I have loved Charlotte Moss since she came on the scene. Its really a tribute to her creativity that she could go from Wall Street and end up with such a highly successful Design business as she did because if i remember correctly she based her Design business on her Southern up bringing not her university education. She is really something. I do not say that lightly because from 3 yrs old my entire life has been steeply rooted in all aspects of Design. I grew up with it and i give her enormous credit for her design skills and marketing abilities, Bravo Charlotte.

I, too, love museum shops. That's great that she shared that tip. They have everything from the serious & historical to the fun & fanciful and have a variety of prices, too.

I wish I had enough friends to make a dinner gathering worthwhile & I wish I knew how to cook well enough to hold my own. Anyway, funny she likes carnations. I do too & they last for weeks, look lovely & smell wonderful.

This video is especially inspirational for me. I used to be afraid to buy other place setting because I was worried that my new set will not have enough amount. Buying the setting you love and just mix and match for the same color scheme/theme make perfect sense and liberating. Thank you so much for you and Charlotte Moss.

Always enjoy your content. I like to imagine that Susannah just travels the world visiting wonderful people. Here is a place I can admit to having four complete tea sets, a large collection of Bordallo Pinheiro leaf pattern dishes and serving pieces, three inherited sets of silver-plate flatware, and so many table cloths and runners they barely fit into the china hutch drawers. Setting the table is such a joy, and I agree...mixing and layering pieces in different ways adds to the fun. Theme dinners are my thing. I absolutely had to have a house with a large dining room, though sometimes the table is covered with books. :)
I’ve just watched this for the 2nd time in 12 months. So inspirational, so many ideas, and all of them are simple! Now , time to get out my antique Noritake dinnerset and have the girls over for lunch! Thankyou girls 😘💖💐

How to find someone to make a custom bed canopy. How to cover the wall by tackibg fabric to the trim. How to float a bed in the middle of the room. She is the queen of everything, but her bedrooms are always my favorite

I love the idea of just buying a place setting you love and mixing and matching.
You get great jewelry in museum shops. Carnations and hydrangeas are my favourite flowers. Underrated, as Ms Moss said. I love the plate with the fish on it.

Charlotte is right about every day being an occasion with just a flower and nice setting/plate. That sort of thing, flowers on the table, actually helps with depression as does an odd lovely plate. Lifts the spirits.

I don’t know how I missed this one.....Charlotte Moss has such a relaxed approach. I especially liked when she said that it’s ok to just buy one plate if you like it, not to worry if it’s the only one you ever find, just enjoy it! It can be dangerous though, both my finest ( and complete) dinner services of Wedgewood began with a single saucer!

I just love her answer to your question about how many place settings one should buy when seeing something that catches the eye. It makes perfect sense - if there are only two available, then how lovely to use when having a friend for lunch or tea! Plus, if we're always buying service for 8 or 12, then storage becomes an issue. I really got a lot out of this video - thank you to both of you!

I have eight china patterns (for now), five crystal patterns, four sterling flatware patterns plus umpteen other things. The only reason I’m stating this is because I use them all, everyday all the time. Nothing stays put away. Use your things. It doesn’t matter how valuable it is. It’s there to enjoy.
