Figure 8 on biner all day. It's "Super good enough"😂. Seriously that rope will blow up at the knot before the carabiner even tweaks let alone breaking it. And at the loads we are doing, lol...come on. Any you guys dropping 30 to 40 feet on a pulled bolt after a fall, then whipping into the wall. Loaded with rope? No? Well, I mean. 😂 that's what this equipment is made for. So a light side load on a firth hitch holding 200 pounds trying to as still as possible. Then a Smooth decent 20 feet down. Nope even locking it up hard on the decent or slippery deck on the top won't do a thing. Not even close.
I prefer to just jump down to about 3ft off the ground from 25ft, just give me 22ft of slack and AIRBORN and hope it holds so I can just dangle there while I'm trying to regain feeling in the lower portion of my body and quietly wisper for help so I don't mess up the other hunters. And just tie the ole loop swoop and pull bunny ears for all my knots, add a drop of super glue for extra strength and the most important step you can't forget this or you'll die, you HAVE TO SLAP IT AND SAY YUP, THAT AINT GOING NO WHERE!.
I like the warning you gave us.
🤣 You know someone would sideload a carabiner if they didn't know
Also called a scaffold knot
Negative ghostrider! A scaffold knot has a 3rd wrap a poachers knot is only two. Pretty much identical though
Love keep it up
Thanks man I appreciate it!!
I use a steel climbing carabiner on my set up.
Isn't that a barrel knot?
Not at all, that is a double fisherman knot
You're close but incorrect. Thanks for watching
double sheetbend?
❤
What is it used for?
A knot for hunting
Bondage play with the Missus.
Isn’t that a scaffold knot?? Asking for a friend
It's basically the same except the scaffold has 3 wraps instead of two.

I tie a 5 wrap noose cause I'm ridiculous
Better safe than sorry. As the old saying goes if you don't know a knot tie alot
I made mine with the buffalo knot
