1995 BMW 740i (E38) Daily Driver Part 2 - Oil Pump Bolts & Thermostat

  • It was time to change the oil on this car and as always with M60 engines, I like to pull the lower oil pan and see if any oil pump bolts had fallen out or were loose. Many were! Also needed to changed the thermostat to fix an engine running temp and heat issue.

    Nice catch on the oil pump bolts.
    Early m62 engines had the same problems.
    Nice epoxy garage floor, same as mine.

    My E32 started doing the same thing with temp. I ordered a new thermostat will be knocking this issue out
