Yeah, I'm still here as well. This lineup (Kendra + Meagan) of Lemolo had a richer vibe, and their compositions were really thought provoking, IMO. I sadly don't feel the same with the new songs, after the break up. Well, at least we have this little piece of the past to rewatch and relistening to.
I think this music is beautiful and soothing. not to mention it's quite inspiring too... I'd say it's all in your perception. however; I do feel sorry for you if you can only see this as "depressing shit" - I'd try and be more open minded if I were you. also depressing is an essential emotion to experience, and learn to nurture.
Interesting combo. Would not call them a band. Wondered how drummer stayed within the songs because of all the electronic manipulations (multi-tasking) she was having to do. Then they talked about 95 takes for a vocal section on one cut when making their album! They are literally in a "groove" with their music! Is there room for the spontaneous here? Yes, drummer is strange to watch in this performance. Her undulations are above the output and overall energy of this music for me, the "watcher".
Would enjoy this video a lot more if the drummer/keyboardist was less wriggling around like a slimy fish, would be more fitting in a British cult comedy.
When it comes to the music, it's pretty nice, but deffinitely not something absolutely incredible in my opinion... When it comes to the people playing it, the singer is ok, but the drummer is super annoying, I don't know why, but I just can't look at her...
