Ont reconnaît la grandeurs des grands artistes par leurs humilités et gentillesses. Aujourd'hui même salade avec des zéros les plus grands sont décédés.

It is a very interesting movie about an unknown painting by Johanes Vermeer. The painting of a young girl covers in a hyacinth blue shawl has a very interesting journey from one owner to another and how reluctant each owner has to give it up.

People in Texas loves to argue and interrupt any event. I remember when I was there pregnant about to have my baby in Dallas, Texas and I used to look from an apartment balcony, how everyday parking lot fights start after the club closed. A temperamental Texan spirit....Drinking isn't good for humans, it's destructive.

I think Tyrone Power was too old to be one of my late father's favorite actors since his heyday was around the time my father was a kid in Bangladesh and later India. Have to admit the twinkle in the man's eye and his mischievous smile made him attractive even with his upturned nose! R.I.P. to all the actors that put up this romp.

Was this movie originally shot in color? My late mother was a fan of Tyrone Power. She thought he looked like a handsome Indian man. Maureen O'Hara looked pretty here. Let's see if it's Oscar worthy.
