I have been playing Street Fighter (terribly) for 30 years. Within 3.5 minutes it occurred to me this is the most illustrative guide I've ever seen. Cheers for such great work!
If you're new to fighting games SF6 was a great choice since the skill-ceilling is so low. Once you feel more confortable with fighting games you can try others. Popular fighting games from easier to harder to master : SF6, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Tekken 7 and finally MK1.
Easier? Lol It's already the 50th game, I learned two different combos, I watched several videos of the game's basic fundamentals and nothing works, the game is full of tryhards, im going to uninstall this game and never touch it again. @@harry1178
The best fighting game for beginners is probably Samurai Shodown 2019 since that franchise doesn't care about combos. One heavy strike at the right moment can take away 25% of the opponent's health.
I'm really not sure if this video helped get me into Street Fighter or just made me give up haha. The depth of different mechanics is really cool and everything is well explained, thank you for the video! :)
About overdrive drive parry / attacks: For me (on PC, using an Xbox controller) pressing LB and LT triggers drive attack and drive parry resp. Edit: I'm using classic controls
I’m from tekken trying to learn SF. Had trouble with what u called Z inout This video just made it click, it’s the exact same as a tekken electrics 🤷🏻♂️ Probably won’t ever have trouble doing it now 😂
I've been using modern controls but I want to learn Classic controls since you seem to have access to more moves and a little more control with your characters.
As someone whose last experience with Street Fighter was SF2 Turbo, and with Mortal Kombat as my primary fighting game, SF6 feels completely different. The new mechanics are overwhelming, to say the least. After about two hours of playtime, I still feel like the moves don’t flow as smoothly together as they do in Mortal Kombat.
Drive Rush is hard, why nobody talks about the timing on the tap foward foward as everybody knows how to play a fighting game since birth XD. I starting loving SF6 btw.
there was a quality of life change pretty early on, you can just press mp+mk or parry instead! i’m definitely used to it now and don’t use the forward forward motion anymore, just note you cannot be holding any back input or it won’t work
I'm new on fighting games! I joined street fighter 6 cause its looks really cool, I'm playing classic controls cause is like the real way to play right? idk but I'm learning how to do the inputs and stuff is fun when you see things work!
There is a high block and a low block, high block is for overhead attacks such as jump attack or specific unique attacks that attack from above your head. Low block is for crouching attacks that hit your feet, usually all the crouch kick attacks are low attacks. If you’re just holding back you’ll get a high block, if you hold down and back or also known as down-back, you’ll block low attacks but be susceptible to overheads.
Such a kind hearted introduction to a game from such a ruthless genre
As a total beginner in fighting games, this is exactly what I needed. Thank you!
you got me into tekken 7 so it's nice to see this
Yeah and also Nicki Minaj is going to be on Tekken 7 around 2025
Same for me, im waiting for the release of Tekken 8 so in the meantime i'll be trying SF6.
Tekken so much worse than sf fr

Im trying my best to understand this so i can play this with my dad
TRUST THE WARCRAFT 3 PEON
Holding back won’t let me block and I can’t perform combos. Anyone know why?

I'm trying to get good at the game using Juris fighting style, but I just can't seem to get the controls 😔
¿How to change CPU level Street Fighter 6 in normal offline combats in Fighting Ground mode in PS4?
what's does the N stand for at 4:13?
Neutral. So not moving forwards or backwards. You just press the button.
