Taeja truly was one of the best players of all time. I'm sad that he didn't continue to play. I remember watching all of these matches. Scarlet vs Bomber was another banger.
I loved TaeJa. I still consider him my favorite SC2 player to this day, despite him no longer playing. Actually all my favorite players, very successful or not, keep leaving! TaeJa, Rogue, Jaedong, Heart, Alicia.. All gone. At least Ryung and Bunny are still going! Edit: AND TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY, the video literally shows Jaedong, Heart, and Alicia!! I made that previous post about all my favorites leaving, BEFORE watching the video so I had no idea they were even in this video.
Taeja vs Innovation and Jaedong vs Gumiho were 2 of the MOST exciting evenly matched Hardfought Series in SC2 history imo. It sucks the most epic game between JD and Gumiho was erased in the VOD
I remember that one game Ryung played where he came back from a cannon rush and then a carrier army. I don't remember who it was against, I want to say Zest.
As soon as I saw the title of this video I thought "I really hope he mentions Taeja vs Zest" and sure enough the very first one... But then I realized it was the wrong one! The Taeja vs Zest comeback in the GSL 2016 Season 2 in the round of 16 was even more insane and contained a lot of drama leading up to the match! First, Taeja announced it was going to be his last tournament before retiring. Also Zest had just won Season 1 of the GSL Code S and was a top seed heading into the round of 16 which means he got to choose who he had to face in his group stage. He specifically chose Taeja because, at the time, his PvT was incredible, and Taeja was considered to be the weakest remaining Terran going into the Round of 16 (behind Byun, Cure, Maru and TY). They met in the loser's match. Score was 1-1. Going into game 3 the writing was on the wall; Zest was completely dominating the game. He was up 4 bases to 2. He had 40 more army supply. Taeja, knowing the situation, went all in, and failed. After the fight, Taeja had a slight army supply advantage, but his economy was in complete shambles. His main an natural were mined out, and Zest was pumping full strength on 4 bases. It should've been over... But then Taeja floated his main to an island base, and his natural to his 3rd base. After a couple minutes of building up and defending his newly acquired base, Taeja was able to muster up a decent sized army, and pulled the trigger on a doom drop while Zest's army was out of position and depowered all of Zest's production. The superior economy and bank didn't matter when he literally had no way to spend his money. He flipped the entire game on it's head with almost nothing! Against all odds, he brought down the titan; Zest. Going into the final moments of the game, the announcer's can be heard saying: "The defending GSL champion is about to be eliminated by a player that announced his retirement!" It was incredible. Anyways... That's my esports story of the day. I wish it was included in this video :(
I remember watching wcs live back then just wanted to see my favorite player jaedong. that man is spectacular who can control multitasking the muta group as one and also he controlled Rorschach at the final match vs Dear that moment was like a movie how he surrounded Stalker to the hill. man i was wish this man comeback but nah, he hate sc2.
Tbh I always hated the fact that terran can comeback 100% of the time if they have an Orbital Station (or whatever that CC with a satelite dish is called). It doesn't matter if they have 0 minerals and 0 SCV's. That bastard just drops 4 MULEs at once and has the same mining rate as if he had 12 SCV's or more. While no other race can even think of a comeback from a situation like that (0 minerals and 0 workers 1 nexus/hatch).
Other races can spawn a whole army from thin air w hatcheries and warp gates. Terran is stuck with normal production buildings but the ability to warp in workers
The key of all TvZ's comebacks is 3rd cc. If terran survies with 3 orbitals and handful scvs vs super zerg all in- terran has a pretty good chance to continue the game and win. You can check this in Heart vs Xigua and Mvp vs Tefel-both terrans have 3 orbitals and trade well.
I love your videos, but where is soulkey vs innovation? I mean a BW player who just reverse 4-0's after losing so many games in a row. He lost the first 3 games and everyone counted him out, people were leaving GSL's show room, then by the end of it they were packed again.
No Serral vs herO in the recent IEM? Serral didn't quit, though he should have, and he has quit better positions, so herO got scared. That was the biggest comeback I've seen, biggest in the sense that Serral absolutely should've lost that. Biggest throw probably better term.
15:17 I get getting frustrated that your 6 pool didn't work but you're not THAT behind. Terran has no way of killing you anytime soon. It's 7 workers vs. 5. I wouldn't gg here.
@@etismyname Agree to disagree. It's not a good position but it's not losing 10/10. Make a queen, get gas, and squeak out banelings and you have have a legitimate chance.
@@direct278 against a player of that calibre, its a loss 99/100, possibly even more and would be almost disrespectful to waste time by trying to claw that one back. you have to understand the level of game sense these pros have - there would be a pack of marines in the base before that baneling nest even gets a chance to finish, and even if you did by some miracle manage to stay alive until you got out a handful of banelings, the marines will be split so that its a trade of one bane for one marine
@@Robothuck Dude we're talking about a 1 rax Terran with no add-ons or gas. If he had a reactor (or gas for one), sure. You guys are vastly overestimating an orbital. Sure, mules print minerals but until he builds another rax or gets a refinery he's not going to have a critical mass of marines. On top of that: Marines are terrible fighting units until stim/medivacs/combat shields. Speedlings would wipe the floor with them. EDIT: Playing for your tournament life isn't disrespectful lmao. I'm not saying this was an IdrA rage quit but this was premature. Honestly he should have just droned up and 2 base all-ined when the SCV's went to his main.

@@Matty0289 Rogue is back. He will be playing in this seasons GSL.

That burrow play with dream v Scarlett… shits so hot you can’t even dream of hit that good

What a great video, I was locked in start to finish.
The wife is hanging out with her besty tonight and I'm thoroughly enjoying this upload with my 12 pack of brewskis haha!
I remember that one game Ryung played where he came back from a cannon rush and then a carrier army. I don't remember who it was against, I want to say Zest.
Oh yeah that one with the marines decimating the carriers. That was probably Zest you're right.

Thanks for the great comment and informations !
Great selection of games, SC2 is brutal.
Yesterday i have won a match where i was literally 120 supply behind in the middle of the game
mvp vs squirtle was and will always be the best comeback ever!
I wonder how things would have been if P and Z had a comeback mechanic as strong as T's.
Anything is a wrong move vs. Maru lol

this video is just a showcase of Top 10 Terran Bullshit Moments
Other races can spawn a whole army from thin air w hatcheries and warp gates. Terran is stuck with normal production buildings but the ability to warp in workers
@@DrSparr0w ah yes. The 0 minerals zealots and 0 minerals 0 gas mutas. I totally forgot about those. Sorry my bad.
Gumiho's comeback against Reynor despite being almost 70 supply down.

Keep up the great content
What about when SoulKey reverse swept Innovation?
I think that is still the only 7-game reverse sweep in GSL history...it was the finals! surprised to not see that here
10:38 the moment gunfubanda fkcup 😂

I had a separate video about this comeback ;)
@@EsportsStoryteller haha awesome
Protoss comebacks have gone down with the Archon toilet 😢
You missed herO vs Cure g3 at Katowice
Scarlet has some balls i swear.
Zest should have gone back to power his previous buildings in his main
Destiny vs Bomber needs to be here!!
serral recently huge comeback (dont remember the game)
This video should be called "check out how OP terran is when behind"
what is the name of the song at 7:30 i cant find it anywhere on the starcraft ost
It's one of the terran themes. Terran theme 1, I think?
If Classic vs SoS ain’t here, I’ll be… upset
23:00 is clearly matchfixing
stay at bronze, you dont understand the game
I haven't played in years and it still annoys me when I see Terrans knocked down to like 8 SCVs and still mining at an even rate because of mules. XD

the best comeback was soulkey vs innovation back in hots time
This list is BS without Soulkey's reverse sweep. He is the best reverse sweeper across both SCBW and SC2.
We had a separate video about his comeback in sereis - ua-cam.com/video/5pRfHii1utE/v-deo.htmlsi=rzB3jCFGbG20U5tD
WIABLE
Did you know ohana means family?
I know he's banned, but where is Life's reverse sweep vs. DRG? Seriously?
15:17 I get getting frustrated that your 6 pool didn't work but you're not THAT behind. Terran has no way of killing you anytime soon. It's 7 workers vs. 5. I wouldn't gg here.
It's over. Terran has mules and can produce marines non stop. On a small map, it's even tougher. Not to mention it's MKP

THERE IS NO BETTER COMEBACK THAN IDRAS RAGE QUIT AGAINST MKP. IF YOU DON'T KNOW THEN YOU DON'T REALLY PLAY THIS GAME
you should tell who is playing which race aswell. it kinda makes watching without context useless
