  • In this video, I cover my experience using the Apple Studio Display as a creative. I cover build quality, color accuracy, pixel density, image quality, and its speakers. Overall, it has been an incredible experience, and I can’t believe it took me so long to finally give it a try. I hope this video gives you more clarity during your purchase and that you enjoy it as much as I do.

    Coming from both a ProArt QHD and a Dough Spectrum One 4k 144hz, my new apple display monitor is amazing. I didn't even need to calibrate it like I need with the other monitors. No regrets at all.

    Thank you for a very well prepared and clearly delivered presentation, Cristian!
    I am considering the Apple “Mini” and their costly monitor as well, so your thoughtful overview has been immensely helpful.
    Question:
    Re FLEXISPOT Upgraded OC6 500LBS Big and Tall Office Chair Heavy Duty,4D Armrest Mesh Ergonomic Home Office Chair with High Back,Lumbar Support,Tilt Function,and 360°Swivel Wheels(Black)
    • Do you still ove it? There are so many in the market, how and why (your “5 Reasons”) did you choose it?
    Also, what is the advantage of using what appears to be a very clunky keyboard instead of the low profile units sold by Apple?
    Likewise for what appears to be a feature-laden mouse?
    Thank you and please continue making your very helpful…and professional videos!
    Best,
    Will

      Hi Will,
      I really appreciate that and I'm glad you found my video helpful. That's always the goal.
      Yeah! I still love it. My latest video talks about the Flexispot chair and desk if you want to look into the details but overall here's a few reasons:
      • It's really comfortable and it supports my posture quite a bit. My old chair used to give back pains after a while.
      • It's a great value for the money. Most high end chairs are quite expensive and some are great don't get me wrong but for the money the OC6 is hard to beat.
      • It has a good amount of adjustability to fit different body shapes.
      For transparency, they were sent to me by Flexispot but I only covered them in the channel because they're actually really nice.
      There's not many advantages of using a mechanical keyboard over a more low profile Apple Keyboard but it's all about preference. The one that I have has a really nice feeling while typing and you can customize every aspect of it. Keycaps, switches, etc. But it's a bit on the taller side and it can be uncomfortable to use if you don't use a wrist pad but I prefer this style of keyboards at the moment. The low profile ones are definitely a lot easier to use for most people.
      My mouse is one I would truly recommend you as it's probably the most comfortable mouse out there and it has a few buttons you can customize to do anything either globally or per application. The magic mouse is fine, I like it too but I mostly have it for my iPad.
      Thank you again for your kind words Will.
      Take care ✌🏻

      @ Thanks for you quick and honest reply; integrity is the rarest, and therefore most valuable and sought after trait on the Internet and you, my friend, have the goods. Continue as you are and watch the followers join you!
      I’ll check out your other videos.
      Thanks again!

    Bought it one month ago after my Huawei Mateview started failing on me after 2.5 years.
    No regrets

      It’s awesome. Which one you got Standard Display or Nano texture?

    • @ChrisPTY507
      @ChrisPTY507 14 днів тому

      @@CristianSilvagnoli I went for the standard. No need for nano texture since I work on a dark room and my windows are closed and covered by curtains. Also nano texture decreases sharpness by a slight bit and cleaning it is not as a straightforward as standard display

      @ChrisPTY507 I get that. Same reason why I chose mine. 👌🏻 However, for MacBooks, it seems like a really nice upgrade. I may go that route whenever it’s time to upgrade again.

      @@CristianSilvagnoli hopefully the next version of studio display gets at least 120hz. It should be since thunderbolt 5 allows it and the current SD couldn’t because of technical limitations on Thunderbolt connections.

    considering to get one for my mac mini m2 pro base model.
    have you experienced any eye strain/eye fatigue on this monitor, especially after prolonged hours of reading texts, web browsing, reading articles, etc?

    • @CristianSilvagnoli
      @CristianSilvagnoli  14 днів тому +1

      You’ll love it.
      Honestly, not at all. However, I also use blue lens glasses + a monitor light every time I’m in front of the Studio Display which helps with eye fatigue. But no issues since I’ve bought it and I spent many hours at a time working on it.

      The light bar is the BenQ Screen Bar Halo. I have it linked in the description ✌️

    I'm using a very ordinary Samsung 24 inch at the moment and seriously considering this now after watching your video! One of my friends has the ASD and mentions slight high-pitched intermittent buzzing from the back of the ADG power socket. Do you have such problem in your case?

    • @CristianSilvagnoli
      @CristianSilvagnoli  11 днів тому +1

      You’re going to love that upgrade!
      Not at all, my Studio Display has been operating perfectly fine since I got it. Maybe your friend’s got damaged while moving it? It’s possible but it’s not an issue I’m aware of. If it makes you feel better, you can always add Apple Care + to the Studio Display but in reality, this monitor is built to last a very long time. You should get it 😎

      @ I will definitely get it. I’m an architect so need something kind to my eyes spending long hours on design, colours and graphics. I also got M4 MacBook Pro last week so definitely needs an upgrade. Thanks a lot for this video again. :)

    Pricey, but it is the best monitor I've ever owned! I gave up high refresh rate for the same reasons, bad color accuracy and at the time low resolutions.
    I'd love to see the Studio Display Gen 2 become an OLED panel, that would make the upgrade worth it for me personally.

    • @CristianSilvagnoli

      Exactly! I can’t believe it took me this long to finally buy it. Makes editing a dream. I’ve been considering a second one lately but they’re too expensive for a dual setup at the moment. 😆
