Yep this is my 6th consecutive listen to this song. Every album is so different and so beautiful. I read somewhere that Alt J created their own musical language. I knew that was true after the first album and they keep rewriting that language over and over.
Alt-J absolutely transformed how I feel about music several years ago. I have a triangle tattoo behind my ear in honor. Love them more than I can explain! Most definitely will cry when I see them in concert next month.
I have a delta tattoo on my ribs! This track is so good, but I think Bane might be my favourite so far

You’ve released yet another beautiful song, alt-J, and it’s clear this album is going to be nothing short of incredible.
Every. Single. Song. A story told, a story gained, a perspective untold until sung; Alt-J deserves far more followers but their fans are loyal as the day is long. And then some. Every song makes you feeeeeel. Even when you can’t catch all the lyrics the first few listens. And the videos? Get Better brings me to tears every time I watch it; even my 12 yr old said, “dang, Alt-J! You’re making cry!” 😂 I love how much my husband and 5 children love music. Lyrics. Stories. Feeling something through it all in a way that words can’t describe. Music is nothing short of a gift from God. There’s a reason it holds so much power.

@@rosalindnaccarato8723 yeah I remember a boy I met at one of the first uni parties I went to.. He used to disappear and then suddenly come back again at every uni party. Suddenly, after some months of no texting he was like 'yo do you know alt-J tho?'... I hated him that moment but I'll love him forever for showing me this band 😅 I remember thinking about the 'should've been on that last bus home but I asked you for a dance' line from the song 'dancing in the moonlight' cause I was the one that spontaneously asked him for a dance that first night we had. Luckily, I got the last bus, but it always felt like it wasn't because he came back again and again😅 oh teenage feelings 😂💔
