Unfortunately, it seems that terminator armor is mostly used to demonstrate how powerful the monsters are. If you see a marine in terminator armor in a cutscene, he's probably gonna die quickly.
Considering every fckin thing they face I'd say that's accurate , aside from orks everything can relatively one shot a terminator.

@AP Flood they are, and they are typically at least a better fighter than their opponents, but unfortunately, daemons and tyranids are very strong, and some opponents have unnatural healing capabilities

The dialogue is pretty bad.
These are supersoldiers with decades, if not centuries of experience working within their squads, absolute professionals. The squad commander isn't going to be issuing the sort of orders you'd give a day 1 recruit.
They'd likely be able to operate as a squad without a word said between them for weeks. That's how in-sync and tuned in they should be.
Think the Astartes videos. Not a word said between them, they carry out their mission with speed, precision, and efficiency. That's what Space Marines do.
That would be boring af to witness. It is a video game
@@blackturtlesoul7387 If they want dialogue there's alot more dialogue that could be written but written well.
The space marines could be discussing the situation, they could be shooting the shit, they could be chatting about chapter drama (and yes, there is drama within space marine chapters).
They could discuss anything other than basic soldiering that a space marine would have practically ingrained in their DNA and honed over decades of practice and battles.
The dialogue in this video doesn't really align with Warhammer lore, which is pretty standard for the Warhammer games, because they never seem to nail down the lore and the universe well. That's why we haven't seen many good Warhammer video games.
Go watch a cutscene from Necromunda Underhive Wars. This is Shakespeare in comparison.
Maybe send more than about 5 at a time to beat them……just an idea.
Send in a whole army of them who overwhelm them.

if a real film should come up to 40k, then please be animated like the trailer for the 9th or 10th edition. Whereby in terms of animation I liked the trailer from the 9th better. if I think about it carefully, the trailer for Space Marines 2 is also really well done.

why in every depiction of the warhammer 40k franchise, every mighty warrior in the biggest, thoughest armor always have the head exposed? why nobody wears a helmet? they are supposed to have helmets. this hurts my ability to take those scenes seriously.
To be fair to 40k specifically Astartes are able to survive and walk around completely with most of their face blown off so I imagine most of them just don't care.
If we look at the table top standpoint, I think the head expose originally was to show the "uniqueness" of that figure as a "Hero character" so thus will have higher stats compared to the helmet wearing figures. The lore about them not wearing a helmet came later to show their bravery or something to inspire his men even if it leave their head and face exposed.
It's for the "protagonists" or important character, like gears of war

I still don’t get it after all this time how these gene stealers can dodge bullets. It doesn’t make sense.they can’t move that fast🤷♀️🤷♀️ unless they can move like the flash or superman, or they actually move before the trigger is pulled🤷♀️
Also I have a problem with gene stealers and tryranids cutting thru, or pulling apart space marine armour. Physically it doesn’t make sense. Even the sharpest non powered sword should be able to penetrate unless there momentum behind it (more so blinding speed) to increase the force.
Did they just walk straight past a room with an open door, with Genestealers in it, and just keep moving. Emporers finest hey?

Marines without helmets on always bug me. What use are 5 inch of ceramite all over your body if a single headshot by a 9mm will wipe you out?

got to wander what the point of terminators are for space hulk fighting - maybe more mobility and better smaller weapons like plasma guns/pistols and such things?
They can immediately breach bulkheads, and they can pack tremendous firepower into a smallish package. Mobility accounts for absolutely nothing in the EXTREMELY cramped quarters of a space hulk. They can bring devastating weapons and have one hand free to wield vicious melee weapons like lightning claws, huge power weapons, massive thunderhammers, etc. Chainfists double as effective weapons AND excellent ways to carve your way through the ubiquitous deck plates and bulkheads. Terminator Librarians can unleash absolute hell in the tight corridors of a space hulk.
Furthermore, you NEED the big guns in a space hulk. They’re full off Tyranid hordes of which goddamn _Genestealers_ are the most basic enemy and you’ll regularly encounter hive tyrants. Other hulks are full off demons, all the way up to and including powerful greater demons like bloodthirsters and lords of change. Those plasma destroyers and assault cannons and heavy flamers and other massive Terminator weapons are the only things that will dent 75% of the things you’ll find in a Space Hulk.
When it comes to Space Hulks regular marines only cut the mustard when you deploy them in full company strength with Centurion support. Space Hulks are so unfathomably dangerous they make space marines feel as vulnerable as a flak armored Guardsmen and they die just as fast. Terminators are your very best option.

Wait this is so cool, I just watched the gameplay and this game looked legit, not one of those low budget throwaways that GW always do all the time. Why didnt it get a sequel? Is this another DoW and Battlefleet Gothic thing again where they dont get enough return so GW just abandon the entire franchise?
