Anthony Perkins and Tuesday weld were brilliant in this film I thought it was funny when she turned in to a psycho and he was shocked😮 and she took over his plans very clever plot
WOW. one of those movies where you wish you had a time machine that could bring back vintage vehicles. the airstream, the house with asbestos siding, the food truck thing. and funny yhat he dropped off the movie film roll to be processed with the not older women all within 5 miutes. cabt wait to see beverley garland and tuesday weld. highlarious twist half way through.
This is not an ‘English movie’. It’s an American movie IN English. Or if you prefer, an English language movie. There’s no need to mis-state the origin like this.
I am going to take a wild guess and say that "english" means english language. But I get your point. If it said "French" you would expect a french movie.
English is the language of the movie. I think it makes perfect sense. If a movie says Spanish the language is Spanish, French would mean it is in the French language, etc. Actually I'm glad it says English so I don't waste my time.I only understand English, lol!!!!
@@lisahobbs6937 A Mexican movie should be and usually is described as such. Not Spanish. Spanish language perhaps but not Spanish. A Canadian movie might be an English or French language movie. And so on. To describe an American or Australian movie as ‘English’ is just incorrect and misleading, isn’t it?
Did everyone recognize Ken Kercheval at the little sandwich shop near the end? He played Cliff Barnes, J.R.'s archrival on the Dallas t.v. series. He was so young in this; I took a minute to pick up on it. Lol.
@@TonyaDenton-ks8mh Yes, we still enjoy it now. I saw it back in the day, of course, but my son and I are going through the series again. This weekend we are going up to Parker Tx, where the Southfork ranch is. We are going to tour the house, and property, and meet some of the stars that are still alive. Too bad we recently lost Ken Kercheval, who played Cliff, so we are too late to meet him, but we will get to meet the actors and actresses that played Ray, Lucy, Sue Ellen, Bobby, Christopher, Cally, and several others.
@@TonyaDenton-ks8mh Hahaha! Yes, my son has already paid to have a picture taken with her. If I can remember, I will write you back and let you know how it went, and what Linda was like.
@@TonyaDenton-ks8mh We got back from our trip to the Southfork Ranch. I was totally blown away at the amount of people!!!! I figured that it had been so many years that the popularity of that show would have waned enough by now to have a small crowd, but it was huge! It kind of spoiled it for me, because I have severe heart disease, and with the Flu, and Covid still a thing, I have to keep a distance in crowds. So, I was a bit uncomfortable in the rooms. Linda Gray looked amazing though, especially for her age! My personal favorite was Kathy Podewell who played Cally, J.R.'s super young second wife. She was also one of the friendliest. Jennilee Harrison, who was also in Threes Company was also there, and she was also very friendly! My son got pictures with lots of them, and of course they autographed the photos. My son has kind of a little hobby of sending off for signed photos of some of these tv stars we like. He says Cheryl Ladd is supposed to be easy to get a signed picture of, so hes going to work on that. I enjoyed her in the movie called VOWS OF DECEPTION, is is on UA-cam for free. Check it out if you have never seen it. She is dynomite in that movie and looks incredible!!!!
2:06 1:27:03 Can anybody tell me what is the rationale behind cutting the opening and closing credits? I assume it's some kind of copyright issue, but I still don't get it. What? - - - Are the credits copyrighted, but not the movie itself? Or is it the music bed underneath?? Or the name of the 2nd assistant key grip, whose father-in-law happens to be a lawyer??? If anybody has an informed clue, please enlighten me . . .
Theory: Sue Ann only says her father died in Korea, but she sounded a little unsure of that answer. Maybe her father doted on her in comparison to her mother but he left them after he caught his wife with another man, or he thought that he did. That’s why Sue Ann hates her mother with such a passion despite the woman seeming completely, well, normal. Her dad was likely cheating too but it ain’t no fun when the rabbit gets the gun- Sue Ann of course being too young and impulsive never considered this. I won’t spoil anything but I would love to see what her character got up to. What happens when she’s the one who falls in love?
@@AngelaDibble-qc2ot Agree…but also Sue Anne was disrespectful asf. I think her mother’s physical responses weren’t totally abnormal. Realistically speaking.

Who'd have thought Tuesday Weld was crazier than Anthony Perkins? The ending left me hanging though.
Thank you so much for uploading!
Yeah, the old Secret Agent line...works every time.
wow, that was actually good, didnt expect it, Tuesday was brilliant
A good movie. Tuesday plays the perfect combination of perceived innocence and evil.
Great movie.I was enthralled.
This is a really, really good movie. Thank you, Silver.
🔥Tuesday Weld is one of my favorite actresses of all time - GOOD ONE! 💙💜💯🖤💫👍💋!
Absolute classic, 1968 in color !
Decent movie. Anthony Perkins certainly had a certain kind of charm.
Yes, he certainly did, I would date him !
He was gorgeous
Yeah she's pretty good looking
Perkins was an amazing actor.
Very attractive too
May he rest in peace !
Tuesday Weld is stunning.
Stanley Kubrick considered her for Lolita, but when offered the part, she said, "I can't play Lolita. I AM Lolita!"

The mother is a bit handy with the face slaps which is not a good normal in my book.

What does all that punctuation even mean? Are the capitals relevant for some reason? Is it a secret code?
