If you dont have strand or struggle with the rocket technique, use a checkpoint bot for the final boss and backtrack, you'll end up at the second chest.
@@IamXozGaz if you head on over to d2checkpoint, you'll find these bots are that there to hold checkpoints so that you can join -> save the checkpoint on your own character -> leave that checkpoint bots' game then launch your own game with the new checkpoint there are bots for different encounters (for example, Garden of Salvation final boss, featured weekly dungeons' boss encounters etc etc)

Tips for all 3 classes. Hunter: Shatterskate for the first part and you'll get the first easy. Titan: lion ramparts and eager edge sword fly to first chest and it's easy. Warlock: heat rises eager edge and icarus dodge to first area and it's easy. Second chest. The wall climb? Nah. Strand and dragonsbreath. DB has a larger rocket model and is easier to grab with grapple. Ride it up on all 3 characters. Use mountaintop and run across the ground, shoot at floor and jump to avoid death zone. I didn't know about the Salvation's Grip trick, you used to be able to just blow yourself up in the half pipe once the loading zone had changed, and it would automatically move your spawn point underground. As that wasn't working, I found a way to go under the map and up through the pipe you're supposed to drop down (S'Grip looks sooo much easier though)

As I said in the comment, if you can't get dying and respawning to work, you can go to the edge of the half pipe, jump off, and use Lion Ramparts, Eager Edge or Strand Grapples to get under the map, and up through the vertical pipe you're supposed to drop down to enter the next area, should you be playing the Raid as it was intended to be played. Once you've got to the top of the vertical pipe if you look back down, the area should have loaded in behind you and you can continue as normal
Ok, this still works. I had trouble getting towards the second chest, jumping above the kill barrier, but Alethonym is your friend here. Just make sure you spend as much time as you can above it to get the timer down. If you can't, then just use a checkpoint for the second.
@ since my last post I’ve tried a sword swipe at that point and eventually I got it to work. Unfortunately I then get to the blow yourself up point but have no ammo left after switching to GL ! Suppose I just need to get lucky at that ledge next time but tbh don’t think I’ll bother as I doubt any of the weapons are better than what I already have
You just gotta go really high up on the other side where u make the big jump and it may take a few try’s but I did it on all classes and my warlock had no leg r or for the extra mobility you just gotta keep trying and you’ll get it eventually

the GoS hidden chests can now give you any item, including ones which you haven't unlocked. i tested this with an alt account which has shadowkeep but has never done any raids.
You do not have to have run any encounters in the raid before to get loot, I did this earlier without having any encounter completions and was able to get both weapons and armor like the last wish chest.
you'll get weapons and armour even if you haven't unlocked them, you can get spoils from secret chests from vault of glass, root of nightmares, and vow
I've never run Garden and just did solo secret chests using a checkpoint bot. It gives weapons and even red borders that you haven't unlocked. I got one red border sniper and two non-redborder snipers plus an auto rifle. Sorry, I don't remember the names. I did get armor, but it wasn't anything I would keep.
Do these tricks still work if you have weapons from the old version of the raid? Or do they only drop if you do the raid again and get the reprised version drops?
these chests also drop armor that you haven't acquired yet. I was missing the helmet on my hunter and somehow ended up getting it through the second secret chest

Also having this issue yes, spent 20mins trying to find a way through atm. My current best guess is this videos footage was filmed before the weekly update and perhaps it has since been patched.
In the video it looks easy but its kinda hard to get through, Its definitely possible though(gotta jump while sprinting and not too high). if you're heaving trouble I would try something like icarus dash or a sword preferably with eager edge but ergo sum shoul'd work too so you can keep your heavy for the rocket grapling.

theres multiple gaps in the wall allowing u to gl jump into them and then continuing upwards would recommend doing this on hunter, warlock is possible but idk ab titan

still possible just did it on all 3 classes, at the wall go all the way left to barrier, jump down right before the barrier disappears grapple up over the kill wall through the crevice , go under the map to the end of it jump down to some leaves, grapple back up the pit the game loads the undergrowth

For KBM: You want to press your grapple while you're pressing your rocket. If you do it at the same time grapple comes first though, so you just have to give a slight head start on left mouse click. Basically you press your Q before you feel resistance from hitting left mouse key all the way. Works every time, hope that helps.
*patched bypass working 11/11, but lil difficult but was able to bypass the first wall, go all the way left, jump down by flying under the barrier and grappling up above the kill wall, going to end up under the map, walk to the end of the crevice some leaves jump on them and jump up the pit resets the raid loads the undergrowth
You're going to have a lot of the mainstream audience struggling with these skips with the methods shown. They're outdated and not refined for the casual audience. There are better alternatives.

Can't get the respawn underground to happen as it spawns me back on the cliff And i ended up running out of salvations grip and landed in the oob pit.. Guess ill just wait for garden to be farmable again..
You have to die the second you see the load otherwise you will miss it have to hit the previous cp which you can do by eager edging back towards 1st encounter. You can get the chest in under 40 seconds will shatter or well skating.
Last Wish and Garden of Salvation are the only two raids where you can get weapons and armor from secret chests even if you've never obtained them properly from encounters before.
I did it on all 3 characters, I will say warlock is the toughest, only for the jumping above the turn back part. But I used mountaintop and an eager edge sword to get by faster

YEP I reported this yesterday right at reset on Lucky10p channel yesterday I got pulse rifle red border and have never done full raid before only 1 encounter that have me a shotgun and that's why I did it yesterday to get another shotgun roll and boy I'm glad I did

Only encounters are dropping new perks + red borders. Cheese on 3rd encounter for challenge loot and boss freeze still exist. Buggiest raid ever.
Bungie needs to make this game more Solo player friendly. I hope now that Sony is stepping in this will happen. From what I’ve heard next year things are going in that direction 🤞

You could also get a boss checkpoint from the destiny checkpoint bots and back track, side note backtracking also works for divinity puzzles
For getting through the wall at 2:22, use mountaintop and spam rocket jump facing away from the invisible wall with your back up against it

Winterbite is an easy why to scale the wall as well since it moves slow but just fast enough that you don’t reach it

They can be the old versions as long as you have it unlocked it can spawn the newer version on the chest

if anybody still has Royal Entry rocket launcher it only has 31 velocity making the grapple super easy

Its easy, look the video you need to take couple steps back and the jump, you need some speed to pass the invis wall

I did find a low velocity rocket to be pretty reliable tho to do it the way he did

I'd just keep trying, I grappled with my hunter and gjally, just grapple straight away, may take a few tries 👍

Doesn't work for me anymore. I've been doing this glitch for a while. The undergrowth text doesn't pop up and I spawn back in right where I died

Invisible wall won’t let you off yourself with salvations grip.
And what happens if you run off rocket rounds,,??? There's no remedy for that and the game doesn't replenish your ammo
