I think something that would be cool for them to do is to have us customize our own palette. That way we don’t buy a whole palette if not all the shades work for you

I don’t mind that the palette doesn’t include a bronzer because 99.9% of the time when a bronzer is included it cannot work for anyone deeper than fair 🙄. Blushes and highlights are a lot more universal IMO
I wish hourglass would do duos or trios with a blush and bronzer or blush bronzer and highlight for a variety of skin tones. Even if they were existing shades, that would be a way to make several smaller (and more affordable) palettes for many skin tones instead of one or two palettes that only work for a small proportion of skin tones or color preferences.

I have that one. It was out a couple years ago. Has bronzer highlight and finishing powder.
I think Hourglass should make custom 6 pan and quads so you can pick your own shades,imagine if they they did that this holiday 😱 i only have the Elephant palette and the unlocked quad from a few years ago so this palette will be good for me 😊

I appreciate how honest you are despite receiving tons of PR. This packaging floats my boat way more than the cheap tins but I will not go for another palette until they include blush, bronzer, highlight and powder in the same palette again. All this does is make me appreciate and want to revisit my older palettes, which are awesome for summer travel. Especially the quad. Enjoyed your review anyway🐇

Agree and more shade variety in the pallette. They all look the same for the most part. I can't see myself spending so much money on such similar shades. I know their formulation is exquisite but just underwhelmed by the shade choice. My 2 cents anyway lol

Hi! Have you ever thought about doing a video for those who know nothing about hourglass powders but would like to approach them? I am one of those people haha. I don't know, like a ranking video where you talk about all the powders/ palettes you have? Or maybe explaining how they work? I don't know if you've already done that in the past because I've never cared for the brand but I'm feeling very attracted to it lately. ❤❤
All the different powders can be confusing. I would personally recommend the AMBIENT™LIGHTING EDIT - SCULPTURE palette - depending on your skin tone. But in general I think you would get the most use out of a palette that has two very different shades of blush, one bronzer, a finishing powder and a "strobe" powder (which is basically a highlighter). Everything you could need in a single palette. I also prefer that packaging to the tin, but that's me. I wonder what Morgan would say...

@@AllyKit I actually gave in and just purchased the Sculpture palette since it includes a bronzer, finishing powders, blush, & highlighter. I’m a light skin tone so hopefully will get a lot of use out of it for the price 😂

I look forward to their release every year! I love them. I can’t wait to get both! The first time I tried their ambient lighting powder I couldn’t believe what it did to my skin, which is so deceptive looking at them and swatching them. They are beautiful and worth it to me.

I see people in the comments are asking for customised palette and I totally agree with that. I have very fair skin with neutral undertone and usually at least two or three shades in those palettes don’t match my skin tone. That’s why I buy just single palettes from HG.

If you buy one Hourglass blush, one bronzer, and one ambient light powder (even in the regular size) it is cheaper than those two palettes. Personally, I like the bigger pans. I haven’t been doing any of those edit palettes. I have old ones like the Ghost and I have lots of singles of their blushes, bronzers, and highlighters, so I’m good.

I recently got the blush&glow pallet and it’s absolutely gorgeous! I’ve been loving the Champagne and Celestial Metallic Strobe Powder. If they had full size versions of these two colors I’d order them immediately. they’re perfect highlight shades for my skin tone and especially since I have a neutral to yellow undertones.

I'm always watching Hourglass palettes hoping to see some peach and corals. Maybe I'm wrong but most of their blush shades seem to be just more pink.

It took me a long time to jump on the hourglass bus. I drooled over the holiday releases but couldn't bring myself to pay that much $$$. Then I got a mini blush from boxycharm & loved it. Then I didn't hesitate on the holiday release mini sculpture edit, I am so in love with the hourglass powders. Waiting to see this year's holiday palettes!

I am more excited about the sculpting pallet I was debating on buying that one cause I don't have any of the finishing powders left and I only have 1 bronzer which is radiant light bronzer but I have several of the blushes seperate and the strobe powders seperate

I was so close to ordering the blush palette. Thank you so much. Turns out I have everything… my favorite palette is the bacon one. I am almost done with the bronzer (my favorite even if I keep buying others) and the powder. I see that they still have that palette on the site, and I think I will just re-buy it.
Golden Bronze Light is in the Unlocked Ghost Palette and the Edit Quad, and Transcendent Light is in the Tiger palette, so you probably have those too! :)

I’m not as much of a collector as you are, and I have 4/6 of the shades in this palette. I don’t have any of the shades in the sculpt palette, so I might be interested in that one. I would not be able to use the darkest shade in that one as a finishing powder, because I am pretty fair. I will tune in to see what you can do with it! 😁

I was more interested in the sculpted set too but they would have had me if they took the 3 bronzer shades and 3 blushes. Or maybe 2 blushes 2 bronzers a finishing powder and a strobe. But I prob essentially have them all really. We’ll see.

“golden bronze light” and “filtered light” are both in the Unlocked (normal and ghost edition) you showed in this video, the one that has mood flush and champagne strobe light :)!

Well I guess I'm glad I own the 2 edit palettes lol I love the packaging and that there's 6 shades id use daily without dipping into a different palette but I'll dip into one of the 6 6 pan face palettes from hourglass I have. I own the butterfly palette and the ghost palette and others of course. But I absolutely love hourglass face powders!! Beautiful ❤️ I have the 3 pan metallic strob light palette I haven't seen it available since I bought it so I'm glad I snatched it up way back when lol
They had the metallic highlighter palette up for awhile but took it down about three months ago.

The mini sculpture edit quad is perfection, but discontinued. I still reach for it over the Elephant 6 pan palette. I skipped on these two.
I've emailed hourglass more than once asking them to make customizable &refillable ambient powder palettes like their Curator eyeshadow palettes. I'd order so many backups of my favorite shades!!!
I will wait for next holiday launch. I want that tin packaging bcuz i did not buy last year😂 hopefully same vibe like ghost palette vibes and layout
I've just come off the UK Hourglass site and these two weren't on it. No surprise really, we always get HG after you guys (and, practically, everything else 🤪).
If I get one, it will be the sculpt palette. The blush/highlighter one is a shambles!!! In my verrrrry humble opinion, both palettes would have been better had they been quads. I need to tell the Hourglass people that I don't appreciate the strobe powders or, my crinkles don't 🤣🤣🤣

Are these palettes exclusive to the Hourglass site or will they come to Sephora?
Transcendent light lighting powder is also in the tiger palette. And the golden bronze light bronzer is in the ambient lighting edit mini- sculpture unlocked palette.
And the only shade I haven't been able to find on the hourglass website is filtered light so it may have been in an older holiday palette that I do not own.
Update: if you already own the ambient lighting edit unlocked palette or ghost unlocked palette, it has the filtered light powder, golden bronze light bronzer, mood flush blush, and champagne strobe light.
And the sculpture unlocked mini is a smaller version of the unlocked palette with soft light powder, golden bronze light, mood flush blush, and champagne strobe light

@Ally Kat I have both the sculpture and sculpture unlocked mini, the butterfly and elephant palettes. I love all of them and use them when I do my makeup. I was excited to see this release but I have every single shade of the blush and glow palette in other palettes lol. I think i will pass on the sculpt and set palette, which I have all but 2 shades in it so it isn't worth the 85 dollars for me. I hope they knock it out of the park this holiday season. Or at least make a permanent customizable palette, with magnetic refills, so we can choose which shades we want in our palette that best suits our skintone. Then make limited edition packaging with different designs for the holiday seasons. That would be the best thing ever in my opinion
