@@zulken79 water doesn't actually "cycle." The cycle is building up the good bacteria (I forgot the scientific names of them) in your filter, filter media, substrate, etc. Even if it wasn't 100% cycled, daily water changes will keep ammonia and nitrites low until the tank is cycled. Also, If the plants are rooted in good they will work. Even if the plants are eaten, it shouldn't hurt the goldfish. I do agree with the rest of your points though, this isn't a good permanent home, but temporarily it would work.
I want one but cats are ass holes. Shit with feet. I think cat owners shouldn't be able to let there cats roam free. Because my nabours think it's acceptable for there cats to attack your small animals are shit in your garden. I mentioned it once about haveing fish and the crazy cat lady replied with, my cat will have them it's not a good idia. I felt like saying how about keep your cat indoors are somewhere it's not bothering me are any one els at end of the day I can't just let my dog out to walk him self shit everywhere dig plants up kill small animals my dog would be taken away
