Beautiful. A client who was incarcerated with this man, told me about him and what an inspiration this man was to him.

I decided to read your book because my positive outlook on people was slipping and I needed to be reaffirmed in my belief that people are good at heart, so thank you for that

Judgment is the fruit that Adam and Eve ate in the Garden of Eden. Forgiveness is spitting that fruit back out and grace is leaving it on the tree, or reserving judgment, or at lease reserving the attachment to it. Mercy is a suspended sentence. Redeem means to pay back or conform.

What a great testimony. Especially the part where education and the importance of literature are concerned. The bible says in John 1 "1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it. What a great confirmation of this you have given us. I have been a volunteer in the Michigan prison system for over 30 years doing weekends to bring the hope and joy to the inmates and your testimony confirmed the need for that, although I have seen it on every weekend. Thank you for caring.

People are beautiful. I wish everyone would start to listen to people’s stories. This & that we could be free to tell our stories sheltered from the shame the world has cast on us. Thank you for sharing

Keep in mind, thoughout this talk, there is one man missing today from the face of the earth because of the actions of this person. His debt will never be paid in full, but he is trying.

I just heard about this man on NPR, so im not sure whether he said it there or here... but I know it was said that has made peace with the victims godmother, but has not come into contact with the victims kids. He is definitely doing his best to stop others from making the same mistake :]
