As someone who's only been playing for 2 months, this is doubly funny: it's word for word so real, seen it so many times in draft. Doubly funny because I laughed at my own stupidity also as a noob, believing them for the first month without even knowing it's a meme. 😅
@@breadngravy3860 Literally yesterday I supped for a Yasuo adc with 0.5 million mastery points. Fed most of game (granted, lack of kills was somewhat due to my Pyke ult), went in 1v4 and then complained because he didn't realize everyone else had retreated with minimal health/mana, and kept repeating he's useless because the actual carry didn't cooperate with him.
Just, crap, I'm not gonna trust even a 10 million mastery Yasuo in my team now.

So here a tip for newer people wanting to easily counter yasuo. Once you see yasuo is selected on the enemy team, your gonna want to change up a few things. Basically what you do is click the "X" on the top right of your screen and dodge the match.

Its annoying when people keep saying that if you hate yasuo then you must be bronze or silver. I would like to see his ultimate not work unless he hits a tornado, that would make him feel much more fair;Right now he can ult you from 3000ish units away from his teammates possibly un-counterable knockup and depending on your champ once he gets that close its game over...

TheWeeaboo azir main here actually Azirs Laning is great if you know what you’re doing I can agree he is pretty unreliable before 3 items but putting time and effort into azir is definitely worth it if you learn how to position in teamfights and when to all in / shuffle your opponents

the reason that people feel like their yasuo always ints and the enemy yasuo always carries is the combination of humans precieving negative things alot more than positive things and yasuo being a very snowbally but also useless when behind champion

Benjamin Buljevic This is mostly because of feast or famine champions. Champs like Shaco, Draven and Rengar for example. If these champs are behind they are completely useless. They rely on snowballing and if they don't snowball they are gonna have a hard time being usefull at all.
While what you're saying is true, Riot has shown that they don't like this kind of playstyle in champs. My main example is how pre-rework Talon had this exact same problem. Consider that they did a rework on him to get rid of this playstyle.
Yasuo, Zed, Riven and Lee Sin players are usually occupied by players in ranked who are flamers and always expect to get fed during laning phase otherwise they bitch, moan, and then feed. Their skillsets are cancer and the players who play them are dickheads too.
well this is what exactly lowly born mammal do when they follow their instinct rather than logic and reasoning.

Well autoattack him. Windwall has a huge CD so he cannot use it to stop your harass. And when he wants to attack he has to tank all of your minions. Never had a problem laning against Yasuo.
@Sharky Shark There are many characters that punish that. Mages deal no damage to tanks, get easily countered by Divers (J4, Zac, etcs) and also heavily countered by assassins. That's already 3 classes that counter Mages. Is that not enough for you=?

Well just dealing 200 damage for an ult wouldn't an ult. Q does more dmg then ult so it makes sense that after ulting yasuo becomes "op" otherwise Last Breath would be useless. Think about that.

Yeah, the shield is just one let's call hardly balanceable skill he has, but the thing I really don't understand is that he has no mana and LOW COOLDOWN on his abilities. Like all other no mana champs has some form of limitation, either it being higher cds, or energy, or skills costing health, etc. I never understood this decision...
@@petrohex i think shield and windwall are the only think strong on him, but you can deactivate his shield with an aa and his windwall has very long cooldown, once he uses it you can abuse him and he can't farm. His q without tornado would be useless as it's just an extended "skillshot" aa and his ult doesn't deal that much dmg but let's him have a chance at tanks and can use it as an engage.
Yasuo without enemy minions isn't very strong, he can't charge q and he can't dash, once he uses windwall he's dead and has no escapss. Lvl1 he isn't that strong if you stay out of his q range and he's easily kitable. He gets a big power spike when he has as boots, statik/phantom and IE. But he's still squishy as hell, he gets cc'd and he's dead

Teemo was never really hated, he was a meme. He only really countered 1 champion in top and that was Garen.
Fizz, Vayne and Riven were the actual hated champions due to the same people that played them currently also play yasuo so you've a 50/50 chance of them either feeding and going 0/10 or rolling a game
@@Gatrax Nah, no one tops yasuo, not even close, not even all of them combined. Cos yasuo can go in every lane. Almost every blind pick normal has a yasuo or even two no matter your ranking. If he isn't overpowered, the fact he is so over picked makes the entire game boring as hell. Also he's a huge brick wall for lower skilled player wanting to pick up a conventional mage. But teemo zed or pantheon are not like that, has multiple weakness. Yasuo only weakness is lack of wave clear.

That reminds me of my good times with Yasuo.
I played Yasuo midlane, and i got nice ganks from my Jungler and Support.
Except they stole all my Kills only then to later blame me for not having Kills.

My problem with yasuo is that he just does too much. Super strong laning phase with passive and mobility. I can deal with that tho, I'll just play someone strong early, but nah that's also a bad idea because of his double crit passive and q being on hit, meaning he heals from it off normal lifedrain. Yasuo is one of the few champs that can be said to be perfect if played properly
wiko660 windwall has 25 sec cd, ult does 400 dmg at lvl 3. Yasuo is melee so he is more basic attack champ then ability striker. High elo players know how to play against him, players with no brain will always stuck to losing lane against yasuo. Its funny how the higher the elo, the lower the win rate 😂

Honestly what I hate most about him is the CD on his dash being on each seperate minion/champion as it ends up making him feel very low risk high reward as he can dash in try to kill you and if things don't go well just dash out again with ease, and on top of that he has the wind wall he can throw up behind himself to ensure no stun chases him out.
Yeah they should make dashing cost his "flow" so that he has to move around normally in order to dash around. So that he sacrifices his shield for mobility.
thing is if he doesnt kill you at first attempt he pushes the lane. problem is many midlaners in low elo dont really care about laning and jgl. its so simple to counterplay yasuo if you manage to freeze and wait jungler. you just cant see die few minions without getting single coin out of it
Give yasuo mana, so that this piece of shit would be balanced. This shit literally has such low cd, spam so much abilities, and doesnt get punished because of sheild passive

if you give yasuo an energy cap it would become useless, in teamfights he would run out of energy in 3 dashes and you wouldn't even do a kill

@@moanguspickard249 with energy he could get a couple of Qs maybe a dash and thats it. His Qs barely do more damage than an aa. He would be rendered useless, immobile with no dmg. Zed has more escapes and can burst enemies. Without energy he would be bursting all the time. I kinda main yasuo but i still destroyed many lvl7 yas mains with zed despite being a counter pick because i know his weaknesses and you should too

The sense of balance is more important than actual balance.
Whatever yasou’s state of balance is, he always feels OP, simply due to how much free shit he has in his kit.
No spell resource, short CD, double crit, almost infinite mobility, free shield, aoe CC, and a wall that blocks even lock on projectiles.
Regardless of how riot tweaks his numbers, he will always feel op.
People hated teemo not because of how good of a champion he is, he was never THAT strong. You never see an out of control teemo the way you do other hyper carries. But he feels cheap. It feels cheap to be killed by a shroom, or not being able to kill him due to blind.
Yasou is the same. It always feels like whoever playing yasou has an unfair advantage, because his kit is overloaded enough to be shared among 2 complete champions.

Free shield can be deal with if it is what it should be : something that cool to have in addition to the real passive (double crit) and give like 10/100 shield (not 100/510). The problem with this insane shield is low level it's better than any poke mid laner mage could try to harass him with , mid game if you can get it and refresh once you gain insane survivability to engage and late game you gain +1020 hp if you refresh it only once ...
Wind wall should be a once counter and disapear as soon as it has taken a spell or an auto (and maybe more than one with level) or having a somewhat big incantation time that way it won't feel as unfair that your veig ult has just been denyed (the guy had to time it right). This would destroy the stupid yasuo cheesing INSIDE his windwall almost invincible because it just delete spells and auto.
Mobility is unfair but it DOES require a bit of position and skill so i don't know . Having his free reward for no effort remove could be enough to have him not being first ban just behind new champ (wich will always be first ban because power creep and people not knowing the champ yet)

As a Karthus main, Yasuo has always just been another assassin to me. The difference is that I actually think that he's fun to play as and in the current patch, fun to play against. His dash being a set distance means that I can land Qs on him by reading where he will go. He can't block any of Karthus's abilities and can't stay in melee range without getting punished hard for it, so it's definitely not as hard as other mages, but I've found that it's a pretty fair matchup.

But unlike Azir, they can't just nerf him into the ground while they think of something. The death of popular games comes by systemically pissing off and alienating blocs of your playerbase, and unfortunately for Riot and the rest of us, the "Yasuo Main" Bloc is an absolutely huge amount of players. The salt would be unending, and many, many, players would leave the game.

Actually the best Yasuo is an unknown player called "Ringelking". He reached Rank 1 on EUW server few seasons ago. He was known for his passive and safe gameplay until 2 items, then 1v9 monster. He was a Toplane main.

Im too old now. The last time i play League is when Yasuo was the latest hero release. Still remember those year that they keep adding champs for like every few weeks/months. Its hard to choose a main.

I've noticed the opposite. I find that when they are mastery 7, they have nothing left to prove and run it down until he's at least 0/10. But when they have nothing, they do the best because they play safe when they need to
I recently was in a match with a M7 yasuo with 261k points. He knew what he was doing. He wasn't toxic. But the enemy Yuumi carried them to victory.

Honestly, yasuo is always a insta ban for me unless someone on my team wants to play him (Playing as Lux or not). To be frank, I don't care if yasuo players just complain about him getting nerfed into the ground, just keep six feet under the ground. But that is just me.
When i was boosting a friend so we could play duo, i played lux vs yasuo.... it was the easiest game of my life (some high iron)

Yas is not op anymore but I can't stop hating him for his 2 broken mechanics :
1) he gets crit chance for free which is one of the most expensive stats in the game and that makes him deal 4 items adc dmg with only 2 items (and I don't think this is OK)
2) as a ADC/mage midlane player i mostly use characters with projectiles so yeah, a basic ability that just denies everything I can use is annoying.
Other than that he is pretty OK I guess
I think his double crit isn't the problem. It is way more the Insane big hitbox on his Q and the duration of the Windwall and the instant cast of it which screws up most could be skill matchups.

Honestly, those two aspects are not a problem to me, if he could be fought against fairly. The second part of his passive to me is the biggest problem. Not only does he not use a resource, which has been one of the most nonsensical elements of any champion since this game's release, he also gets a free goddamn shield that blocks almost everything that isn't CC by just moving around.
Why a champion that can already dodge everything in lane needs a shield, i have no idea. But Riot loves overloading kits just to make their weeb champs look cool.

Yeah, but a squishy melee ADC is a lot more prone to CC than a 4k HP tank. Stunning Yasuo is almost always instadeath. Stunning Maokai... results in him losing 2 HP?
Again, if Maokai or other tanks are camped, they can still provide a TON of peel for their carries because CC doesn't get effected by gold. However, Yasuo's main contribution is damage, and without gold, he can't bring damage.

I don't get why if anyone's playing yasuo mid and he has some sort of trouble in lane and loosing it, he gets the brunt of the flame even though there's a 1/19/0 vayne at top lane
In one of my last games I went 1/5 in mid but my team completly flamed our 2/4 yasuo toplane who got camped alot and later on carried our game.

Zoe is nowhere near as good as yasuo. She can kill 1 target at a time with setup while yasuo can fight 3 people at the same time. She got nerfed so hard she isnt even worth playing now ( I havent played since january so I dont know if she got buffed or not recently ).

Some random can't just pick him up day 1 and 1v9. You have to intelligently use your dashes so that you have a way out. You have to master animation canceling. You can't waste your wind wall. You fuck up any of these, you die. He needs setup. If you just yeet in and try dashing around, you get exploded.
@@coleharris1945 Yeah sure buddy, are you talking about Master elo where game knowledge > mechanics? Because in any other lower division the skill gap is quite huge between players. Laning phase isnt played strategically in that elo and the lane is won by however has the better mechanics. Yasuo is really strong in that aspect, he has a very strong level 2 compared to other mid laners.
In high elo mid is basically 2 vs 2 with the junglers so yeah yasuo isnt quite op there since they play strategy and he cant use his op kit to snowball like in low elo.
