The best thing about plame crashes is how they all lead to real improvements in design and procedure. Most of the big commercial crashes were long ago.
Losing a rudder or stalling at high altitude can mean that you will basically be thrown around for minutes before finally crashing to the ground. Maybe you look out the window and see the whole world tumbling. Maybe there's a big whole in the fuselage, which adds even more terror. These kinds of crashes must be very violent and chaotic. Like being in a fox hole during an artillery barrage.

TAM 3054 had 1 engine that had its thrust reverser unable to deploy, and the pilots knew this, so that’s why it didn’t activate. The real reason was that the captain was worried about landing due to the heavy rain and overall bad weather, so he tried to get as much runway as possible on landing. Doing this, he forgot to put the engine unable to deploy the thrust reverser on idle, maintaining the plane’s constant speed, this is also what caused the left turn. It was too fast to stop by the end of the runway, but it was too slow and didn’t have enough space to takeoff again. In the end, 187 people + 12 on the ground died
The crew actually turned left not because of the engine but because they were about to overrun the runway and had to act fast, and turning left may be one of their biggest mistakes ever made

I remember the one with the firefighters. They were making a documentary of rookie firefighters and their first week on the job. Documentary film makers were just trying to show what life is like for newbies and got that on camera.
10:50 flight 587 crashed due to pilot error. When they took off behind another plane they caught some turbulance. Then moments later they got more turblance. The co-pilot shiffted the plane with the rudders to hard causing the electical alarm systems to start blaring. Fearing they were still in turbulance the co pilot constantly shifted the rudders left to right aggressively. This caused strain on the rear tail fin and eventually snapped the tail fin off the plane, dooming the plane. (Air distasters - a series you can find on youtube - taught me this)
I believe that the two space shuttle disasters should have been mentioned in this video as well. People from across America seen these two disaster's happen. It is an avaition disaster but this was going to space and coming from
Correction: The 2nd deadliest plane crash in history is actually Japan Airlines Flight 123, happened on August 12, 1985, a Boeing 747SR-46 is flying from Haneda Airport in Tokyo, to IItami Airport in Osaka. There were 15 crew members and 509 passengers on-board of that flight. The reason why using a 747 in a short route is because there was a holiday. But aside, 7 years earlier (1978) the same plane but was instead in a different flight called "Flight 115" involved in a tail strike incident when approaching to an airport. The tail strike is so severe, but the maintenance worker didn't do a good job at fixing the tail. So when the plane was in the air, due to the preassure inside the cabin, it literally exploded causing nearly the entire tail to be ripped off and some of the horizontal stabilizers to be also ripped off from the plane. It was caused by extreme preassure applied into the part where the tail strikes the runway, causing it to crack and explode. The pilots tried to return to Tokyo Airport, but sadly after 32 minutes, the plane crashed into a mountain side. The right wing actually strikes a top of a mountain, causing half of the right wing and engine 4 to be ripped off from the plane, before spinning out of control and crashing into mount mikuni, killing almost all people onboard. There were actually more survivors that survived the crash, but because of the late rescue team, there were only 4 survivors. The rescue team can't actually go to the mountain and save the survivors because obviously of the dangerous mountain terrain. You can read more in this wikipedia page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japan_Air_Lines_Flight_123

On the Aeroméxico clip, you said DC-10, however, the plane you are showing is a DC-9 which is much smaller than a DC-10
Also, a DC-10 is a trijet and a DC-9 is a double jet
I love watching UA-cam videos like this before I have to fly I wonder who else does this
Omg the lore of AIGOS is really interesting
0:36 it was a DC9. Not a dc10. They are not even similar in any way possible.
Aa 191 departed from o hare airport not L. A
Beat me to it. In fact, a lot of comments under this video are pointing out various errors.
4:57 Who the hell screamed then it broke my f-ing speaker and eardrums
It was a dc-9 not a dc-10
imagine what the people who saw these crashes were thinking
Not much unless in a city… then it’s… “oh fck. I might die.”
It would have been nice to know if anyone survived these crashes or how many lost their lives
(Air distasters - a series you can find on youtube - taught me this)
Donde esta el de Tenerife!?!?
Ese no fue captado en camara
@@BustingDropshippers Pues talvez un video falso?
I believe that the two space shuttle disasters should have been mentioned in this video as well. People from across America seen these two disaster's happen. It is an avaition disaster but this was going to space and coming from
0:14 That is not how statistics work.
I think he means they get less likely because they improve safety based on what happened to make that scenario less likely
0:40 it was a DC-9 not a DC-10
(Fun fact) DC in the DC-10 stands for Douglas Commercial
8:39 with the flag in front of the plane makes me wonder if we will ever recover
You say you won’t show simulations but ever one is give your head a shake
The worst one yet is that Mama's house oh I got a good I got him good😊😊😮😢
there's video footage of the concord out there gotta include that
I've flown only 4 times in my life. Twice in 1973 and twice in 1994. I'll never do it again.
Safer than cars, but can be more fatal if you find yourself in a certain scenario
Bro.what about the tenerife airport disaster
[0.09] Asiana Airlines Flight 214
[0.52] THATS NOT A DC-10
I have nearly been in a major crash but we made a emergency landing.
7:20 The flight plan was the opposite; it was from Chicago to LA, crashing just outside O'hare.
PSA Flight 182. Those last words "Ma, I love you." was one of the pilots last words as it was plummeting towards the ground.
A DC-10 is a plane with 3 engines and Aeromexico 498 has 2 engines..
Edit: Aeromexico 498 is a DC-9-32. Not DC-10-10.
How did he get this wrong?
5:37 3rd 9/11 crash
8:25 2nd 9/11 crash
9:08 1st 9/11 crash
It says captured on camera in the title…
@@PHXNKVHXLIC He didn't say "2nd deadliest plane crash in history captured on camera" he said "2nd deadliest plane crash in history" and also Japan Airlines Flight 123 is also captured when it's tail already got seperated from the plane and still flying
@@Ryu1478 oh okay, gotcha, that’s my bad
Justice for the Concorde
Bro using the Portal OST
Bro, that’s an MD 80 not a DC 10
0:40 “this was a midair collision between a dc-10-“ blud thats not a dc10💀
Around 4.12 you state an unknown passenger said this . Pretty certain it was the captain from the CVR
American 191 was a flight taking off from Chicago, not from LAX.
