Wall papering the NEW house (120 year old period house)

- I've waited a long time to start this project! We didn't do it the first time around because the cost of the labor and the wallpaper was too much so I knew the only way I could make this work would be to learn how to do the wallpapering myself. Let me know how you think I did! and if I should move onto the rest of the house!

I personally prefer the pop of colour of the paint rather than the wall paper it’s a bit too classic for me and I personally think there’s enough grey in your house already lol 🙈😂
Well done, just 2 notes to consider: 1. Not priming your walls made the wallpaper appear darker because the dark blue under paint, and 2. You should have filled your holes first as leaving the gaps can cause issues with time. With that, I think you did an amazing job!

Looks great! Tip for wallpapering, do it in row instead of sections, that way everything lines up and you won’t get wider lines. ( my ocd noticed the door and another section ) 😊 Great job on your first try!

Amazing color. Matches the entire house.
You should do the bedrooms so the kids can start enjoying their remodeled rooms.
After that do the kitchen where the fireplace is. That wall is so large and needs some texture and pattern.
Keep everything simple. No crazy patterns.

She's done it before! Obviously her parents don't mind it. Mine would have gone ballistic if I tried something like that. It is sad. She is very disrespectful and it will only get worse as they don't correct her apparently.
@@irisf.9355 or maybe they do correct them but not on camera. they have said many times that they don't vlog the moments when they discipline their kids so you only see a small part of their lives.
Def seeing a bit more of how the kids really are. It is a little surprising tbh.

I am not a fan of the wallpaper as I like colour in my walls. But as long as you’re happy then that’s ok. Emilia with her middle finger I didn’t know what that meant when I was her age. I think you guys are being a bit too loose with the swearing rules as what if she does that at school. I get it that you do have some boundaries but why laugh when she did that. I would be offended. Alessia and Andrea are just the cutest ❤

The dark blue was so nice though. It looked more high tech with the dark color.
Darkness can be depressing long term and Jonathan obviously struggles with mental health. So the lighter change might be helpful in that regard. Not saying the blue wasn't lovely, but maybe not the long term impact of sitting in the dark.

I’ve noticed this a few of your recent videos now but when Jonathan is speaking to Edie he has started referring to her as buddy. Is Edie okay with this nickname?
He's always called Edie 'buddy', that's not a new thing. My dad calls me and my daughter 'mate' which is so nice 🙂
He actually addressed this in a previous video Edie is totally cool with being called Buddy.
