People who knew her said, that no matter how beautiful she was on camera, it couldn't compare to how beautiful she was in person. She was stunning. One of those beauties who would alternate from looking normal to ravishing in moments. Probably a lot of it was also that loveliness of her personality. You can tell she was an intelligent, generous, kind person.

Deborah kerr has always been my favorite actress. I loved her in the sundowners with my other favorite miss glynis johns . I never met her much to my regret. When i started my first job at 15 l bought with first pay a photo of her in a frame from woolworths. Im 73 and still treasure it.

Thank you *soooo* much for this!! Such a class act; refined, but hinting at fiery depths, w/out *ever* being whorish about it. I always wished she was my mum!!

That was really lovely. My favourite actress of all time. I have really teared up listening to her talk 😢. Such a humble lady and so very talented. Deborah was amazing and she did have many and varied roles. I love all of the film's I have seen but my favourites would be The King and I, An affair to remember and Heaven Knows Mr Allison. I think those three leading men Yul, Cary and Robert had amazing chemistry with her and it shone through. Not to mention her beauty and her figure was amazing. Has anyone else noticed that Deborah has such wonderful diction that you can usually lip read what she is saying if the sound is down. Also she has the most beautiful and expressive hands. As a super fan over the years I have noticed these things. R.I.P Beautiful lady 🌹

A lot of people think or praise for her beauty and elegance. But I appreciate her knowledge and vision about acting and the industry. She is also a great businesswoman in her field i think...she interacts well with everyone she met. We should learn from her.

None of these interviews or discussion about her career, or Yul's career, ever mention 'The Journey': the best film they both did together. That film is absolute magic and Yul is just fantastic in it as he portrays his obsession with her.

I wish younger British ladies would speak properly like this these days. We need to bring a sense of class and charisma back.

I don't know why they pronounce her name wrong, it's NOT pronounced Carr it's pronounced Kerr, like it's spelled

Foi uma estratégia de marketing na época, pois falar com o som de Carr rimava com Star. Ela explica sobre isso numa entrevista no Programa da Martha Deane no WOR em Nova York.
