As a Brit, I would say that that slang of Bins, must be for the overly Posh/Elite bunch. For me a bin is equal to the US trash can.

That's singular, the bin where you throw rubbish. Bins plural means binoculars, or sometimes a pair of glasses - 'can't see, need to find me bins'.
Yeah I’ve never heard it for binoculars but I’ve heard it used for glasses.
I mean not really, almost all birdwatchers call binoculars ‘bins’, myself included, and got I wish I was posh or elite, I’m far from it sadly 😂
I'd say lady was middle upper class at a minimum; bins typically mean "trash can", as most people don't require binoculars on a regular enough basis to abbreviate.
Uses for "bins" may include horse racing or bird watching (the latter can be referred to as "twitching", though that is considered a derogatory term)
The lady talking about bins is Emma Thompson a famous actress who for example played Nanny Mcfee Bins are also used for trash cans

Everyday English has so many different words and ways of saying them in different parts of the UK. You probably wont hear or read them on the internet so growing up in those places/living there can only really teach it to you but it is interesting to see peoples reactions to what we say everyday. As a Londoner, I hear and use a lot of all of the slang, except rub a dub dub. Omg, the welsh language is totally nuts. You should do a video about it 😅 it's insane and not all Welsh people can actually speak Welsh, but all signs and information are written in both languages throughout Wales

Mate, I have binoculars on the windowsill - we have loads of different birds round here, so binoculars and bird book sit next to each other. Also, we're on a visual navigation low-flying route for military helicopters, so it's always worth checking them out. I'd bet anyone who lives in the country or by the sea has binoculars, and I guess a great many others do too. I never call them 'bins' though.
Bog standard and dog's bollocks are reputed to come from Box Standard, and Box Deluxe, I believe a connection to Meccano sets in the 30s. That might be an urban myth though.
If anyone asks if you can say the name of the long railway station in Wales, it's Cardiff Central.

Brit here, I'm from the south east of England and Bins round here is normally used for Glasses, "I see Tracy has a new set of bins, musta been to specsavers"

Slang in the UK can be incredibly regional and will usually be wildly different from city to city. A few I've picked up since I moved up near Newcastle, that I quite enjoy hearing, even though I don't use them myself, being born and raised near London.
Why Aye Man: Generally an informal and freindly greeting, though I have heard it used to mean "Yes, I agree" as well. Very common.
Bairns: Means children. Also super common.
Soft as Clarts: Clarts is slang for wet mud, so "Soft as Mud". Someone who's harmless. "Don't mind my dog, he's soft as clarts."
Howaay: Basically, "Go away", or "Get away from me". Can be very offensive. I've seen people get incredibly angry when they've been told to "Howaay with you."
Oh and if you want to start a fight up here, go into a pub in Newcastle full of Geordies and call them Mackems. Or go into a pub in Sunderland full of Mackems and call them Geordies. Newcastle and Sunderland may only be like three miles apart, but it's a VERY important three miles to them. :)
Edit: Just remembered my absolute favorite, from my Mums home county of Yorkshire.
Eee By Ecky Gum: An exclamation of surprise. "Eee by ecky gum, that car came out of nowhere."
We also use ‘old geezer’. To me, geezer just means man. Ricky’s example applies to a ‘real tasty geezer’.
It always makes me think of cheeky chappy or an Essex boy. I’m sure that not everyone sees it that way though.

I guess, I'm common AF cause bins mean something different for me. A bin, just clearing out the bins. Grim means gross.

Two of the English Idioms you've had commented on here are "Bog Standard" and "Dog's Bollocks" - there's a probable? (possible) origin for each of these:
In the early days of production for a well known 'construction toy', (certainly not LEGO, and I'll insist that I didn't suggest it was Meccano! What Me? ) the toy came in two different sets. The basic set was labelled "Box Standard" and the more expensive, more sophisticated set was labelled "Box Deluxe". Over time this situation gave birth to two English phrases:
1) Something that was just enough, but with nothing really special about it, became described as being "Bog Standard" (from "Box Standard",)
2) Something that was exceptional, and well above the quality you would normally expect, began to be descibed as the "Dogs Bollox" or "Dog's Bollocks" (a spoonerism of "Box Deluxe"!)
'Bins' can also mean 'glasses' (as in eyeglasses/spectacles)
"Like the new bins, Dave", you might say to your workmate when he shows up at the office wearing an ostentatiously expensive pair of Prada-framed spectacles.

Wrong, the second half is dependent on who you are talking to or where you are. As a Scot, I can say that the vast majority of the Scottish slang used is pretty common among most Scots speakers and in Scotland. As for the English ones, they are dependent on age and/or location. As I have never lived in Wales, I couldn’t really comment on them but they do seem to be mainly words from the Welsh language as opposed to slang.

One of my favourite Scottish sayings which I use when needed is "awa an bile yer Heid!" which means "away and boil your head". You'd say that to someone who was annoying you 😂

I've never ever in my life heard glasses or binoculars referred to as bins. A bin has always been where you put your rubbish. Must be a posh thing lol

My dad, who was Welsh, could say that place name. By the way, according to Wikipedia, the long name was supposedly contrived in 1869 as an early publicity stunt to give the station the longest name of any railway station in Britain. The 'proper' name is just Llanfairpwllgwyngyll.

Not wanting to contradict 'Shaun of the Dead' or 'Superman', "nob" without the 'k' at the beginning is an historical slang term for the human head, and appears as such in a number of Shakespearian plays.
04:45 Up here in Scotland we tend to say 'blether' when we're just idly chatting.
06:30 Geezer in this context is very much a London expression, it's rare elsewhere.

Scouse a cheap stew, made with cheap cuts of lamb and veg. As people were poor in Liverpool and ate Scouse a lot, it came to apply to the people of Liverpool = Scousers.

Never heard of bins being short for binoculars but as I live in Wales in know cwtch very well. Slang is also pretty reginal too. Even just in Wales we were taught there are north and south variations on words. Things that are newer words like microwave they call popty ping or something dodgy like that. Apparently English is the hardest language to learn, who knows 😂

You wouldn't tend to say "It cheeses me off" but "it makes me cheesed off". It's like the split infinitive. Try to keep cheesed and off together.
Rogering can be taking in two ways, Rogering could mean "Obviously you need laid made mate" or "Well that ffr needs a Rogering" which means doing something horrible to somebodies ass.
