Because of the hair line and the fact that he is only slightly thinning on top, his shaved head looks like he isnt even balding. Perfect for getting used to the look without having to worry that people will think you shaved your head because of balding. Lucky bastard.

Today I shaved my head for the first time in my life thanks to Baldcafe and I couldn't feel any better.
No more hair fibres to cover my bald patches. No more stains on my pillows, dirty hands and nails, dirty bathroom because of fibres. No more time wasted on trying to make the fibres look natural within my hair and feel constantly conscious and worry about it.
Also, I have no intention on becoming a slave of hair systems or microneedling and medication for the rest of my life, same as Aaron said.
Overall, I feel lucky already having had my hair until my late thirties and from now on will rock my new look.
Without your channel I would not take that leap and I am so happy I did it. I feel I owe you a lot. Thanks mate.

I will be honest, if i had his remaining hair, i would have never shaved it off, but i believe we have to judge by HIS judgement and how he felt about it. Respect bro! Its like body dismorphia disorder, although we may see that the person looks normal, they may percieve their appearance depressing, so we have to be understanding!

I actually think it’s good to shave early rather than having a long period of clinging on as it gets progressively worse and it gets you down more and more

This is exactly the kinda community I'm looking for. And this person basically said whatever I'm currently feeling. I buzzed my head last year and felt great. But thought if I regrew it, it should be fine. I'm back where I was at. Feeling insecure. This video only made me realize I need to deal with my hair balding. I'mma talk to my folks and buzz my head again and keep it that way. At least I'll have my peace of mind during the lockdown

I relate a lot to this video, I’m 22 years old, and have been struggling with insecurity and being sad over my balding or thinning head. I noticed it when I was 16, that’s incredibly young. I do the same thing looking at my bald areas wit a mirror and taking photos with the front camera, etc. It has effected my self esteem and I’m so self conscious about it. I’ve done so much like pills and minoxidil and haven’t seen many results. But I want to have that confidence you have to shave your head. I applaud you.

diffuse thinning but the front is good, maybe add fin or dut, min, and dermaroll it'll recover. You have it lucky because you have your hairline which is nice. Not too many people can save their hairline.
Either way he’s balding, eventually he’s going to lose it all. Whether it starts at the front or back isn’t relevant, if anything it’s worse when it starts at the back, you’ll eventually build one big bald spot while still having your hairline in the front at a Norwood 2-3, looks weird.

At first I thought I'd like to still have that much hair, I wouldn't even shave it. Then I understood that this was about loving yourself no matter how much hair you had on your head. If someone actually tells you otherwise they're most likely jealous or if I were to look at them they're probably ugly even with hair on their head. Take this from experience but I am now 51 and started losing my hair in my early 20s and went through every treatment you could think of and over the years have had two lots of FUE transplants from one of the better doctors you can get. First of all i would say is that FRONTAL hairline is king when it comes to having a good look, so because you have great frontal coverage at the moment I don't think you should panic yet, you still look great. I remember when I started to lose my frontal area rapidly after trying some too harsh hair lotion there and it was devastating, It was like I lost my whole identity and I felt old and depressed. What I learnt going through the whole thing especially with the transplants is that the frontal hairline is the most important, to frame your face, and the crown area is just an afterthought, an important one at that but not like your frontal hair area. I don't shave my head because I don't like my look with a shaved head. If I was you personally I would be very happy with the hair the way it is untill you were significantly losing the frontal hair, but thats just my opnion. You have nice youthfull looks so enjoy that, and maybe use some rogaine foam at night. I don't use finasteride because of side effects. If your going out somewhere at night you can always use those hair fibres to bulk up your crown. Anyway good luck with it.

The hairline still pretty good tho.. but nice to see him dealing with it early.
It looks much better to leave a little length rather than using no guard. 1/4 cut is perfect. I kept a buzz cut for 20 years. I did the same thing at first, but having a little hair looks better especially if you still have it up front. No need to go full on The Rock.
Love the look, the girls will love it. If you want to keep your hair you can take finasteride (but keep in mind possible small effects regarding libido that affect a minority, I took it and it worked in my case). If you don't want to care about your hair just maintain it shaved, live on with your life and rock it. My hair situation is a bit the same as yours, so I really understand you :).

I have similar hair to him and I worry about it every single day pretty much. I can ensure my hair looks good in a picture etc but i know for a fact that it is thin on top and I am very insecure about it. I am constantly using a hand mirror and holding it behind my head whilst i look at myself in another mirror so that i can check how bad my thinning crown is. I am 29 and i used to be ignorant to it. It was only my 'friend' told me how 'drastic' my hair looked from behind when i realised i did have an issue and then i started checking myself.

I’m going through the same thing, I’m in my 20s, my crown is balding, I’m checking it all day every day, constantly on my phone camera and in mirrors and just don’t know what to do!!!
Watch plenty of these stories and check out my ebook to read my story for a bit of relatability. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. It sucks but it’s normal af and is a common journey. Weigh up your options and take action where you feel most comfortable. Remember when all is said and done if you end up being a bald guy it’s absolutely fine and those disasters you are pondering over aren’t logical.
One thing I noticed when I starting thinning, is the more I worried about it, the more I seemed to thin out. Now I'm not fussed and have embraced the whole 'if it goes, it goes' mindset, it seems to have stopped? Stressing about it will definitely make it happen quicker!

I think you have a good shaped head for a buzz cut but I am more partial to leaving stubble like a number #1 or #2. You should experiment with different attachments. Skin 100% can be too much on some people . I am nearing the same situation and trying to figure out what works for me. My problem is I don't look good with short hair in front. Trying to leave a front part and a buzz in back...complicated.

Some people are blessed with front hairline... that all what it matters to be honest example:Zidane... the front hairline is what makes you look good or bad. balding or thinning from behind isn't the issue you could shave and call it a day.
