I use the Shadowcast 2 a usb dock and a large battery bank as my mobile capture case. Works great.

The shadowcast looks amazing for a sec I thought you'd tell us to modify our switch to get that casting ability 🤣
This can be very useful to me to record footage, I’d like a similar one for the PS Vita too because the way I do to capture Vita footage isn’t ideal.
Yeah the latency is a bummer sadly. For fast paced games or plataformers it's a no go. Not bad for 50 bucks but just get a portable monitor and connect via HDMI.
Finally the switch on the go
This will be great and solve all the issues I currently have because when I want to capture things for my switch currently I just have to use the built-in video capture feature within the switch itself which is not ideal.
What's the Background music? Anyone?
You said the $50 ShadowCast 2 adds about 66ms of delay to the image output. It would've been nice if you mentioned wether the delay is as high on the $150 ShadowCast 2 Pro.
Maybe you could do a video on hdmi splitters, as $50 + the price of an hdmi splitter could be a really nice entry point to capturing footage from the NS or any other device. That way you could avoid the high delay if you find a decent hdmi splitter and still be capturing for cheap
So I read a review you can use this to stream on the quest 3 ... I want to play my switch in my quest 3 but wirelessly via the immersed app on Mac and quest ... stream the whole process from a MacBook air 2 ... What are your thoughts? It's 40 dollars off on Amazon right now 120 usd... Should I pull the trigger
Uploading this on Black Friday is sort of odd to me as the regular Shadowcast is/was on sale for just $30 today on their own website as well as Amazon. Woulda been nice to tell the viewers that, lol.
If advise getting a cheap capture card instead . I had a lot of technical issues and Genki support was slow with days to a week between responses. Ultimately they told me to figure it out on my own , saying it wasn't compatible with my laptop. They don't do refunds

My use-case is kind of strange for this. I'll ocasionally use it for switch games and the like, I'll usually throw FSR on there on the PC side so it looks better on my 1440p monitor. But my primary use is to play Bloodborne. I have a setup where I use Lossless Scaling (Steam App that's very interesting) to upscale the stream to 1440p and give it some nice built-in anti-aliasing with that, and Lossless Scaling also gives it the visual effect of being 60 fps. It really feels like a PS5 patch, plus I get to play on PC. Win-win.
How well would this work using it to capture PlayStation 3 or other consoles like 3DS that don’t support gamestreaming natively? If that were possible with this that would be a game changer. Let alone on a Galaxy Tab.
3ds would never work because it doesn't have an hdmi port.

Why dont you just play it... on your switch?
Docked mode so higher resolution and unless you own the OLED Switch, the screen is much better.
Bigger screen without the hassle of a monitor maybe

With this I can now play my Switch Cloud Version games in much worser quality and increase input delays MWAHAHAHAHA!
I even did a No Meds playthrough on Resident Evil 2 Remake on Hardcore difficulty for the lols, I had to off screen camera record it during discord stream.
Cool tech, but this feels like it's better for anything other than a Switch (the one console that has a screen). I can see this being better for something like the Xbox Series S since it's so small.

Why cant someone just make a software that emulates the switch dock board and connect the switch with a type c cable directly allowing charging from the laptop and untethering from a wall plug
