I think the judge wants to get this case going to reduce Trump's antics inside and outside the court room AND before Trump can figure out some way to stop the trial.

According to another attorney, on a well-known online news source, who has worked 30 years in NY Manhattan Criminal Courts, jury selection is moving at a normal speed. Not fast, as mentioned here.
Hoping? There is nothing reassuring about that. I do not understand the continual special treatment - the precedent being set portends badly for what remains of the criminal justice system.

It is just been my experience having served on both a state criminal and a federal civil jury that the better educated jurist is far better at thinking critically about the evidence presented and are less likely to see either the prosecution or the defense as infallible. We have a very large segment of our population that is just follow the leader and they usually aren't as well educated. I don't know if that's a statistic but it certainly has been my experience in the Jury Room.

Your "experts" have apparently never tried either a civil or criminal case. Jury selection does not take all that long. This case is actually slower than usual.

Efficiency on this process of selecting jurors for trumps trial is welcome, especially in contrast to other situations involving this man where process is lagging for lack of legal experience or other frustrating road blocks.
