An easy one for aggressive players like myself is Ken. His kit gives him a lot of options for closing the gap while still giving him a lot of the staples like a fireball and a good anti air. He also has the dragon kick which is completely safe on block, making him fairly forgiving when learning
I’m “new” to playing street fighter always loved the franchise and I’ve picked up Guile and he seems fairly easy. Simic boom, blade to keep them away and when they get in flash. But that’s just the basics and I can’t wait to get more into his kit and explore what else he can do
@@onestep Exactly! The charge makes it hard to do what you’re trying to do and actually forces a lot of mistakes but I guess that’s part of the learning process
I normally pick my mains as Chun-Li & Cammy but I also feel I should have a beginner, fundamental character that can help me elevate my gameplan. So this video helps out alot! Good job!
@@wildrussiansnake8978 Press right, press down-right for a split second and back to right, press punch. The input is actually any right, any down, any right so R, DR, R works!
This is my first street fighter and I chose juri cuz she just seemed like the most fun to master she’s very difficult for beginners but I’m having fun getting better with her each day
I love Chun-Li! However I don’t think she’s super beginner friendly. She has charge inputs and air attacks that are very different from other characters. She’s great and has a tong of fun beginner aspects. But I just don’t think she’d be a great character for brand new players 😅
Been using Ryu since the original Street Fighter lol. Dabble a bit with Sakura whenever she's available. Felt like she's a shorter and weaker version of Ryu.
The game is awesome I got it last week and managed to get gold with Ken. I think he is a good choice to learn, but I am struggling with a few techniques I think I'll try Luke. This is first sf since 4 which I played as a scrubby kid.
Personally the list was good but dhalsim and gief were my head scratchers. Dint get me wrong i got your points but they by far arent the easiest. Ken i would say, ryu most def, marisa, manon if you truly believe gief is easier cause manon is just gief with better pokes, luke i agree. Gief i would legit put under hard because not everyone will SPD easily as some ppl see that input and scratch their head.
Gief is considered one of the hardest because you have to understand how to gapclose efficiently. He gets easily shut out by almost any intermediate player.
Sorr man, but Guile is by far the easiest character to play in the game. Very small amount of tools, and simple zoning gameplan. Same gameplan he has had since SF2.
@@onestep and that's the only barrier of entry for him. At the end of the day, Guile has easy to memorize tools, simple gameplan, and easy to execute (and really fast to execute) inputs once players get the rhythm with him. There's a reason Guile has been top tier consistently in most SF games since OG SF2, one reason being his ease of use overall.

Honda is great! He just has the charge inputs which can be quite difficult for most beginners, plus trying to keep a hang of his slap power up and projectile deleter can all just be a bit much for more new players. But I do agree, he’s pretty easy to pick up and have a good time with
@@onestep I value your opinion. I’m a try using them. Your vids are helping me get through these SF struggles but damn it’s tuff lol. I’m like if I can’t win wit rashid maybe I should try a different game. I will not sell my soul and use Ken lol
Not necessarily, Blanka has charge inputs tho which can be a bit difficulty for more beginners, plus all the gimmicks of his install super, Blanka Chan dolls, dash, lay down move, and more can just seem like a lot for more new players 😅

I’d say that’s a great choice as well!

True! But to be honest the charge inputs can be quite difficult for some people to get the hang of 😅 great pick though! Enjoy guile!

@@stevecelestin6716 use modern though and gg
Simic boom? Didn't know Guile cost UG

Thanks for watching!
@@onestep you’re welcome!
I think Cammy could be an easy pick. Easy and fast Combos :)
shes great! shes easy to pick up but i think shes hard to truly master as she punishable in more than a few ways.
@@onestep doesn’t change the fact that she’s still real easy to pick up
Judging by how i can't do a Z input to save my life, literally, i don't think she is that easy :(

Ya she’s a good choice! She’s also a blast to play!
I did the same, as I loved Hworang on Tekken. She's even harder when you get to the classic controller.
Ryu, Ken, Sakura, Sagat, Ibuki, Elana, Dudley, and Dahlism are my go to characters. I like Lilly too.
Love it 🔥
What do you think about Chun-Li? Is she a beginner friendly character? I hope she is because I really love her!

Ken is a great choice for sure!

Fair points. I could see why you chose those characters as well 😅
If they're a beginner and playing Modern then Gief is quite easy.
Gief is considered one of the hardest because you have to understand how to gapclose efficiently. He gets easily shut out by almost any intermediate player.
Ryu, Akuma, and Cammy. Even Ken (though he’s not really my favorite).
All great choices too
I find it hard as hell to hit Luke’s flash knuckle in the middle of my combos
Ya it can be a bit rough on the timing, but keep trying! You’ll get the hang of it 💪
Same for me, switching character cause of his stupid timing moves
i dont like the timing on this SF at all. I was much better at combos on 4

I mean his game plan is simple sure but his charge inputs can be quite difficult especially for new players, in the specials and the supers.

Another good info video here.
Appreciate it!👊
Im not super good at fighting games, i also dont like playing online. Any suggestions?

As a Honda main, not putting Honda on this list is comical

For me is cammy idk why but for me is so easy😅
Hey that’s always good too!
Lol. Actually laughed at that 4:05.
Mr. stretchy man!?
Honestly i would put Manon here
Grapplers seems easy at first but can be hard to master and get the wins over characters who have projectile game and charge moves 😅
Who is your favorite character to use?
Manon, juri, and Luke 🔥

P.S: you CANNOT combo in this game after eating an edible. You can get away with it in Strive, but not here
😂😂😂
Cammy is good so is Jamie
Agreed 🔥
Did blanka get more difficult to play or something? I remember him being super easy to play
