I think the comparrisons I see to Mazzy Star on every single video this band releases are really lazy and not even that accurate. I actually hear more of Nina Persson in Molly's voice and quite a strong Resemblance to the upper, higher notes of Sheryl Crow's voice in the 90's on songs like "Oh Marie" and "Home". There's a fair bit of Tanya Donelly there too. Hope Sandoval's voice had a very youthful baby-ish gurgle to it like Susanna Hoffs or or Cyndi Lauper and there is nothing of that in Molly's voice at all. Widowspeak are also a much more interesting band lyrically.
