I know this music is peanuts compared to A World Without Danger, but I still quite like it.

It's a good opening, but it's a shame it was used for a mediocre sequel to a great show.
I never even knew this existed. I wish they could cast someone better for live action Aelita :/

Yknow, as dissapointing as CLE was, i gotta give it props for the soundtrack; it was pretty good. Granted, i wish they wouldve kept all the old tracks from the original and then added the new songs to it instead of just replacing all the classic songs we know and love, but still, CLE had a pretty solid soundtrack. The opening and the virtualization theme are prime examples of that...now if only the show itself was any good, maybe than Moonscoop wouldnt be defunct today

@@MangaSlayer102 Respectfully disagree. The story in and of itself just didn't feel like Code Lyoko (to me, at least).
I get they wanted to do new things and explore new concepts but all the stuff with the Cortex and the Ninjas and Professor Tyrone or whatever his name was...ima be honest, it felt like a bad fanfic.
I liked some of the ideas, like XANA having implanted each of them with some of his data and trying to get it back, everyone being able to deactivate Towers for a bit, William getting a redemption arc, the addition of Laura was a nice change of pace. It wasnt all bad.
That being said, i have a lot more problems with Evolution than it JUST being live action.

@@MangaSlayer102 I mean, tbh my biggest problem with Evolution isnt that it wasnt the sequel I wanted, its that its a sequel that we didnt really need.
The original Code Lyoko is a perfectly self contained story that stands on its own. It wrapped itself up, had a satisfying conclusive ending, and can be enjoyed start to finish without any dissatisfaction. It tells a complete story with no missing pieces.
Evolution needlessly continues that story, doesnt really add anything meaningful or all that compelling, and then to add insult to injury it just ends abruptly on a cliffhanger, baiting for a second season that we will never get. It just, idk. Its like this weird offshoot now that doesnt add much of anything to the original show and doesnt succesfully stand on its own, either. Thats my main issue.
They took a perfectly good story that was already over and tried to add onto it without really having much to actually add. And then they didnt know how to end the show again so they just cliffhanged with sequel bait for a sequel they most likely knew would never come bc of how poor the ratings for Evolution were.
HammerMeister1999 yeah and the only thing that really disappointed me from the original is making William a lyoko warrior for one episode they could’ve done it at the beginning of season 3 then have him taken at the end of that season but oh well and to hear Xana’s terrifying voice at the end was insane

Honestly, the music sounds like you’re preparing for an epic sci-fi fantasy battle. I understand the old music and intro is better, but it’s the nostalgia hits more.
Still waiting for the next season......
This is the last one, MoonScoop is dead (since 2013).
2022 and nothing, MoonScoop is dead, no one picked it up from where they left.
since 2015 a brand named mediatoon got the rights to have code lyoko but they only did youtube channels in different languages with episodes of the show and nothing else :/

Cómo coger una intro icónica y convertirla en una intro genérica, sin estilo ni vida en dos sencillos pasos. Aunque lo mismo se puede decir de la temporada esta, menos mal que el director original confirmó que todo Evolution no es canon

es increíble este intro y también la serie es increíble pero... vieran continuado con la animada ya que la animación se podían lucir con efectos de virtualizacion ya que en esta serie no se mira mucho el interior de las cápsulas

Los cambios que menos me han gustado de Code Lyoko a Evolution son precisamente el cambio de opening (que A World Without Danger estaba genial) y que lo hagan actores reales en las partes de la Tierra, pero bueno, como buen fan de la serie, me alegro de que la continuaran ^-^

@@ruumple1998 que va, esta bastante bien, no mejor que la original pero está bien. la serie original tampoco era perfecta eh, que estaba llena de recortes, animaciones recicladas, inconsistencias, falta de continuidad y un final abrupto por falta de presupuesto. no nos pasemos de nostálgicos
The Code lyoko evolution would have been better if they used same old battle musics and the intro would have been same style as before. But after all, i liked code lyoko evolution too!

Why was this Show created instead of finishing the show by following the story from the books?
because the fans of the show wanted to see more content of the characters on tv instead of the books, besides the books from code lyoko are not canon from the original show, they have different stories

Why was CL:E bad?
1) It made Moonscoop bankrupt because they chose live action instead of choosing the cheapest which everyone loved.
2) The music sounded like if CL was a movie. Speaking of which
3) The live action made it seem like a movie.
4) They cast the worst people. I get Yumi, William, Ulrich and Jeremy. But Aelita's wig was meh, too saturated. And Odd, just don't get me started.
5) Because there was hardly any budget left, dubs weren't available.
6) Complicated storyline.
7) Why is XANA's new logo all over, but not updated in Lyoko?
8) Why on earth are the towers square?
9) Lyoko is hardly ever seen because of the Cortex, defeating the point of Lyoko being in the title.
10) Since when was XANA back online to grow more powerful, anyways? Give us backstory, man!
11) The logo is this really advanced font, then Evolution, the main bit to make it a sequel and not just some even more sci-fi version of Code Lyoko, is in the plainest font ever.
12) Whoever designed the new XANA logo and the font of the logo is crazy. No wonder they had no money left.
Why do I like it?
Simple answer. It had one season before our eyes were saved from the monstrosity. And the music. It is pretty good, just not fitting.
Highly disagree with you to an extent.
1. CL:E did make MS bankrupt, but the live action was far more impressive than expected. Moonscoop literally did what Netflix has failed to do all these years: which is to make a near-accurate/accurate live action of a cartoon/anime.
2. The music actually fit perfectly, because it synced with the acting, mood, atmosphere, etc, of the various scenes portrayed. It did feel like a movie, which is what made the series even better lmao.
3. Again, the cinematic atmosphere is what made CL:E better.
4. Odd and Aelita were actually spot on. It's literally thé same Odd and Aelita we all loved as kids, just not animated lmfaoooo. + Aelita's wig is a bit off, but still works. So I don't get your point here.
5. It works either way. Dubbing would've been appreciated, but unnecessary.
6. Only Aelita's background was complicated.

8. *Rectangular. + It was probably to make the towers more digitized, which was not necessary, but it still worked.
9. Lyoko is present almost half the time in each episode fym. Even Lyoko's map has been improved and extended on the show. Lmfaoooo, it's like you were watching CL:E with your eyes closed shut.
10. Agreed. That was a terrible start. But I think It's a continuation from the animated version.
11. CL:E's font is actually fitting. The entire series revolves around virtual aesthetics, not sci-fi. It's supposed to look like a video game logo, not Cyberpunk 2077.
12. Now you're just plain hating. The logo's perfect, actually an outstanding improvement. It looks more virtual/fits the virtual aesthetic better than the original. + The addition of modern touches is impressive.
Everything about CL:E, including the OST, Cinematic atmosphere, Casting, Acting, etc., is on point and fitting.
Apart from the financial aspect, CL:E was unfathomably amazing. It's far from bad.

Man, in my opinion, this show absolutely tanked compared to the original anime. I wish they’d do a reboot. 🥲
