On my newly created Earthen Paladin, my route was: 1) Elwynn Forest; 2) Wetlands; 3) Arathi Highlands; 4) Badlands. I completed all quests in those zones, and I was level 70 in no time (I think it was no more than 6-7 hours).

I just did this and arguably was a bit slower due to lack of fully upgraded heirlooms plus trying to cut back to the video to work out the route and did it just under 7 hours! So very impressed, this video is fantastic, thank you ever so much. I'm gonna try this exact route again and see if I can beat that time :D

While I love my dh, came back for tww bc I saw the t2 upgrade and wanted to play my pally. Of course, he's only 60. Went to felwood, leveled with wm on and dmf buff (no warband buff, unfortunately) in like, an hour. Now I'm enjoying tww with a fresh level 70 I WANTED to do it with! I ALMOST stopped playing again...your video gave me hope, and a new love of the game!!! Thank you, from the bottom of this casual 43-yr old stepdad's heart...you truly made my day!! An aside question: What's your experience addon called? Thanks again, and hope you get lotsa shinies!!!
After all that MoP Remix and Echoes leveling, I was amazed I even had any desire to play an Earthen. But decided to loosely follow the no kills, exploration route with him since I've neglected a lot of zones for many years now. At least gives a relaxing thing to do when you've smoked a few bowls and want to nerd out with nostalgia for a few hours lol
I've actually decided to level my Earthen this way as it's been SO many years since I've been to a very large amount of zones; and I saw a video of a guy who actually did this with a non-Earthen very recently. It's so enjoyable to fly around and relive all the amazing soundtracks and ambience!
You can grab the three-four buffs from the Legion beach before skipping ahead to Dalaran. It's an hour of somewhat substantial buffs, 30% armor, bonus holy damage.
The xp from warband is the best, I ran my Earthen warrior from 10-70 in about five hours from questing. (Azshara>Silverpine>Hillsbrad) and apparently Earthen can level up even faster from just exploring areas.
dont forget about that BFA xp potion, draught of ten lands, for 10% more xp! also dont forget about potential holiday buffs that give more xp like darkmoon faire, anniversary event, etc
Thanks for the vid! The only issue that I have with this guide would be that, when you talk of using heirlooms to remind ppl that it costs a lot of gold to upgrade to level 69 (your video shows all of your heirlooms being at level 69) and that is a cost as well.
You can also upgrade with holiday currency and timewalking badges, both of which I have a guide on in case folks need it! The TW now is esp great since you can xfer thst currency. ❤
don't forget to grab 2 gathering professions, herbs and ore give decent experience and can make you some extra cash or just help stockpile for production professions
since youre already using addons like SilverDragon - i leveled 5+ Earthen 10-71 in 4-5h by farming Rares in Tirisfall Glades/Silverpine/Hillsbrad (with brakes in BC Dungs for respawn)

Myself i'm gonna just go through dragon isle quests on a alt for the rep renown i missed out on when i came back late in the expansion, 2 birds 1 stone so to speak. Renowns are pretty much in the mid 20's so would be beneficial to me lol.
And here I am still trying to slow leveling down... 😅 Leveling to 80 in Khaz'Algar feels surprisingly fast, often hitting max level on the latest continent is a slog. I've quit using heirloom gear entirely, and am meandering around picking flowers and thoroughly reading all the quest text. That 10% XP buff from having two 80s is more than plenty, I wish I could toggle it off! I made an earthen as soon as possible, and took her someplace I figured no earthen had ever been. Shadowlands! The quest text is often very funny, considering the history of my character. "Let's examine your past memories!" /cue ~1000 years of stasis/ "You're the first mortal I've ever met!" /not technically mortal/ "What an amazing champion from Azeroth!" /just learned combat two hours ago/
You can use the map toys and still get exploration XP. It just removes the fog of war on the map. It's how a bunch of people are leveling Earthen, just by flying around and exploring.
This expansion, like last ones, are you leveling up a lot of characters to 80 before you do other things. Been hoping you do a video on what you're doing
As someone who quit during the end of Cata? While lvling up, is there anything you would recommend to unlock before hiting lvl 70 and going to the new area? I guess Legion for the order hall? What about Dragonflight? anything usefull there?
I just logged back in since a very long time with my lvl 64 monk, and Im confused: in Felwood, my enemies and quests are for lowlevel - mobs are around lvl 30..? how am i supposed to quest here? What did i overlook?
Only if you’re the tank and know how to chain pull or get lucky and have a group who can clear them efficiently. Otherwise it’s pretty luck dependent on your groups how fast that’ll go, and your queue times aren’t gonna be great if you’re not tank or heals. I will say though 60-70 in dungeons feels pretty good even if it’s not much faster than the questing. The nerfed xp requirements on that range is super nice.
For a veteran player, grinding dungeons and doing quests while on que wearing boa gear is surely enough fast since most dungeons have quests too and gives a ton of xp. There is absolutely no need for specified and complex "how to level fast" guidance which might get you a tiny bit faster to level 70. Even 70-80 goes in one night if you just keep doing quests and dungeons. I really don't get it why people are interested about these videos.

do you mean War within zones? because I just wanted to tell you that it has always been like this you level in older zones till ~10 levels below the newest endlevel (so right now 70 since 80 is endlevel with TWW) :D

Did it yesterday in 4h40min - so quite relaxed. But going into the first LFG dungeon as a naked Earthen Prot Warrior was priceless… 🫣🤣

It'd been nerfed multiple times over the years and now just doesn't hold up imo, esp now that we have skyriding as low as 10.

Really well put together but the Dragonflight campaign requirement kinda kills it for anyone who skipped that expansion.

That "fog" tells me where I haven't explored yet, so it still seems like a hindrance to the process.
Dungeon drops/quest rewards are actually better than heirlooms these days

They should add more heirlooms and I do not mean another ring or trinket. We miss some slots and they need to be filled.
Still need an Heirloom wand, Heirloom Int sword & dagger, and a few other things I'm missing off the top my head.

Not really imo, not now that we have skyriding at level 10. It doesn't help speed those up, so other zones are better now!

This guide should not be used for Earthen as Exploration leveling will be faster, otherwise it is a lovely guide.

Because not everyone prefers dungeon spamming. My guide is not about speed leveling and it’s tailored to solo players-like myself.
