. The Kiziks an ben lied to fit quite firmly where there is no foot wiggle inside if the shoe adn still maintain the ease of egress and ingress. Try tightening that other shoe enough to run in confidently, then remove and put it back on without using your hands.
Fun, helpful little tip. Some shoes just look better without a sock peeking out. And even some no-shows will peek out a little from some shoes. So, something I seen online somewhere and tried out for myself is: if the shoes have removable insoles, take them out and put your no-show socks on the insoles themselves. Put the insoles back in the shoes and, Voila! No peeking socks, and no stinky feet. Have a great day and you’re welcome😉

On the zeba shoes I can feel that mechanism and on the kiziks I can not. I do not know if one copied the other though and it could be that 2 companies came up with the same idea with out knowing anything about the other.
I fully appreciate that some people have conditions that prevent them from reaching down to put their shoe on but if you can tie your shoe you can put your shoe on and pull the heel up. For most people this is simply NOT a problem.

When I work to get the shoe on they fit well, in fact, they are slightly large. The problem is the opening is too tight for people with a high bridge, and you can’t really loosen these shoes up at the laces to accommodate this. The problem is that this shoe, that’s supposed to be easy to get on, is harder to get on than any of her other shoes.
Warning: These are not for runners or hiking, even light hiking. The fact of having no heel counter makes them bad to use on the day's use, not to mention the questionable injury/soreness you might feel the day after. Get Skechers or slippers. Should have checked if the shoes are still slip-on after taking the laces out. The company seems to emphasize the heel technology, but the front flap which the laces run through looks like it would easily scrunch up or get caught on your toe.
I JUST got mine today...and did a review on them on my channel. I also saw some said order a size larger (sz 14) so I did....and while they fit ok and snug.....they do run and look long. You can clearly see where my toe is.....I'd be curious how a sz 13 would fit me.
They run true to size based on _measured_ size ( www.healthyfeetstore.com/shoe-fitting-guide.html ). And you'll want to adjust the laces throughout the first day until they're comfortable. Once you get it right, they're really nice!
I bought a pair of Athens and Prague in my usual size, 8.5, the Athens were comfortable because of the stretchy knit material but the Prague was slightly snug but felt better after I adjusted the laces.
Cool concept. I placed an order but the shoes were too small by a half size. Wanted to exchange them but got hit with massive shipping fees. Don’t order from them if you’re not in the US. Their international returns are a scam.

I just received my Kizik sneakers and love the way they fit, feel and slip on. Too bad the colors are so horrid otherwise I would purchase several pairs.
There is only one good thing about my Kizyks, And that's that they are hands free. They have no side to side stability AT ALL! If you are walking around in your yard it's like walking on ice cubes they slip and slide all over the place. They are good for flat floors like at the airport. If you don't need them for that I would not buy them they are terribly expensive.

If that was the first time you wore them, then there is no way that the laces were the right tightness. You should have put them on normally (without going hands free) then tightened and tied the laces, THEN tried hands free. As it stands, there is no way for the viewer to know whether the heel design would actually help on a shoe that has been tightened enough not to come lose during strenuous activity like a run or a jog.

I bought some ASICS tennis shoes. A friend showed me how to tie the laces so that the shoes will just slip on.

I wash mine and they come out great. I air dry but wash with whatever towels need washing.

My boyfriend's right hand is amputated. And he was right handed. This would be perfect for him. Every morning I tie his shoes and zip-up his coat.
