  • A great mix of inexperience, bots, and good luck, along with some cool blizzards, makes for the best meta Europe Advanced Caps game I've played on RISK: Global Domination in a very long time. Not much strategy here, but a WHOLE lot of fun! Enjoy!

I haven’t finished your video, but I’m currently a GM. I would have made your exact first turn play how you did it (troop placement and pathing). BUT you should definitely use your slider. It wasn’t a guaranteed take as is. You could have taken it with a bit more safety by sliding. Well done on a creative play though! Looking forward to watching the rest of the video!

Turn 2, I don’t think I would have broken black. I think you risk both black and yellow taking your move as aggressive towards them. (It was towards black for sure). I think I like hitting yellow in the bonus you thought he had (taking that bonus). I can’t remember how many troops you had, but if you had enough, you also start steam rolling into Russia the same turn, clearing yellow out there. Try not to make two enemies at the same time. - I’m not surprised black broke you afterwards. He slowed you down quite a bit.

Finished watching. Fun game! I’m glad you gave green second. I was really thinking it was a safe second place to give. They deserved it for hanging around.

    Looked like fun.
It seems you just throw troops around without much forethought. You hold a big bonus, then make an enemy by attacking and breaking black, without protecting your bonus. (Could have left that 3 stack protecting instead of back to cap.) Then he breaks you and you go after someone else, again not protecting your bonus. Lucky black didn’t break you again.
Just seemed like a haphazard stumble into victory.
If you do have some sort of strategy, you aren’t sharing it with the viewers!

No, that's a good point. Good neighbor has become much more popular on these settings of late. It might've been fine. I was just thinking, given my positioning, it was better not to let anyone else get established. I obviously made it more difficult for myself than it had to be, but it worked out, luckily.

@@ryanalanscott you were definitely in a great position to push your advantage and not let anyone else get established. You just didn’t do anything to protect your bonuses when you did it, and you only hit him once then fist bumped without protecting your bonuses again.
