// ABOUT ME
My name is Etienne Crete (from Montreal, Canada). I'm a swing Forex trader and help aspiring Forex traders develop a trading method that works for them so they can produce income allowing them to live with more freedom.
I blog at www.desiretotrade.com and host the Desire To Trade Podcast. I was fed up with the “fake” millionaire traders and the “get-rich-quick-trading guys”. That's why you can expect more free content from me than what other people charge for!
If you truly want to succeed in Forex trading, I believe you need to keep working on yourself so you can improve your strengths, but also your weaknesses. Do not focus solely on what you're good at.
// Disclaimer
This video expresses my personal opinion only. Forex trading is risky. Make sure you are ready to trade. Even this will not guarantee you positive results. I am not responsible for any losses incurred due to your trading or anything else. I do not recommend any specific trade or action.

What's your main takeaway from this interview?
Bad trading is changed by changing yourself for the better.
Your trading can’t evolve if you can’t evolve as a person.
That I'm on the right path. Chris is a really interesting guy.
Most traders trade short-term and for pleasure. And this is a business. If you treat trading as a hobby, then you will have the results.
"events are just catalysts"
"markets move on emotional sentiment"
-spoken like a prophet
Wonderful insightful interview
No hype no unrealistic promises
Just truth, human element & hard-won wisdom. Thank you both.
I'm very glad you liked the interview!
With no doubt....One of the most motivating vids I saw today , thanks for the share of knowledge , peace !
I'm glad you liked the interview! Keep it up 💪📈
My main takeaway was that trading leans towards a bigger % of psychology over strategy. (If your heads not in it, you can't win it) Doesn't matter how good your set up is, if you're unprepared for the knocks/or ready to ride the pain train, don't trade.
The mental aspect is important! Great takeaway!
"if you're not ready to ride the pain train, don't trade"
Strategy
Risk management + risk tolerance
Psychological process meditation
Journal and review
Refinement of your top trades and ditch the crap set ups
Exercise
Just be a humble trader, don't take it out on anyone because you had a bad day trading.
Spiritual practices
Those are awesome points! Thanks for the comment!
Very intelligent trader. Someone who sounds like he truly understands the art of it. Huge achievement in essence.
Glad you liked that interview 🙌
Great interview that touches on so many elements of what it takes to become a successful trader that often don't get discussed. The key to being successful is YOU.
Resilience... constant evolution... grinding... part of every trader's journey. Great insights from you and Chris, thanks Etienne.
Resilience is a great trait to master 👌

@ 23:40-24:30. This guy in AUD is spot on. "Every bloody day" classic
This is a gem of an interview. I'm so glad I'm living where he is, I should catch-up over coffee to absorb his wisdom in this erratic weathered Melbourne 😂
i started trading 2002 and read this guys books and his Friend Louise Bedford , im from the same country , he has his own ideas but at the end of the day they both are Marketers and made all there money from Marketing how to trade or at least 90% , read between the lines or the words ?
Always learning, evaluating, and how to apply what the market is teaching you. Thanks E
Really great takeaway! Thanks Bruce!
Simplicity is a beautiful thing. Three lines of code...now that's simplicity!

4 seasons in 1 day? That's how I get sick but I would still come down to trade with you
Yeah it really is like that :)
Is it a good idea to have a stock broker in Uk?
Yes, Mate. It is.
@@saanvi848 Please why do you say so? I wanna know. I have lost a lot. Trying to manage my stocks myself.
I’m too tied up with work. I have no time to analyze which stock to buy.

The audio was very poor but very good lesson learnt
Great work E. Good one
Glad you liked it!!
At the 18:00, what Is the title of the book he Is refer?
That trading is primarily about mental discipline
Huge! Thanks for the comment!
Got some nice value from this. Nice one
Wish there was a mic near his mouth, the words are difficult to understand. It sounds very echoing!
Fantastic
Glad to hear that!!
great interview!
Really glad you liked it 💯
I really laughed at 8:50, when he says it was difficult to get books to Australia because they were sent to Austria. It's exactly the same as what Louise Bedford said in her interview, ua-cam.com/video/MvAk6ym3BpQ/v-deo.html, at 3:50 where a book she had ordered ended up in Austria and she had to pay double tax :D
He's like the John Danaher of Trading
It took me 6years to realise its not the system its me.
Audio quality is poor
Why do all traders talk about things being simple? There mist be a thing as being too simole as well? Buying on a moving average crossover wont work, the same with buhing a hammer placed in the middle of nowhere. Overused cliche. I believe you can have a complicated and advanced system and make it work.
a pity with the sound
ET any chance you can upload to bitchute please? I think yt's new tos signals the slow death of yt.

Let's flip it around, alright?
17:24 ... hahaha
Who’s laughing now. The lady in the cafe that said bitcoin was going to a million. This was a year ago. Nice 👍
Great videos but this guy Ettiene really needs to go to some english classes
You're right... I'd make a good teacher
So much click bait in that thumbnail /sigh
Nobody tells the exact methods in all these video lectures
These aren't classes, they are interviews. You can learn my method through many videos on my channel
Okay
Plus if they would expose their strategies and systems, people would follow the same and the retail brokers and bankers would misuse that information. The system would stop working aka everyone would lose in the end. This is why "profitable strategies" online is bs. These traders talk about important things that they Can expose without getting their system into risk of stop working. Hope that helps.
@@timvincent8649 no one can expose his or her strategies .I think it is a skill that you develop as you trade .I'm a beginner i wanna learn from different people .
U think for me copy trading is a way to go to learn from experienced traders.
