@LIONTAMER3D the only health point is the last one.Just treat your low health as your new max health. Much easier to get a perfect with infinite level 1 supers.
And yet, in professional play, it's considered the 'worst' groove because it has to deal with C-A-N roll cancel supremacy, K rage and Parry being better for reversal than the Spot dodge. But it's still so damn fun to see someone evaporate because they forgot you have infinite desperation super. CvS 2 is True Love.
And also that prior to desperation, you can only build up super by standing still and charging, and the only reasonable time to do this is after an opponent gets knocked down, which lets them get back up and basically resets to neutral.
Groove is definitely the worst considering lv1's do not have s + the limited feats the groove offers compared to others. It makes P-Groove look better even though that groove is also bad too on comp
The dodge mechanic is made inadequate due to roll cancel, meaning every groove with a roll is vastly superior due to the fact that they can turn any normal or special move completely invincible lol
@jp3813 I don't think you grasped my post: roll cancel is so grossly overpowered that any groove that doesn't feature the "roll" mechanic is patently unviable. S & P groove are non-viable. I don't think K is viable, but some people do because it can get off 2 lvl 3 supers in one round...like n groove does...and n groove has the roll mechanic...and n groove doesn't have to take damage to get supers (lol) C, A, and N are the only truly viable grooves.

That way you can use supers in two ways: charging up to the max, or at low hp... and in that 2nd case you have infinite supers. In the end its just a reference to a primitive "super" mechanic (again, 92, just 1 year after the invention of SF2) which was more or less natural for KOF 94 and even more to CvS2, that made the different grooves to celebrate the 2d fg history as a whole.
