This is one of the biggest turn arounds I've had the pleasure of sharing. Thank you Juan, really happy for you and I really hope this story helps other guys out there who are on this journey. 🤝
Wow Harry… another life ruined. Look at his ears. There so big. If I was dating him I would break off the engagement once I saw him looking like that thing. Why Harry? Why do people have to look as bad as you. Although you look better then big ears and big head there.
@@batsymallon8847 You know what the guy with the Dumbo ears looks like.. A Toxic Avenger. Please put the rug back on. Thanks for ruining another mans life Harry👎👎
I loved it when he said, "Don't worry, you're going to look AMAZING!" I was like "Hellllls YEAH!!!! Shave! Shave! Shave!" Granted, I am a bald guy who works in a lab full of bald guys. It's pretty awesome.
I’ve never related to person more than this. I’m about to do it tonight. 34 years old. I’ve passed up jobs because I would have to do my hair and how would it look. I needed to watch this I think to get that last bit of courage. Thank you for being so vulnerable and sharing this with the world brotha. You look like a a million bucks. Here goes nothing…
Likewise brother. Appreciate you commenting here I truly wish you nothing but the best and freedom from this burden on the other side 🤝 we’re all behind you.
@@Rj-Plays99 best decision I’ve ever made. I haven’t worried about my hair or what I look like in 2 months. Most freeing thing ever. No more anxiety everytime I have to go somewhere where I can’t wear a hat. I truly wish I would have done it years ago. Funniest thing is to me that I was really worried about, like hardly anyone cares. Like I was ready to get laughs or comments and like hardly anyone even said anything other than it looks great. Like I think my mom was most “shocked” lol I hardly ever where a hat anymore. Like it’s just so freeing. Go to the store, go to dinner, I never stress or feel anxiety about my hair. Like I love not having to wear a hat everywhere. And truly no cares but in the best way. Again I just wished I did it years ago because truly I have not missed having hair for second since I did it
The dude looks great. He looks healthier, fitter and stronger without the wig. And when you have great mates it doesn't matter whether you have hair or not.
well, it's great having males compliment him, but see what women think. It immediately downgraded him 2-3 points on attraction scale. But obviously if you're already extra attractive, you'll still be attractive
I'm a woman and I think he looks great. He has a good head shape and his features are symmetrical. Those gorgeous eyes are gonna pop now! Hope he's enjoying the freedom
I actually found it upsetting that hair loss had controlled this guys life for so long and what a beautiful attractive man, far better without the hair piece that with. It’s great to see him grow in confidence and be free to be himself. Xx
I love how his friend shaving his head was encouraging all the way. And made sure that he was OK during the process. You could see that the friend wanted to give him a hug to comfort him a couple of times. Never underestimate great friends. 😁
I immediately noticed his eyes when the wig came off. He looks great. My husband started go bald in his twenties and after a catastrophic accident at 47 he began shaving his head. I love it.
Sorry to hear about that, wishing you a speedy recovery and a long and healthy life! Your hair will grow back and is only temporary , most women keep their hair for life so count yourself lucky! but most men don't keep their hair, only a small minority of men can keep a full head of hair to old age. It is all the more tragic when men lose it at a young age In the 20s and early 30s.
Very brave of you to not only do this, but publicly share your experience in such an honest way. Video's like this are the antidote to the perfectionism that's sold to us everyday. I think there's peace and joy in acceptance, congratulations. Also, this guy looks perfectly handsome with the shaved head.
This honestly brought out his features. I know it is overwhelming and that he had to have a drink to take the edge off, but sincerely I think he looks better. He is mature looking enough to completely pull it off!
This guy is incredibly brave. No matter what one may think about how he looks now compared to before it is clear a huge weight has been lifted off him and you can see how relieved he is to finally be done with it all. God bless this dude.
It would be great if you two have a podcast/discussion as a subscriber to both channels I would love to see you have a chat and share opinions and perspectives
It's beautiful to see him free himself from so much fear and anxiety and embrace his authentic self. He looks absolutely fantastic because of it -- it's not about the hair or no hair at all. He looks great bald though!
My advice to you, please learn about islam because in our religion women suppose to cover his whole body except face and hand. So you just need to wear "hijab" to cover your hair. Its not like hiding or oppress women but actually to protect. May Allah S.W.T guide you all to the true path. Aameen 🤲
As a woman, I can see this but as a cancer survivor, your life is worth far more, the hair will grow back and they have some pretty neat hats, head coverings and wigs that you can use in the meantime, keep the faith, you are stronger than the pain and things endured in this part of your life, in a strange way it is a blessing because it made me look at life altogether differently and know what really is important.
@@Po5itivemind5et yeah hair is everything for us. Men have their cars at least, we have our hair. It’s tough for both genders but when hair for us signifies youth and femininity, it’s devastating when we experience hair loss
When he started crying, he broke me! The worst part is he looks really handsome and he has wasted so much time being so self conscious and living a lie. I'm glad he has found the courage to do this. He has given himself the permission to live freely. I honestly think vanity can be such a hindrance....I know this from personal experience as I was the same for several years with makeup.
Collette you must be queen of the unattractive women’s club. At 90 I am sure you do not see very well. The bald man who just removed his confidence is now unwantable. Amazing how silly and untruthful you sound saying he looks handsome bald. Give me a break
i teared up multiple times watching this. I'm so so so happy for him. He looks amazing, and I'm so so glad he did something to help himself feel better. I'm proud of him for taking such a difficult step. To be honest I'm struggling to take the step myself, but watching this has helped me immeasurably. Thank you. Seriously thank you.
Man you look absolutely amazing without hair, its like you are made for it. Took some real courage man to take that stap, could really tell it was a very big deal for you. you oughta be proud.
He looks 10 times better now! Well done mate from a hairdresser in Australia. You broke my heart describing how self conscious you were and the roll on effect that crippled aspects of your life. No one wants to lose their hair, I wish you'd had a bloody honest and supportive hairdresser/barber to steer you in the right direction with confidence. Every bloke deserves to feel attractive. And believe me, there's a tonne of us women who love a shaved/bald head. Do it!
Not sure if most women feel like me but every time I see a guy trying to hide his balding I want to go up to him and tell him it's not necessary and to PLEASE just shave it off because you'll look so much better! It took 20 years off your life! Looks fantastic!
As a woman who went through a period of losing a lot of my hair seemingly with no clear fix (I reversed it in the end) and having her whole life taken over by it, I understand the struggle. Much strength to you all going through this.
@@sunshinedrops1486 I was 28. I'm using a product called eucapil. I don't know whether it'll work for more severe cases of hairloss tho. My diagnosis were different depending on the specialist so if I have aga, it isn't very aggressive and perhaps that's why both that product + managing stress worked for me. But it might be worth giving it a try.
@Yo S. Thank you so much for your replies. I am very happy that you found a solution that works for you. I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through, losing hair at such a young age. For me, it started mid- 40s. My hairbrush would be filled with hair, and I started noticing hair on my clothes, and on the floor, I was literally driving me nuts. I could just feel hair sliding down my body when I was taking showers, clogging up my drain. At one point, I was COUNTING every hairstrand in my bathroom sink because I had read somewhere that losing 100 to 150 a day is pretty normal. Finally, after searching on the web, I tried Minoxidil. After 1 year of consistent use, my hair is so much better. I am so relieved. Loosing my hair really took an emotional toll on me. It made me very aware that one should literally treat your body as a temple.
@@sunshinedrops1486 I know exactly what you're talking about because I spent more than a year counting the hairs I lost after every shower and going crazy over feeling hairstrands in shoulders and back. It's absolute madness and takes over your life. I'm also really glad minoxidil is working for you. I also forgot to mention I take it orally every two days or so, but it's a very small dose (0'5 mg) so I'm not sure to what extent it makes any difference as I started it one year before eucapil and the hairloss was the same. I think people without hairloss underestimate how bad it is when it happens to you. I've always had the thickest, beautiful curly brown hair that everyone would compliment me on since I was a child. I just feel it gives me my distinctive look (aside from the fact that we're all more than our hair), but you know what I mean. Seeing my appearance change was something that gave me such a stress every single day I would have palpitations going to sleep every night. I would dread the moment of having a shower. I am really really grateful that as for today, I'd say that even tho I haven't achieved 100% the previous thickness, it's like 90% and visually I look again like I did before the ordeal started. So don't lose hope at least you can maintain what you have. After the 40s it's tricky because mostly every woman I've seen loses some thickness. I'll be ok with it because I understand it's an ageing thing, but I pray it'll be something gentle and not a proper balding process. In any way, if it does happen, I'm determined I'll buy the most beautiful wig I find and keep on with my life. I can't let myself be as miserable about it as I was for almost three years.
I've felt that my hair was thinning in the front of my head and this year I started to have CLUMPS fall out every time I washed. It's very scary. But I recently found out that I am severely deficient in vitamin D and have been prescribed a high dose of vitamin D to get my levels back to normal. I'm about to get vitamin K as well for its effectiveness. Looking forward to the new growths!
I started losing my hair at 14, and it was already noticeable by 17. I just accepted that it's who I am, and it's never been an issue for me since. I hope this dude can find the same kind of peace.
The best looking guy in my class was going bald in high school. We teased him, sure, but he was STILL the best looking guy in our class. Girls just don’t care all that much if a guy is bald. Just don’t have ring a clown hair and most of us won’t even really notice.
I agree, he has helped people accept their new look and learn to love and feel good about themselves. He had made the lives of people better and I feel comfortable knowing that if ever did go bald that he had created this awesome community.
The courage it must have taken for this man to do this for the entire world to see (literally)! He looks amazing and I can’t even imagine the weight lifted off of his shoulders by being free, being himself. And he should be delighted at the friend he has shaving his head. A true friend to walk with him every step of the way in this emotional event.
I was really impressed by how patient & encouraging the guy who shaved him was. What a friend in need & in deed that was. Kudos for being such a great friend!
I ended up getting pretty emotional watching this and listening to how this man has struggled with his hair loss. He ended up looking incredible but we all know what it feels like to be the one hurting. You truly have to accept it yourself. I hope that he can look back at this video and see himself for the incredible looking guy that he is!!
This is about developing a relationship with yourself. Self acceptance. A woman doesn't always have to move through this world thinkng about who finds her attractive. Do you think it is possible for you to understand that? Or is it game over for you in the thought department?
@Fabian Kirchgessner interacting with men on a daily basis is a fact of life. Worrying about whether those men find we women attractive is not. Obviously you can’t grasp the idea of a woman who could care less about what a man thinks of her appearance. But we exist and we are very large in number. So keep hiding behind your toxic masculinity if that makes you feel safe. But you’re hiding inside a smaller and smaller clique.
I agree. Hair is just hair. It happens to most people. If this makes him so sad, I shudder to think what will happen to him when he experiences some real grief.
I went through this with my guy. He had low self esteem because he was bald in the middle of his head. I eventually got him to shave everything and at first he was worried about his head shape but once he shaved it all, it was a relief for him. He is so used to it now. You look so much better with a shaved head love!! So much more handsome! Cheers!! 🖤🐈⬛🖤
People don't realize how traumatic losing your hair can be, especially since I had such good hair, it was one of my best qualities lol....But I finally had to shave it, I really do miss having my hair but the stress I had all the time of having to use hair fibers etc...was not worth it... Life is better now ;)
@@faizfuad8361 been bald, just starting shaving it with a razor, i was bike riding recently and was thinking about balding and what some men would give up to have hair, and I realized something balding men must see, your hair doesnt make you a man, your penis does (and for you women it's your vagina). Lol. Good luck and do it before it affects your quality of life, you wont regret it (as these videos should show, nobody has regretted it)
@@faizfuad8361 just go for it man, the confidence boost that you feel when you finally accept it is worth it. I’m 24, should’ve starting shaving when I was 22
You look great mate, I started losing my hair at 22 while serving in the Royal Marines, by the time I was 26 I was cutting my own hair using clippers giving myself a grade zero. My own fear of finding a partner whom was fine with me having no hair was always on my mind, but 31 years of being married and two kids later all my wife knows is what and whom she loves and sees, anyone living in fear of losing their hair need not put theirselves through torment and hell with various treatments and fixes. We are instruments of our own destiny and future, and no one need not feel ashamed or embarrassed losing hair, never ever feel down just rock the look you have
I feel so afraid exactly for this reason, always in my mind: "what girl would love me like that" I have asked my gf if she would still love me with no hair, and she always tells me: "I don't care about it, your hair is not the reason why I fell in love with you" I guess the only one who would need to love me is myself
@@ForceFreeTrainergirl06 Well, most of the bald men you see in the media are handsome and athletic, it helps make a bald man look sexy. But if a man is super skinny or morbidly obese, whether he has hair or not, he will always be seen by others as sick and unattractive.
Not sure how I got to this channel as a female, but it gave me happy tears. You look amazing !! Your confidence will come in time. Just know you look handsome.
Good for him! What an amazing supportive friend too. I know from my personal experience losing your hair and trying to hide it is a terrible feeling. You're scared and filled with anxiety, it really plays a toll on your mental health if not taken seriously. You grieve and doubt your worth just thinking about it, it sounds silly but it's true, our self image is so important! Now maybe not ALL men go through the same emotional process when receding but I sure did especially in my early 20s and not to mention I was a performer and was always known for nice hair, that was SO hard. I started closing myself from the world and experiencing things like swimming in the lake, wearing helmets, getting really close with people physically etc. I tried different methods but couldn't save it, started filling it in with powder and keeping the same cut, from far away I think I got away with it but up close in the right light you could tell it wasn't natural but nobody really said anything to me and did that for a while until I had enough and decided to shave it all and actually loved it. I still love it, I love the fact that I'm the only one in my friends and close family to have a bald head, God blessed me with a great beard so I think that definitely helps, plus everyone was accepting and complimented how nice my head was and a lot of girls don't say anything about, most look at me and tell me they love it. I have more confidence and people can sense that. Cheers mate, for sharing your story and overcoming something so big for you. You look fucking great man! And for all the men receding or losing it, SHAVE IT. Save yourself the time, money and heartache brother I'm telling you. Maybe try some holistic methods first, but why pay for surgery? It's expensive, it hurts, the recovery isn't easy, and it's not guaranteed. Maybe a wig but like why? God made you this way on purpose, own it. Bald heads are masculine and look attractive, once you realize this life gets easier and you will be happier! Get a good 5 blade razor, some nice shaving cream, I like ones with aloe, a brush and some aftershave. Hot water on the head and get the razor hot (I prefer to do it after a shower), get the brush wet, you need a little cream on that brush and lather up your head, I like small/medium circles, just get a nice even layer enough to just hide the hair, then start shaving, you'll probably find your grove after a few times. If it feels okay I'll go against the grain everywhere, it can be stubborn, you'll have to go over some spots maybe a few times, clean your razor then rinse your brush with warm water, squeeze any cream left and do a good job! Now I rinse my head with cold water, JUST DO IT lol, I will put my head under the sink, clean it off and cool it down, then gently dry my head take a small amount of after shave in your palm and rub your palms together and gently pat all around your head, it might sting a little but it goes away fast, it feels good it wakes you up, you will get good at it really fast the more you do it.
It’s sad to see how much it affects him, but he looks 1000x better with a shaved head. It’s amazing how people perceive themselves compared to how everybody else does, he looks great.
He looks so much better without hair! So happy for him that he set himself free! Woohoo! A real woman loves you for you , hair or no hair or somewhere in between. Live your best life! If someone doesn't like you because your bald or whatever then your not with the right person. ❤
I love when men rock the bald look. It’s honestly looks amazing. Hair or no hair, doesn’t matter. It’s all about confidence and being your authentic self. Much love to you guys!
What a brave thing to do. I can imagine how hard that was after hiding something for so long. As a woman, let me assure you, you look great afterwards, very handsome! I hope you can face life with more confidence in the future x
Ditto! Such a handsome face! And as a barber stylist I love to cut men's hair but I also love to see men happy! You seem so much more happy! Now all you need is Jesus... I haven't heard you talk about a relationship with the Lord so that's next for you! Look into a relationship with your creator and your life will definitely be complete! May Gods Blessings to you.
How sad what a joyless life. I find bald men so attractive. Please don’t beat yourself up about hair falling or wear wigs. Glad he embraced the bald. You look incredible without hair. Both of you do
Please tell this guy how great he looks shaved. I'm so happy he was able to get comfortable with himself. I hope he will be able to live his life freely now.
I’ve been married to my gorgeous , bald husband for 25 years. When I met him, his hair was rapidly thinning and it didn’t matter to me one little bit but I know how much he wished it wasn’t happening to him too. What a great video and what a much happier life ahead ( no pun intended)
I had so much anxiety about losing my hair. I still have it, but I'm 31 and it's only a matter of time. Then my girlfriend got cancer, and when she lost her hair from chemo, I shaved mine all off. Kept my beard though. To my surprise, it looked badass. Now I don't fear it. I'll enjoy my hair for now, but if I lose it someday, I know it'll be okay.
its anxiety that doesnt need to exist, the fear is you think people will make you an outcast because of how you look but in reality no one cares except the people who do have issues in their personal lives so why take their opinions to heart?
I did the exact same thing for a client that wanted to pay me to style all his toupee’s I told him that he would look better without it and now he’s so glad I was able to guide him in making the decision. In the end I lost a lot of money from styling his toupees but his happiness is worth every single cent.
Hello. I'm Yasmine in the US. I don't know how this ended in my feed, but I watched it. I even got a little emotional with you. You look amazing!! Refreshed!!! Transformation isn't easy and I can relate. I went from wearing straight and processed hair for years to embracing my afro. It's liberating. Enjoy the journey and the compliments that will come my brother. This was filmed a year ago and I hope he's kept the look. Bald is sexy when well-kept matched with a great cologne.
Honesty I don't know why black women straighten their hair. As a white man, I find black women's hair naturally so much more attractive. I say let your afro out and let it breath! It looks beautiful!
Me either!! I can relate...sorta, lol. I stopped coloring my hair and went from being carded for alcohol regularly to getting asked if I qualified for the senior discount. I kid you not, mere months between events. I WOULD tell this guy he looks great, but he doesn't want to hear from some ancient grey-haired cow like myself. Sometimes we have to take that leap and accept ourselves as we are, knowing not all interactions are perfect, but MOST are certainly more comfortable because we aren't hiding anymore. The power comes from within ourselves. But I'm truly sorry you aren't offered 20% off on Tuesdays for your beautiful natural 'fro. My gf wears her hair natural (and slightly wild) and I can honestly say it's the hottest thing I've ever seen. [People assume I must be very rich when they see me with her, lol!]
this story brought tears to my eyes. I had no idea this was so difficult for so many guys. as a woman, I love guys with a bold head and would always encourage to shave over a a head piece. you sir, have a fantastic head shape, and actually means that you look better without hair than with! trust me, you look really good. once you get some sun on it it will look uniform and like it supposed to. i hope that you feel better by now. good on you! 👍😍👍
Having the hair removed means that all the attention goes to your face - and you have an amazing face. Your eyes and eyebrows are so striking. You look really tough and smart.
Harry you’re such a decent guy, your approach to helping guys with coming to terms with balding is a pleasure to watch. I wish this channel had been around 20 plus years ago when I felt like the only guy going through such an emotional rollercoaster. Keep up the great work.
Dude. I've been watching 80's and 90's shows and thin hair on men was so common and wasn't even a thing. Women on shoes dating their men and they have such thin hair in their heads. Watch Seinfeld for example. And I don't mean George Costanza.
He looks SO much more attractive. Gives him a bit of an edge, too.The sense of humor (putting the wig on his chest and beard) go a long way. So does confidence. I’m happy for him.
A very emotional video. Only those of us who are passing through this we know the insecurity and mental damage it can generate. Not all men are equal and we try to overcome the same situation but differently for all. Harry, what you do are not simply videos, many people we will remember you all our lives for helping us in a situation that can be very complex and difficult
because you are vane and have self esteem issues. that is what you should get help for. instead of spending money on fake hair and whatnot, get therapy. and i don't mean that as an insult. just an observation.

As a woman who refuses to dye my grey hair, I say “Congrats!” You are a good looking man, and you should never feel you have to hide what you look like.
Good for you! It’s crazy really, how we feel the need to cover up and hide these natural processes. Kudos to you for having the balls to accept yourself exactly as you are, a lot of us need a bit more of that strength to say🖕🏼to what everyone else may think! 💗👏🏼
That's awesome!. But if dying your hair makes you feel younger or better about yourself thsts ok too. I'm going for the dye as soon as my roots start showing lol
I get that going gray is mildly similar but not at all the same. Dying your hair is akin to shaving for some. Going bald isn’t usually an easily masked lifestyle choice.
@@SpursFanForLyfe100 Nicole you should try it one year.. stop dying it and rock what you got.. you probably would look great. Just the way God made you. 👊🏻
Thank you for being vulnerable. I lost all my hair at age 4, I remember all of the anxiety and heaviness of always hiding my head at school under my hat and having to defend against bullies taking it etc. I remember in 6th grade making the choice the first day of school to just be like FUCK IT, I’m walking in bald , as me. They won’t have anything on me anymore. And it worked. All through until senior year of high school.
I stumbled upon this video in the middle of the night. As a woman I don’t totally understand this guy’s fears but I appreciate he is upset and has had 20 years of feeling scared to reveal his real hair. However I can’t believe how effing good he looks. Well done lad. Well done.
My first response after all the hair was gone was he looks like the actor Jason Statham! As women, we may not understand how he feels about his hair issue but I’m sure we’ve had some issue in our life that has overwhelmed our thought process for years. It doesn’t have to be a body image. In my case it’s my loud and boisterous voice. I’ve tried to tone it down but I just can’t do it. I would have made a great head cheerleader in school! I can speak to a group of people without using a microphone. And I’m only 4’10” in height and weigh 135 lbs.

When I first met my husband, he use to always wear a baseball cap wherever we go. He was thinning on top and was uncomfortable in public. The great thing about him that attracted me to him wasn't his looks, but his humbleness and awesome personality. Anyway I suggested he shave it all off. He was mad at first but after some years later he let me shave it all off. He had great compliments from his family and friends. Now I have been shaving his head for 18 yrs. We're 25yrs happily married.🥰 "Beauty is within"
I cannot thank you enough for sharing this. My husband has been so nervous to take the plunge and shave his head and seeing this has been massively helpful. Cheers man!
I worked with an older guy who wore a piece. It looked terrible and eventually he broke down and told us he couldn’t afford a new one. We were encouraged that he would even talk about it. Over the course of a few weeks we got him to shave up and get a little sun. When he came back to work clean, people were blown away how much better he looked. He couldn’t thank us enough once he got used to it.
OMG he looked so much better shaved. I was struck by how beautiful his eyes were without that odd hairpiece getting in the way. I know it must be traumatic losing your hair so I'm not down-playing it, but he's so much better off shaving the hair off. Really well done.
Oh man, I'm starting to loose it since being 25 and the fact we're "still young" puts some additional emotions on it, specially when you see all youngsters with great healthy hair. I hope to gain back my confidence as you did

What a fantastic decision he made! He looks amazing; and can we talk about his beautiful eyes! I can only imagine how difficult it was to do,but you have wonderful friends who supported you every step of the way( I included the guy videoing your transformation). Much love to all.

Being a bald man myself, since 21 I can understand completely how this was an emotional experience. You’re very brave to share this and it will help so many men I am sure. Congratulations on stepping into you properly and leaving the crutch behind. You look so much better!
The irony of it is of course he now looks a thousand times more presentable, confident and clean...but probably feels the most vulnerable he ever has. Nothing but a cruel trick of the mind, we are our own worst enemies. The shaved head suits you my dude, looks very fresh and presentable! (Still yet to see a single guy on this channel who 'looks worse' after shaving their head. Every single one legit looks so much better/fresher/cleaner and most of all, happier, after doing so)
This realization is what ultimately made me shave it off. After consistently seeing every single dude end up a thousand times more handsome than before I just stopped believing in my own excuses not to shave.
The support he gives him on cutting/shaving his hair is awesome....!!! One day you will look back at this and say. Why the hell did I wear that wig for so many years
I fought my baldness for so long and when I turned 30 I just said fuck it and shaved my head. The first week was strange. I'd pass by a mirror, take a look, a long look, and try to figure out where I existed in the reflection. It didn't make sense. After that week I couldn't care less about it and I look forward to pulling out the ole electric and just buzzing it clean and lathering up my dome with lotion. What surprised me more than anything was how little people actually pay attention to your head. I kept expecting all eyes on my gleaming dome. Never happened.
@@SerlingPictures Felt good didn't it? It did for me, considering I always had my hair buzzed.. But just got to a point and said, the hell with it I'm shaving it all off. Hell women boob's sag in life 😂 imagine how they feel
As a black woman, one of most empowering moments of my life was cutting off all my damaged relaxed uneven hair and going natural and embracing my natural curls. It was like starting over again. Yes, I did face backlash and ridicule because it was not trendy back then when I first did so but everything negative everyone told me would happen like with not being able to land a job or no one wanting to date because I would be bald headed and look like a man never came to pass. Because I was still able to land jobs and the dating experience was better. So now, my mentality is it's only hair. It may grow back. It may not grow back. But like that Indie Arie song, I am not my hair. I am the soul which lies underneath.
Good for you! I also grew up in the times in which is men were not supposed to perceive bald women as pretty. But then I realized that many women look amazing bald because you really get to notice their beautiful facial features.
Great story and more power to you, but since you're a woman, I'm just wondering, how the heck did video appear to you on your video suggestion! lol UA-cam is doing some crazy shit!! lol
I’m not just saying it, you look soooooo much better with the hair gone !! You have a good shaped head , and great facial features!!! Be happy and enjoy.
Thank you for sharing your story. It’s clear to see how devastating this has been on you. I wish you all the best going forward, nothing can hold you back now. On a side note, all three of you in this video make bald look sexy. Live your life and be happy.
His head shape is PERFECT, he looks amazing bald. Two of the hottest guys I ever dated were bald, and when first saw them it didn’t even occur to me that they were bald because all I noticed were their beautiful faces. I hope this handsome guy can finally live the life he wants now that he can be himself without all the anxiety-best wishes to him.
Honestly he looks great clean cut i felt so bad when he started to cry it really sucks having to accept the innevitable sometimes but i bet he's doing great now and is feeling great not having to worry about having to do and say certain things to ignore it congrats bud you look great 💪🏼
Best thing about being bald. 1. you stop stressing about hair. 2. you will save a lot of money from hair products, medicines and barbers 2. no more bad hairdays. 3. you will look maybe 10 years older in your twenties. But 10 years younger after your fifties 4. You will age slowly from then. 5. You look like a real man. You just need the convindence and beard. Accept it and move on. 💪
doesnt mean that it fits everyone. There are men who look good bald but there are also men also who doesn’t want to go bald because they don‘t look good with a fully shaven head. It depends on your head shape.
@@dchico3471 right thats what the main issue is if you have a big head the last thing you want to do is shave it but if you have no choice than there's nothing you can do.you can try hair transplant but even with that it's not going to work a hundred percent not for everybody.still going to look partially bald with a hair transplant.Im going through it and I can tell you I'm about to lose my relationship for 5 years because of this because I know I don't have the head shape for a bald head.
@@tankwilliamson1903 Says you! But remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You’re probably your own worst enemy. Shave the head. Grow a beard. Be confident…that’s the sexiest thing of all. Believe me. Tom Hardy is not the most handsome of men, but his confidence is through the roof…and my friends & I can’t get enough of him. Women care more about a healthy man, than one with hair. Started watching Baldcafe a couple months ago, known for a few years hair was reciding, wasn’t an issue as hairs always been long on top but decided needed to get a shorter cut to see what I’m dealing with and realised how much thinning is happening , not ready to shave it all off yet but screw tablets, systems, surgery! Thanks Baldcafe and the submitters for normalising going bald !

I just lost my hair to chemo a few days ago. I understand the trauma, believe me. I honestly think he looks fantastic!! I love it!!
I wish you well on your recovery
Sorry to hear about that, wishing you a speedy recovery and a long and healthy life! Your hair will grow back and is only temporary , most women keep their hair for life so count yourself lucky! but most men don't keep their hair, only a small minority of men can keep a full head of hair to old age. It is all the more tragic when men lose it at a young age In the 20s and early 30s.
All the best with your chemo and recovery.

All the best for you from somebody who recovered from Breastcancer twice.

This honestly brought out his features. I know it is overwhelming and that he had to have a drink to take the edge off, but sincerely I think he looks better. He is mature looking enough to completely pull it off!

As a woman who went through a period of losing a lot of my hair seemingly with no clear fix (I reversed it in the end) and having her whole life taken over by it, I understand the struggle. Much strength to you all going through this.
How did you rewerse it, and how old were you?
@@sunshinedrops1486 I was 28. I'm using a product called eucapil. I don't know whether it'll work for more severe cases of hairloss tho. My diagnosis were different depending on the specialist so if I have aga, it isn't very aggressive and perhaps that's why both that product + managing stress worked for me. But it might be worth giving it a try.
@Yo S.
This video is not about baldness. It's about friendship.
...and gaining confidence...
I started losing my hair at 14, and it was already noticeable by 17. I just accepted that it's who I am, and it's never been an issue for me since. I hope this dude can find the same kind of peace.

As a bald woman I can tell you that embracing who you truly are in this way is one of the bravest things a person can do. I’m proud of this man.
@Fabian Kirchgessner Why would you suggest that, strongly or even at all? To what avail?
@Fabian Kirchgessner there are men who behave the way you described. They’re called @ssholes. And you are obviously are their leader.
This is about developing a relationship with yourself. Self acceptance. A woman doesn't always have to move through this world thinkng about who finds her attractive. Do you think it is possible for you to understand that? Or is it game over for you in the thought department?
@@carlac9782 perfect!!

We are instruments of our own destiny and future, and no one need not feel ashamed or embarrassed losing hair, never ever feel down just rock the look you have
Most women I know find men with no hair pretty sexy.
I feel so afraid exactly for this reason, always in my mind: "what girl would love me like that"
I have asked my gf if she would still love me with no hair, and she always tells me: "I don't care about it, your hair is not the reason why I fell in love with you"
I guess the only one who would need to love me is myself

I’ve been married to my gorgeous , bald husband for 25 years. When I met him, his hair was rapidly thinning and it didn’t matter to me one little bit but I know how much he wished it wasn’t happening to him too. What a great video and what a much happier life ahead ( no pun intended)
It causes so many people anxiety that others are unaware of. As it stands he looks incredible with it shaved off.
I had no idea this was so big for some dudes.
@@LeroOfTheKodiak what a fabulous attitude you have. Very best wishes to you and hope all is well with you. 💝
@@minihoney13 besides the grief of loss, I've been alright, thank you.
its anxiety that doesnt need to exist, the fear is you think people will make you an outcast because of how you look but in reality no one cares except the people who do have issues in their personal lives so why take their opinions to heart?
100%! he looks wow with his looks and eyes now.
Yes love his eyebrows!
Harry you’re such a decent guy, your approach to helping guys with coming to terms with balding is a pleasure to watch.
I wish this channel had been around 20 plus years ago when I felt like the only guy going through such an emotional rollercoaster. Keep up the great work.

He looks much better without hair. Shaved head is a great look for him. Men are lucky because they have that option. Women are expected to wear wigs.
@@mbd6054 So true.
This guy is an absolute king. Why isn’t balding normalized it’s insane that it’s something that gets ridiculed when it’s the natural aging process.
Dude. I've been watching 80's and 90's shows and thin hair on men was so common and wasn't even a thing. Women on shoes dating their men and they have such thin hair in their heads. Watch Seinfeld for example. And I don't mean George Costanza.
look at Bill Murry or Chevy Chase because I don't remember it ever being brought up that their hair was pretty much gone.
He looks SO much more attractive. Gives him a bit of an edge, too.The sense of humor (putting the wig on his chest and beard) go a long way. So does confidence. I’m happy for him.
Shelly. Your a drug addict right. Stop being nice and tell the truth, he head is poorly shaped. Get the wig, boy
That’s beautiful! I second that.
most people see it as something simple but for those of us who have gone through the process of baldness and coming to accept it is very difficult
because you are vane and have self esteem issues. that is what you should get help for. instead of spending money on fake hair and whatnot, get therapy. and i don't mean that as an insult. just an observation.
I’m going bald and couldn’t give a fuck. I have food in the fridge, a roof over my head and air in my lungs. Life is good!

I said I would never dye my hair untill I ended up having way more gray hair than my mom. I’m 42 & have grey like a 80yr old.

We're 25yrs happily married.🥰

I cannot thank you enough for sharing this. My husband has been so nervous to take the plunge and shave his head and seeing this has been massively helpful. Cheers man!
He genuinely looks great with a shaved head ❤️ and I love seeing the support and encouragement given by friends!
Good on you mate you took that step and now you can really live so happy for you💗☺️
What a lovely, handsome man. It's heartbreaking to me, the anxiety he went through.
This made me really happy, that you encouraged him in a positive way. You’re a good friend.
OMG he looked so much better shaved. I was struck by how beautiful his eyes were without that odd hairpiece getting in the way. I know it must be traumatic losing your hair so I'm not down-playing it, but he's so much better off shaving the hair off. Really well done.
Got more women after I lost my hair. Killed me to know I was going bald at 19. It’s not the hair but the confidence!
As a woman I approve this message. It's the confidence 100% for me
It's not just the confidence, many women do prefer men with a shaved head.
Oh man, I'm starting to loose it since being 25 and the fact we're "still young" puts some additional emotions on it, specially when you see all youngsters with great healthy hair.
I hope to gain back my confidence as you did
Its your face not the confidence. They find you attractive and that's it, if you dont look good with hair you wont look good without it.

Major props to you for seeing the real you, it's a hard enough thing for us to go through as it is. For what it's worth, you look WAY better! You're a very handsome man, embrace it!
Being a bald man myself, since 21 I can understand completely how this was an emotional experience. You’re very brave to share this and it will help so many men I am sure. Congratulations on stepping into you properly and leaving the crutch behind. You look so much better!
The new look is hip, cool and current. Goes well with his great facial features.
Wow what a transformation! All I notice are his eyes now. Very handsome!!!
The support he gives him on cutting/shaving his hair is awesome....!!! One day you will look back at this and say. Why the hell did I wear that wig for so many years
A top man
I fought my baldness for so long and when I turned 30 I just said fuck it and shaved my head.

Ran into this video by accident and watched the entire video. What a lucky guy to have such supportive friends. Well done my friend, you look great!
I love afros all.my mates had them in the 70s beautiful....but me being white could never have one🙏

Best thing about being bald.
1. you stop stressing about hair.
2. you will save a lot of money from hair products, medicines and barbers
2. no more bad hairdays.
3. you will look maybe 10 years older in your twenties. But 10 years younger after your fifties
