I had a 2014 Mustang Gt with a coyote, that thing was a beast, I couldn’t imagine that kinda power in such a little truck, man that’s going to be wild!
From what I understand, the truck, which as you said weighs almost nothing, runs like a scalded ape, Dave. I am anxious for a ride.....with my video camera ;)
Hello Uncle Doug, Very nice indeed! You know that truck will get with it. I look forward to seeing part 2 and more of your Hot Rods. I'm sure you will be showcasing plenty of nice cars in the months to come. I'm glad you are doing well and staying busy. Getting about time to hear Ollie & Jack play a few licks, pun intended. I get all your notifications and check my subs often for new posts. Your second video is next. We hit 91 today, Sept. 1st. I believe Fall begins the 22nd, enjoy your end of Summer. Be good, all the best, Cass.
@@uncledougshotrodgarage6049 Jag rear ends where being used a lot if I remember. At least the base. AC Cobra replicas, etc. and many performance build. They had the coil over when we didn't have it. I believe MG also borrowed their design (did a lot of British Cars). Can't remember what rear end was in the original Pantera with the 351C. Might have been Jag based also. Back then people would steal the front suspension of Mustang II to get the same deal on the front for Mustangs (sorry Doug, Ford guy here lol).
Dang, you have finally given me something to watch that is politics-free! Thanks, as always, Uncle Doug! EDIT - I didn't mean that your stuff was political, just that seems to be the trend of everyone else these days.
You're welcome, Ken. I hear too much of other people's opinions all day to ever want to inflict my opinion on you all......unless it has to do with old cars ;)
The frame was completely reinforced, but I hear you, Tocsa. It costs a fortune to build a flathead any more, and the 100 or so horsepower is not exactly neck snapping ;) This jewel will run forever, never overheat, and scare the bejesus out of both passengers and bystanders :)
What a beast that Ford pick-up looks!!
I understand it's a real monster on the street, Robin.
I swear I could smell that when he started it up!
Love the exhaust trick, very neat.
Trust me, with the big garage door closed, I could smell it too, Prince ;) Thanks !!!
I agree with Ken, just a video about a 34 truck, no hidden agenda. Good video as always.
Thanks Uncle Doug.
Can't wait for part 2.
Thanks, Duncan. Part 2 will be available shortly.
Awesome thanks for posting. I look forward to your videos, they are always fun and informative.
Our pleasure, Phil. Thanks for watching.

WOW
Wow a ford powered by ford pretty rare everyone I see has a SBC! Gorgeous piece of machinery! Hope that Jag rear end holds up!
Yes, indeed, and WHAT a Ford engine ;) Thanks !! If you like Mopars, just wait until Part 2.
Pantera rear end setup in a 34 Ford Truck with a Coyote engine. Really cool Doug !!
Thanks, Bert :)

Thanks for all your nice comments, Cass. We're doing just fine.....you too, I hope. Stay cool :)
Really nice. That Challenger looks pretty cherry, but I hope they change the wheels.
Thanks, Bevo. They were put on just to move it to the shop.
@@uncledougshotrodgarage6049 GOOD! 😆
And cup holders for the coffee.
Heck, yes. Only the best for our road warriors ;)
Quote "Nice stout rear end". Leave it out Uncle Doug 😏
There is nothing wrong with admiring stout rear ends, Paul ;)
@@uncledougshotrodgarage6049 Indeed Unc, indeed :)
I don't have friends like that. Damn
Once you get involved with hot rods, the friends seem to appear :)
Pretty sure DeLorean also used the Jag rear also. Can't remember, even though I worked on a few.
I think it might have been a bit fancy and expensive for DeLorean, Bert......but I may be wrong.

Lots a hotrod there. That’ll turn a few heads.
Thanks, OG. I'm anxious for the first ride ;)

Sweet! The only way to make it cooler would be the engine from a Fiat S76.
We considered that, Andrew, but had to settle for the puny 5.0 Mustang ;)
That would look a lot better setting in your driveway....
Thanks, Lee. That's what I told my wife ;)
Sure, just drop a Coyote in that C-channel-frame 90 year old car ;) Wondering, at this point which one is cheaper, get a flatty built or buy a 5.0?

oh no no no, that embossing is horrible...
Sorry you hate it, P.
