Remember folks, Walmart is one of the largest employers of Chinese laborers and the main reason for our trade deficit. This company takes out secret life-insurance policies on its employees, which is why they usually only hire old/impoverished people. So when those workers die, Walmart recoups their salaries from the insurance companies= free labor. You have may have noticed the USA has a history of that. Don't like it? Don't shop there. I ain't seeing it. Everything is still up an average of 25%. Cereal is $5 and the boxes are smaller than they were four years ago. Grocery stores are trying to recover their low mark-up before they are forced to drop their prices by the Biden Administration to make it look like inflation is over. Walmart is no longer the cheapest in town. I wait for grocery stores to have sales.
