    Once again, I appreciate your supports. Thanks all the great videos you have put out to help me make informed decisions. That Hilti crate has to be one of the coolest things you have showcased. Awesome coverage!

    Hi may I suggest you get other concrete samples , high density vibrated mass concrete , something much harder than those blocks .I have often found sds preforming better in harder concrete as less energy is absorbed mass concrete wall versus block . Keep up the good work

    Thanks for the video. I actually bought the TE6-22 over the TE4-22 - as the 6-22 has the chipping function in addition to hammer drilling. I had the TE4 for the last 10 years before upgrading so just wanted to point this product difference out since it is a major difference outside the performance and specs you went over in the video.

    Maybe you said this in the video but TE6 advantages = Torque Clutch, removable chuck and chiseling capability. Put a 255ah battery on the 6 and don't look back

    I've used a bunch of sds hammerdrills but never a hilti. I wonder how they compare to other big names. I got a bunch of those rebar cutters and various other bits on home depot app for like 75% off about a month ago. Just mentioning it so others can keep an eye out for commonly used and abused consumables like that.

      Comparing to Bosch, Metabo (not Metabo HPT) and Makita: Hilti punches above it’s weight, power wise. By design it has noticeably less anti vibration. Key word is “by design”. The trade off is it is built to take a harder beating and will also keep dust out better. I took apart the Nuron 6-22 and the Makita XGT recently and it was interesting to see the very different approaches and also the evidence of entirely different priorities. Anti vibration requires a lot of empty space that Hilti choose to instead fill with a bigger motor + bigger fan and a tougher/stiffer housing. Instead of a standard two piece clamshell, they went the modular approach with $$$$ injection molding. Fit and finish is fantastic. Balance with the stupid Nuron batteries is…meh.

    So I was exited to see this head to head test as I own the TE6. So… since the TE4 is your favorite how do we know you was pushing down a little harder on the TE4 “your fav” vs the TE6. You say the motor being bigger and the batter may need an 8amp hour to be faster more efficient for the TE6-I don’t think the test is FAIR😂😂😂JUST KIDDING BUT GREAT VIDEO-MY FAV TOOL CHANNEL!

    • @natdenchfield8061
      @natdenchfield8061 2 роки тому

      I dont think he's saying it needs the 8amp hr battery to be more efficient or faster. He's saying for the same speed, it drains more energy from the battery, it's less efficient. I'd guess this would be because there is more loss in turning the bigger motor. The bigger motor is needed for harder jobs that need more torque but will make it less efficient for easier work - pretty much why brands make the different grades of tools, to pick the one where the job fits within it's optimal performance. Much like a 5ltr V8 will be inefficient compared to a 1.4ltr 4 cyclinder when going at constant speed on an easy road.. but the V8 will be able to handle acceleration when needed or tackle steeper hills where the 1.4ltr will fail.
