I saw leaks about a Titanfall Battle-royal LTM. I was hoping that it was true, but idk anymore as nothing was stated in the patch notes and I saw other “leakers” dismissing the mode saying it wasn’t a thing. I hope it’s true, the other stuff is pretty cool though.
@@Jasyeieje I like the OG game mode but it feels lack luster overall. Mostly just an overpowered rework of lifeline and the support class. I haven’t played a lot this year since this season but Apex seasons used to feel more hype with new characters and their backstories. I will enjoy but definitely not worth the battle pass.
Jesus, trying to 1v3 or 2v3 a team with a lifeline and Newcastle combo was already so frustrating. It felt like u had to outplay the same team 5 times before wiping them. Now it’s going to just be impossible

I heard nothing about server issues, meaningful matchmaking adjustments, ranked rewards or cheating issue progress 🤦♂️ literally nothing else matters without these core changes & i imagine the game will be just as mentally taxing to play, sucks man.
Respawn wants new players but when I try introducing my friend to apex, we instantly get placed in sweat lobbies and my friend cant learn.. I guess devs think sbmm is better for retaining players generally than our specific situation
Send your friend routing guides movement guides and setting guides practice 1v1ing in firing range. Also, playing better players actually helps you learn faster. You just gotta keep pushing. This game is one of the hardest games with tons of nuance. It does require tons of resilience if u can stand the heat long enough than eventually you will become the heat.

If they are going to give op perks like this they also need to create a system where you have a roll lock. Meaning only 1 character from each role per team. Lifeline and Newcastle together were already broken. Now you are going to see triple support teams everywhere.
Those support buffs are crazy. Great way for new players to dip their toes into the game, but I bet a lot of those buffs are going to get pulled back. And the Newcastle buffs are insane as well. They're going to nerf my boy into the ground after this

As a Conduit/ Loba main I am very happy with the support class buffs. I love being able to help my team but I always felt I needed something more. This is more than enough, now I can help my team even more!
Your rant is a bit off. You're correct that new players getting dunked on is driving them away, but it's not lack of content driving this. It is simply the matchmaking. The current (dogshit) system prioritises faster games over fair matches. This drives new players away, reducing the player pool, giving even fewer players to choose from, making the matches even worse, and so you have a vicious cycle. Many games out there get fewer updates than Apex but maintain a high and stable player base because the core experience is still fun, and absolutely INTEGRAL to the core experience being fun, is not getting absolutely fucking curb stomped every other game (or the opposite for that matter).
I usually only get to play between 7-9, and unfortunately, that's when all the sweats are on... I spent 2 hours last night getting destroyed.. dying on drop most times and sometimes never even seeing my killer.. ik ik i need to get better.

I play once a week with my buddy (both working like crazy), yet we get matched with full controller lobbies, 10000+ killson main, 4000dmg, 20 kills/solo, masters 3 times or preds, and each 2 hour session we find a guy with a 300$ bastard sword. These players live in this game, why do I get matched vs them? There is no mmr decay in apex, I was good like 1.5 years ago

This is just bad for the game. Lifeline is SOOOO suppressive right now, it's just straight up not fun to play against. Every fight has 5 or 6 nearly automatic revives. What's worse is that this is going to train people to thirst kills more than ever. So if they ever want to role back the change, be prepared for an ungodly amount of unnecessary thirsting. Respawn is crashing and burning. Instead of making the game better, they're choosing to appeal to the lowest common denominator.
I absolutely hated the Trick or Treat event this year BECAUSE they combined with the Revival Mode. Trick or Treat in 2023 was so much fun because it was regular Trios and you got to play it on King's Canyon. But this year they restricted it to E-District and made it Revival Mode AND the matchmaking is awful. That was probably the most disappointed I've ever been in an Apex LTM.

Probably the strongest comp but honestly any combo of any 3 support characters is going to be tough to beat in a fight. Double heals, movement while healing, better revive speed and additional revive HP is 4 very strong passives for an entire class. I wouldn’t be surprised if the combined pick rate for the entire support class is over 50%
Support class is definitely gonna be broken but honestly I’m all for it. Playing and watching others play, I didn’t see a lot of support legend picks that weren’t lifeline, conduit, or Newcastle. I kind of agree with Respawn to an extent, Lifeline’s care package is a bit useless now, the only beneficial thing from it is the batteries, least to my knowledge. This support buffing is gonna be chaotic, but considering how lackluster most support legends have been, I’d say broken or not it’s definitely needed to bring most of them back into the limelight. I’m excited for the Gibby buffs cause he was my first legend I played in Apex. I’m gonna wait until I play a few matches of the season before I actually say if I love it or hate it.

Honestly I feel that this update was needed, the change in the way that the game is going to be played because of the balance changes is exciting to me. I'd also argue that the akimbo version of the mozam and p20 have satiated a need for a new weapon at least for the next few months. Finally, the implementation of new characters is going to be more difficult with time and will probably have less fleshed out characters with abilities extremely similar to other characters already in the game. I like the amount of legends we have, I'm not sure more are needed, it'll make it less beginner friendly as well, so I guess that's a pick your poison issue.
Only issue was diamond lobbies. Unless you 3 stacked it felt insane to get to Masters and beyond doing it solo. Not to mention the 3 stack preds filled in those lobbies. If I got a 2 stack pred it was an easy W or huge RP boost lol
Use spitfire, alternator and R301. All use light ammo and light ammo is the easiest to find in abundance. If u feel your aim is good then try heavy ammo weapons such as a Flatline which is a bit harder to control but rewarding due to higher damage per shot. Note : right now there is a special OG mode going on so some of what i said will have variations such as the spitfire using heavy ammo.
I like the peace keeper and Eva 8 for shot guns. And the rampage is fun too! But light ammo guns are good for carrying more ammo/ being assault character too!
So is pub trios and duos just gone? Only the launch royale is popping up and what’s the point of all these updates if casual players can’t take advantage of them unless they play ranked?
Last season it was only revival for a couple days before they brought back trios and duos. They just want players to try the new mode before pubs comes back and it becomes empty. Otherwise it would be dead for the players who want to play OG launch royale
I want apex to be popular so bad. But I feel like the reason I don’t play anymore is because I don’t feel like there is any hype. Nobody talks about it or gets excited about it anymore. The fundamentals are still awsome but there is nothing drawing ppl back.

For anyone complaining they’re just doing this to try to bring players back or the hype will be gone after a couple days, etc… You just don’t understand how wrong you are. So many reasons why people don’t like the game now is because all the dumb changes they’ve made. Yes I know the big issues with monetization, cheaters, etc. But I’m talking about gameplay mechanics, weapons, attachments, loot, armor etc. All the changes to that is what so many people don’t like and to go back and play the original when it was good is gonna be enough and be awesome as hell. Nothing was said about the maps during my presentation. However in the patch notes we can see its Storm Point, Broken Moon, and Worlds Edge for the map rotation

For anyone complaining they’re just doing this to try to bring players back or the hype will be gone after a couple days, etc… You just don’t understand how wrong you are. So many reasons why people don’t like the game now is because all the dumb changes they’ve made. Yes I know the big issues with monetization, cheaters, etc. But I’m talking about gameplay mechanics, weapons, attachments, loot, armor etc. All the changes to that is what so many people don’t like and to go back and play the original when it was good is gonna be enough and be awesome as hell. It would be enough to bring players back for a long time because people are leaving because the game isn’t like it used to be so going back to it when it was good and the old days is gonna be awesome as hell and make people start playing again.

Nothing was said about the maps during my presentation. However in the patch notes we can see its Storm Point, Broken Moon, and Worlds Edge for the map rotation

I’m sorry but lifeline getting buffs to me is crazy… her healing ability needs a nurf… the fact she can revive two downs at once and bring them back with half HP and shield while being able to shoot is wild
