Wow ! thanks so much ! you solved my issue of it not working at first....(I tried denoising based on another tutorial video of someone else but following your steps made it finally work for me ! thanks !)
@@archivizual4236 It sure did, BTW Octane's fur shader is so amazing, it gives photorealistic results, that's why I began working with it, to see what kind of hair/fur renders I get with it.
Certo, mas como aplicar denoiser no render final, sou novo no Octane, venho do cycles, q é MT simples de usar, poderia explicar como aplicar o denoiser no render final?

𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 : YES !!!! I figured out what was the issue....it was for some reason defined to run the default kernel of Octane (on the Render Properties tab) instead of running the "Path Trace" kernel which is way faster....now even an heavy amount of fur it denoises very quickly in like 2-3 seconds ! now I'm happy :) that's great. For some reason the denoiser is quite slow for me on a very simple model - just a Suzanne monkey with 2000 faces (after smooth modifier applied to it), it takes about 45 seconds for it to finish the denoising....that's too slow for a very simple scene and model (which is considered lowpoly) that has a simple universal material, 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭? how come your scene which is more complex than mine got denoised to quickly? (I've a RTX 2060) Edit : Oh and also the resolution is low, 640x480..I put 500 samples for it to first complete tho (but even 100 samples takes the same time to complete if not more)
@@archivizual4236 I am very much looking forward to it. You will be offering something really needed for the blender community and surprisingly nobody lunched yet.
Do you know how to separate the object that need denoise and don’t need? Because sometimes I try to keep some texture noisy but it disappears because denoiser
The version 3.0 had the ability to display textures in the viewport, after that version, for some reason it is not working anymore. I have reported this problem to Otoy and I am waiting my answer.
I have enabled the spectral AI denoiser in the camera setting, i enabled the "beauty" pass in the denoiser section of the view layer, and i connected the OctDenoiserBeauty output of the render layers node in the compositor to the composit output. The final image of the render i have it's not denoised. And the weird thing is that i enabled the beauty denoiser pass in the preview... and i get the denoised preview in the viewport, but not the final render. Anyone have info on this: it's a bug or i missing something? I checked every option, i'm out of ideas
Same problem here, octane DenoisedBeauty pass output only to final image does not work properly, does not denoise completely as it does beautifuly in preview viewport mode. Can you share what passes you output in Compositor, please?
@@fiftyrock same problem. any tutorial or guide is just showing how to enable in viewport and not for the final render. that is not worth much, i dont even need denoiser in my viewport.

CUDA is better than Optix?
This works finally
:)
Thanks, need more of that, also caustics pls:)
I wiil record a new video about caustics.
the denoiser works in the viewport but when I render it doesn't work
I have the exact same issue, can't find anything currently to fix it

@@TheWindowsUser92 thank you. It worked
Octane makes life so hard😂, in cycles is só simple, Octane is Full of shit, so many Denoiser buttons to check, is too much Head blowing.
@@TheWindowsUser92 it's not work still
I can't see "override" thing. And denoiser doesn't work. Help
Pls make a quick tips video about octane scatter
I will include it in my list

You're welcome!
Do you have a full Blender&Octane course? I am unable to find one on the net.
I am looking for the same !

I believe this is not possible, the way I do is rendering the denoise and the beauty pass separatly and then adjust it photoshot using ID passes
in 4:07 how do you do that where in you can preview the material colors even if youre not in render mode?

Hello, boss, there are few OC tutorials. Can I carry your tutorials
Sorry, I didn´t get what you meant.
When I use "beauty denoiser" pass, it stops rendering in viewport always "waiting for image"
you have to turn on denoiser in your camera as well
