Alpine A110S - Spa Francorchamps - 2min50

20/03 trackday @ Spa Francorchamps with circuit-days.co.uk
Alpine A110 S on stock PS4 tires.
Only mods are DS3.12 brake pads and Raeder Motorsport alignment.
First time at Spa with still a lot to learn. Camera died early in the afternoon but these were around 2min50, with second lap a 49 in the making but had to slow down.

I’m taking a GoPro to spa in mine. Rigged up a usb cable from the lighter socket (and a huge memory card) to keep it rolling all day. Great driving. Looking forward to my trip…

Why not use Track mode? You're on a race track.

I never use trackmode. Don't like the violent shifting (and makes me feel sorry for all the mounts and drivetrain components). I do drive with TC/ESP fully off however.

@@avantus Personally I get annoyed with Sport mode because the car will sometimes change gears when i don't want to and only track mode removes that possibility

@@samszulman7851 agreed. Sport it useless as it won't let you get near the rev limiter and will autoshift

@@avantus I feel the same about track mode... stupid violent shifting for not any gain
