I’m just going to say it there are a ton a “try-on,” “yoga,” “ride/walk-alongs,” and “model walk” videos. The latter two can be fairly tame but the first two are very questionable. Asmr is more like the latter where there are questionable videos but are outweighed by the tame ones by a good margin. UA-cam gotta get their priorities straight
Happy Birthday, Henya! I hope that she makes an efficient recovery and feels better. As for UA-cam and Twitch, they really need to stop wrongfully targeting VTubers and ASMR content. We need to also acknowledge and bring more attention to the fact that, unless I'm mistaken, Immy's channel was taken down after 2 strikes and not 3. I wish that age-restricted content was only available to users logged into their accounts. Additionally, UA-cam should change their policy so that just because a video, stream, or channel gets age-restricted, that it doesn't mean that it's by default demonetized. If the people working out UA-cam and Twitch targeting VTubers(whether that be directly or via bot reviews and/or the algorithm) are puritanical in nature and/or giving preferential treatment to certain irl streamers & content creators, they need to be fired and replaced. Granted, there's a lot of the TOS and such that needs to change about UA-cam and Twitch. That, and all of this is idealistic rather than realistic, but still. Things needs to change. Where are VTubers, ASMR content creators, and the like supposed to go if UA-cam and Twitch fail? I'd like to state for the record that I don't watch(technically listen) to ASMR content. I just think that what's happening to them isn't fair. Does anyone know if UA-cam has also been targeting channels who post 1-12 hour-long, non-anime, non-VTuber ASMR videos that just play the sounds of rain, storms, forests, the beach, and other sounds found in nature that could never be misconstrued as suggestive or inappropriate to younger listeners? It would be good to learn if UA-cam is going after all ASMR content or just certain accounts.

I'm just waiting for youtube to finally do enough damage to themselves the board starts wondering why the earnings have plummeted Edit It's almost as if Niji is getting Karma's mean left hock for something they did...
I dont think people understand just how massive UA-cam is in just pure infrastructure and data centers all across the world to even support this kind of on-demand video service. In reality, pretty much no one can really challenge UA-cam's position, not Microsoft, Amazon or Apple and if they did, they'd be pretty much the same if not worst in terms of content moderation.
@@cn8299 That's the unfortunate state of it. As much fun as it is to be on the Niji hate train, my actual hope is that there is a major structural shake up that leads to a better company. That, unfortunately, does not look likely.
japanese company are pretty slow to accept changes especially when it involved outside critic/non japanese critics. bandai and bandai namco are 1 of the example
The only structural change that they would do is to put all the EN streamers under the JP management. Last time they did that it completely killed KR and ID. JP management also isn't any better so it wouldn't help the talent.
My actual hope is that we see like 20 EN graduations tommorow, and the 10-15 members who actually want to stay in Niji, can just be "merged" into the main branch. Nijisanji has not changed since conception. Their practices became known to the EN audience after the wrongful termination of Zaion, but Nijisanji's problems predate Zaion. Until the JP fans start holding them accountable, Anycolor has no motivation to change, and if I know JP culture as well as I think I do, Anycolor will not be changing any time soon.
I still remember the moment YT struck Oumiya Emma's recent ASMR 3DIO stream for being too "seggs" where in reality it was just towel rubbing noise. Emma tried to appeal only to be answered with their "auto reply" and YT just went "welp ur stream is still lewd, we took it down"
Henya's birthday was silent but not as lonely as you might think. A lot of us were celebrating with Henya in her Twitch chat. Got an offline hype train going too.

Seeing Nijisanji falling more and more into the hell just put a smile on our face. Hope the innocents like Vivi Scarle can get out before it's too late

I am surprised that more Vtubers don't migrate to say, Spotify, where a good chunk of ASMRists are backing up their content to. Given the amount of ad bollocks that UA-cam & Twitch want to push onto people without adblocks, switching to an alternative podcast platform that mitigates that for better listening experiences (for paid subscribers) seems a better option.
Why is youtube calling ASMR sexual content now? Who is it sexual to? I don't watch these two but my god UA-cam you're CLEARLY targetting vtubers for BS reasons, there's plenty of ASMR channels that DO sexual stuff, dress up in raunchy cosplays, lick phallic objects near the mic and etc, THOSE DONT GET HIT, but vtubers do. Absolute insanity.
"We're sorry this happened" no. No no no no no. Stop sorrying your way out of every single mistake you make, UA-cam. People lose revenue when you strike them and take down their content. You should be penalized and forced to reimburse them. Hopefully this happens soon seeing as some youtubers are starting to involve lawyers. This cannot keep going on.
I swear, UA-cam's content review system is basically a turbo virgin that strikes anything that MIGHT make its theoretical pp hard, and unfortunately it's found out it has a thing for anime girls. UA-cam COULD fix their system, or heaven forbid hire some actual human reviewers, but that takes effort/money, and as we all know UA-cam is a small indie company with few resources to spend on improving their site in a meaningful way.
4:22 The responses to these kinds of posts are so weird to me. The entire point of having two graphs for this kind of thing, and breaking stuff into sub-categories is just to say "hey look at these 10 people!" The whole reason that vtubers aren't on that graph is BECAUSE vtubers are so popular, and they have their own graph.
I think it might be a question of Vtubers often not being taken as seriously or feeling like the separation into a separate group is arbitrary in the first place. I guess if the cathegory is "female streamers", why separate it between Vtubers and non-Vtubers in the first place? What are you saying by creating those two different cathegories? Now, I don't really know the deal behind the organization who made the charts- maybe it's a marketing thing, maybe they think that it will be useful for them to know "these are the influencers using their real world faces, if you want to advertize products like makeup or stuff that sells well if it's shown on human bodies etc these are the ones you want (Manscaped ads comes to mind...), and these are the virtual youtubers who might be better at advertizing stuff like video games or other more 'digital' experiences. I don't know either way. But if it's JUST meant to show off "what female streamers draw the highest numbers", then separating into vtubers and fleshtubers feels like it's a very arbitrary distinction that serves no real purpose.
@@goranisacson2502 I just mean to say that some of the responses just go in a really weird women-hating direction. I.e. people posting the shondo clip. It just feels like people decided to be pro-vtuber by being anti-women and lost their way because this graph was trying to recognize female streamers who weren't vtubers, but didn't get labeled that. It's just a weird response to see "huh they didn't put any vtubers on the list" and to respond with "women who wear makeup are whores". It's definitely an interesting decision to separate the lists, but maybe twitter users could ask themselves why they made that decision instead of immediately being antagonistic against the face cam streamers featured in the graph.
You can tell Nijisanji is falling off when they had a major segment here and yet a large majority of the top comments are about Kanna or just youtube in general being shitty
Can't believe Immy got terminated over having gummy worms on her mic. YT rules and system are a joke at this point. You can copyright claim any channel without proof forcing the other person to send confidential data to YT or loose their channel, and you better make sure to not sneeze in a strange way or you bet your channel will be terminated. I really hope YT either gets their system in order once and for all or that someone makes a similar alternative that doesn't have all of these issues. (I know there are similar sites, but they're not as global or well known)
This is feeding into my confirmation bias for the worry I felt when VAllure was announced. I dabble in both communities, but have a slightly stronger stake in ASMR than Vtubing, & things aren't looking the best. I know Vtubers have it bad, but the ASMR creators have been hounded by YT for few years, and they've only been doubling down lately. DudeTL starting her own ASMR VTubing company was massive on its own. Making it adult oriented should've been the blessing that both communities have been waiting for. But to me, the presence of VAllure on this site feels like the perfect excuse for UA-cam to start to point fingers & collect evidence to find reasons to ban both kinds of content. I have nothing against the hard workers at VAllure or their content, but I worry that smaller creators with little support may get caught up in the ban fever.
Anycolor need to become more open, change their CEO and policy with their Vtubers and stay more open to fans, maybe like this they have a small chance to return fans back or get new ones

This is similar to what happened to the femboi VTuber, Taiga, when they got deleted right after 100k & obtaining a silver play button. This is definitely a personal vendetta that's going on here & I will not stand for it 😤
Are they that afraid that VTubers so much that they have to separate them from female streamers' list? People can still see the numbers though, so good luck with that failed attempt
UA-cam needs to catch a Kurosanji and take a "Negligible" hit to their stocks. This is getting out of hand. 😠
Issue here is lack of competition. Name a another big video site that offers monetization and can offer creators the ability to show content to a comparable number of viewers. And isn’t also hosting nsfw content.
Casual vtuber fans can boycott nijisanji because there are other corporate vtubers and indie vtubers out there. Only the ones who are specifically fans of the Niji talent really care to stay with them.
@@Jm0417-s agreed. Problem is whenever a competitor tries to step up, they tend to get radicalized very fast because the first adopters tend to be the people UA-cam banned (and for good reason). This leads the platform to either just stick to being radicalized, or try to clean themselves up and become UA-cam But Less Popular.
@@Jm0417-spornhub. Unironically
Pornhub is one of the top 3 sites that could take over the UA-cam space should UA-cam go down
Twitch: "We banned your channel and we won't tell you why."
UA-cam: "We banned your channel because our AI robot say so. You're also talking to our AI right now by the way."
Poor shondo again
You probably aren't talking to an AI. Just a person claiming to be an AI as an excuse to justify incompetence and hatred.
Lmfao, UA-cam legit has straight up porn for ads, but content creators can't even do basic ASMR shit looool??? L UA-cam.
Right, and don't click on them either. Sometimes I click on them by accident, and my AdBlock tells me that the sites are sus and blocks them.
I've also seen full nudity content and straight up animal cruelty content, but those aren't getting banned because they're labeled as "educational" content. Wild.
You've seen porn for ads?! I've watched a huge amount of UA-cam going back many years and the most risque thing I've ever seen in a UA-cam ad is someone trying to sell me a ball-hair trimmer (which did not feature any images of balls or actual shaving, haha).
@@StochasticUniverse But...without picture...did it even happen? How can you be sure the ballhair trimmer you order will actually trim your ballhair accurately and not accidently trims it all??? 🤣
@@Shanahra-ok1ne I'm just picturing them shaving a hairy balloon lol
So anything tagged ASMR seems to be a auto bot take down right away
I dont think so, because there's a lot of Non-Vtuber ASMR that hasn't been taken down or even flagged. I feel like this is SPECIFICALLY the V-Tuber community.
Yeah. We just need a vtuber streaming site. This YT mess is ridiculous.
Problem is (aside from the number of eyes on the site) you're gonna end up with lotsa bad apples who were legit banned from UA-cam for valid reasons, and the site won't even have a chance. Happened to Vidme, happened to Rumble, happened to Kick.
@@KetsubanSolotbf, at least kick and rumble (donno about the third) based large part of their advertising on being "censorship-free" and allowing many things banned on other sites, like gambling n stuff. So they basically strongly attracted the "redpilled" crowd, leading to many people with some sense of common decency to ditch the sites.
I wish that YT would address the rampant CP bots in the comments with even a fraction of the vigor that they address Vtuber ASMR streamers.
The false strike and termination is getting out of hand right now
I’m just going to say it there are a ton a “try-on,” “yoga,” “ride/walk-alongs,” and “model walk” videos. The latter two can be fairly tame but the first two are very questionable. Asmr is more like the latter where there are questionable videos but are outweighed by the tame ones by a good margin. UA-cam gotta get their priorities straight
Because even though they won't admit it, Yt believes those kind of vids make them the most moolah.
There are also bikini wax videos. Full frontal nudity.
19:24 Holy crap someone else remembers Guity Crown exists! My Dearest is such a beautiful opening.
Man, YT needs to take some chill pills and being mature for once and for all 🤦♂️
The wealthy backings of big corp is anything but "mature".
16:32 If this wasn’t exclusive to Tier Xs the Fuwamoco camo probably would’ve appeared on the M41 Bulldog and related tanks (such as the M41D and leKpz M41 90 mm). I think you get the implications here
ASMR is literally just audio, how the hell is that covered by restrictions on "nudity and sexual content"? Are UA-cam going to ban someone for reading out Lady Chatterley's Lover?
Sexual sounds maybe
I can't stop wondering why people think these type of takes could ever bear any weight in reality...
Shocked to see a reference to Lady Chatterly’s Lover in a vtuber news video, but honestly I think that just proves we’re cultured.
hmm, it would seem that kuro-sanji thinks it's "negligible" to listen to their talents and fan's oof. R.I.P Salen
UA-cam is somehow completely fine with “prank videos” that are just a guy and his sister being sexually explicit in public, but UA-cam hates ASMR of the most benign things.
Dude what the hell is UA-cam’s deal with ASMT? 😂
Eyyy VAllure mentioned! Hopefully next time it'll be for good news and not YT Drama
I'm just waiting for youtube to finally do enough damage to themselves the board starts wondering why the earnings have plummeted
Edit
It's almost as if Niji is getting Karma's mean left hock for something they did...
UA-cam has famously never turned an actual profit.
@@alabasterscarf612 Sadly, that's not true, UA-cam streaming isn't making money but UA-cam and Google are still rolling
Well, Google and their parent company are now a Convicted monopoly, so we shall see how that turns out.
We really need an alternative to UA-cam... They are absolutely out of control
Kinda surprised Stake hasn't tried to make one. Given Kick's relative... Success, it seems like it'd be a perfect way to expand.
@@cn8299
That's the unfortunate state of it.
As you alluded to, only corporations the size of Microsoft or Apple have the resources needed to set up a viable alternative to UA-cam...but why would they bother when it's a massive financial sinkhole for realistically little gain (compared to just staying out of it)?
@@jesuszamora6949”success”
is very subjective.
I wouldn’t mind it if it wasn’t funded by gambling which is a horrible habit that could ruin your entire life if you find yourself addicted. It’s horrendous.
Alternatives have tried, but nobody ever takes them seriously, so they never get traction.
I'm so glad u brought more attention to the problems with asmr contents on yt, it has been constant over the past few months that more channels r getting suspended, they hav to do something about this, I just don't understand the sudden censorship in contents like this. Loved the indie segment! Nice to see so many hitting follower goals.
Really feels like YT, along with Twitch, are discreetly trying to push Vtubers out.
right now YT really hates ASMR and basically auto-bans whenever it is reported without review. becuase the targeting is too specific to be a 'broadly enforced policy', it's clearly a double standard where vtubers/asmr are held to a different standard than everyone else
I hope henya have a wonderful birthday and get well soon💜
18:42 WILD MOMO SPOTTED
I miss her, I hope she comes back soon..
@@prd6617 look at sony get woke
No, this company is garbage. And it’s not just en, it’s a whole company that is garbage. Jp side did many stupid things too.
I know it's not really a proper solution, but until UA-cam changes, these ASMR channels need to come up with another term to use as a tag.
Bros + Sisters it's going to get so bad on UA-cam to the point that even saying hello will get us these strikes..
I still remember the moment YT struck Oumiya Emma's recent ASMR 3DIO stream for being too "seggs" where in reality it was just towel rubbing noise. Emma tried to appeal only to be answered with their "auto reply" and YT just went "welp ur stream is still lewd, we took it down"
Hope Henya feels better.

Henya's birthday was silent but not as lonely as you might think.
A lot of us were celebrating with Henya in her Twitch chat. Got an offline hype train going too.
Once could be accident.
Twice could be coincidence.
Thrice and beyond? It's either ignorance, laziness or deliberate action.
Or everything at once
I’m pretty sure that someone in UA-cam hates Asmr/Vtuber content and is trying to get it removed without losing their job hence why they aren’t just all getting removed at once and why some violations are bogus but still go through the system
Anyone knows what happened to Kurumi Ayami? She's a vtuber and she recently gained a loli model this year. She used to have a blue model... I think that's a cat? No idea. Her channel on UA-cam and her X account just disappeared.
I wondered if I had leads in bluesky. But nothing.

UA-cam When Someone Whispers Into A Mic: "HOW DARE YOU, YOU HARLOT, TO THE VOID REALM WITH YOU, YOU DON'T DESERVE A CHANNEL"
Seeing Nijisanji falling more and more into the hell just put a smile on our face. Hope the innocents like Vivi Scarle can get out before it's too late
God, no asmr is safe from YT, it's gotta be so scary if you do like doing that sort of content and it not even be inappropriate
The return of Lae-dee!
Remember the time some not so smart person said a certain decision would be "negligible"? ....yeeeeaaaa so about that
youtube suddenly for no reason whatsoever: "WHISPERING INTO A MICROPHONE REGARDLESS OF TONE OR IMPLICATION IS TOO EROTIC!!!!" also youtube for the past decade: "so what if half of the ads you see are straight up porn, the money they gave us states that it's not my problem."
I like that you mix good news in nice!
Absolute insanity.
we out here muting non slur words as if it will kill the channel for mentioning "newdity and secshual guidelines"
wait
YT always targeted asmr vtuber, even twitch and kick do a same thing.
This stream hatchet award not just excluded vtubers/ its also eurocentric and usa-centric. they dont wanna recognised anyone outside of those region
16:30 I call BS that the mobile version gets it first and NOT the Consoles nor PC gets them as well!!! I MUST HAVE THEM!!!
i got an endless summer ad!!! hell yea
Another day of hearing another problem with YT.
What a great year for vtubers right...
Thank you for the VTuber news.
I hope YT finds a way to improve their content review system (very unlikely, but we can dream, right?)
You can tell Nijisanji is falling off when they had a major segment here and yet a large majority of the top comments are about Kanna or just youtube in general being shitty
Just waiting on talents and content creators to change platforms so i can stop using UA-cam to view them.
7:01 . _ .) Mmm
now the clique make sense
Can't believe Immy got terminated over having gummy worms on her mic. YT rules and system are a joke at this point. You can copyright claim any channel without proof forcing the other person to send confidential data to YT or loose their channel, and you better make sure to not sneeze in a strange way or you bet your channel will be terminated.
I really hope YT either gets their system in order once and for all or that someone makes a similar alternative that doesn't have all of these issues. (I know there are similar sites, but they're not as global or well known)
Uouo getting 3D is neat, cant wait to see yet another of Asagi's daughters in 3D.
UA-cam isn't subtle anymore. vtubers are getting penalised for the same things that irl channels do.
mistake? right...
"Rubbing gummy worms" flagged as segsual content...is certainly a choice
UA-cam cracking down on ASMR content for being spicy while allowing full nudity and animal cruelty content is crazy work
Gotta spend money to make money and Niji seems to be doing the opposite. Of both.
Anycolor need to become more open, change their CEO and policy with their Vtubers and stay more open to fans, maybe like this they have a small chance to return fans back or get new ones
Dunno how many times UA-cam can get away with this kind same mistake for years. If it's a guy, the guy probably already fired after the 3th or 4th mistake
Poor female streamers losing againsts Holomems, the future is now! 🤣🤣
I miss my oshi, robo false, its been so long, but I will never forget him (damn interns!)
Since WHEN does it not approve of licking emotes? Then they better block the 50 other emotes I've seen, including from major channels, or that is BS.
I think to rectify this, you can change to a static image during ASMR.
Bro this is pretty sad fr. That is a little on why I have not announced on UA-cam I’m a vtuber just isn’t a good idea if they targeting people like this
Deadly Gummy Worms 🐛...
Poor Henya...
Are there groups that go around false reporting VTuber ASMR? Because that would explain a lot.
It looks like Niji EN is likely to be shut down, spun off or merged into another part of Niji at some point soon.
I wonder what would happen if everyone just started reporting random shit across youtube.
