Great performance 🎸
I wish more soundboard recordings had been made, but nevertheless I'm glad we have these audience tapes. More than 50 years later, this music still sounds remarkable.
sir they do have a soundboard recording of this. it hasn't been released yet because experience hendrix does not own the rights. a film and recording crew followed hendrix in the beginning of this tour and recorded them.
@sandpiper9288 So true!
The greatest guitarist ever. I have 40 albums and a 100 cd's.
I love how Jimi tells the crowd what they will be hearing that night lol. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the show. 👍💜💜💜💜

Waiting for an official Black Gold release to this day. Huge fan that appreciates all the efforts to keep his music alive.
Is there any updates on the realse? I've heard people say that Janie was going to do it at some point. Or is there any songs from the album that are out? I know suddenly November morning is on the album
@@joeythewise. official release date is set for December 13th, 2023
@@davidkey8172 got a source for that date? can't find anything saying that
@@JamesBur I’m just fuckin’ with ya. But do not expect a release of the “Black Gold” tapes anytime soon as a SINGLE release I have a insider source that claims the songs contained in Black Gold will be piecemealed out on various compilations.
That’s all I can say
Jimi Hendrix Is FOREVER 🎸
This gig has the ultimate version of 'I don't Live Today'. Astonishing improvisation.
just imagine if it was same soundquality like winterland or LA forum. My brain would explode!
You're right, this version of I Don't Live Today is pretty intense.
Rest in powerful peace🙏

He never said that.

He definitely said that .. ✨💗✨
@@lovewavesdriftingforever I'm aware of this. Have been for over thirty years.
@jason smith yes he did. He also said if their were electric guitars in them cotton fields, a whole lot of things would've been straighten out.
Amazing concert man! Love Hendrix! His guitar playing skills are second to none! He means everything to me!
Love this version of I Don’t Live Today. Copenhagen 10th Jan 69 is epic too.
GOAT on the Guitar
💕💖🤘FOREVER JIMMY HENDRIX
Hendrix will always be the Master to me , way ahead of his time and gone to soon !
It went down one night in Frankfurt in 1969: floating for eternity through the ether- and then came UA-cam and a recording someone made- and voila! 🎉
We have lift off!
Jimi Hendrix- we love you forever. Wherever you are now, playing music, or just one with the universal musical vibrations. 🔵 🌟 🌠 💫
You live forever! 🕉

Hi my friends, please Jimi is written with an "m" only; (Jimmy Page with two). Cheers from France. PS: Jimi hasta la muerte. 🎸 🎶
@@angelstone3861 merci l'ami pour la précision 👍
Wow! Jimi must have been in good spirits here. The energy is off the charts compared to that subpar Stockholm performance on UA-cam. This is Jimi at his best here.
Jimi forever, thanks to recording technologies.
Jimi Hendrix is the best
Not a bad night, Great Fun....!
Great Show !!!
I always forget how good Hendrix concerts are I find he keeps getting better towards even the end of his life
@Phubby He really did get better and better. He was very young and the 3 1/2 years from Are You Experienced until his death, he grew a lot as a player. 3 1/2 years of constant touring and playing every night really pushed him. It’s so sad that accident took him. I love him so much.
@@joshuajkoplin yeah I’ve listened to a lot of his stuff now and the 1970 stuff is definitely my fav

I am in a good mood today, to wake up with a new live of Jimi is magnificent. Rock N'Roll 🎸 🎶 ♥️
that climb in the solo on Foxey Lady when it hits the brain melting peak and then when they jump right back into rocking the parts, heavy rock ‘n roll, long live Jimi🎸🔥
Eu também amo Jimi Hendrix!!!!!!
The best !🔥🔥🔥
Nice!
Hendix, el hombre hecho leyenda
It's a travesty that Hendrix management back then didnt have all his concerts professionally recorded with either audio or video. We only have this audio because fans recorded this with their own limited recorders at the time. An artist like Hendrix only comes around once in a lifetime!
They filmed 4 shows from this tour, I’m guess the audio too.
Nobody wanted their equipment to explode while recording Jimi.
It was like that for alot of artists back then. Just enjoy. At least with today's tech it can be cleaned up a bit. I'm grateful somebody hit the record button on their tape deck.
To be fair they probably thought Jimi would have lived longer so they could record him at a later date
Where is that footage and audio then??
Great Music, Great talent! New Concert, amazing!
Really wish we had better recordings of him playing Come On, live.
Ja 😢
I wish more artists had uploads like this.

Years ago, this would have gotten millions of views.
This video has been up for 2 weeks and has a mere 15,000 views.
The problem is Experience Hendrix. Janie Hendrix and others have bled every ounce of magic out of Jimi's talents and his amazing art.
They've sucked out everything special. And now, they reap what they sow: Hendrix videos and releases get only a relative handful of views and listens.
New generations are NOT listening to Hendrix in big numbers.
Jimi's legacy is dying! Can you believe that? His contemporaries will live on, and HIS legacy is being snuffed out by his 'family' and a greedy corporation.
Congratulations, Janie. Nice job, Eddie (Kramer). In another generation, few will have even heard of Jimi Hendrix. You've managed to kill off a legend. That's quite a feat.
You've MANAGED to do this. Jimi would have wanted you to leave it alone.
😡
Jimi can`t be touched. Stadiums above every one else. Born with magic.
Thrilled to have found this. I was there as a freshly minted 16 yo. Who the f*** cares what it sounds like! Color me happy!
Any experts out there know if recordings like this can be restored or whatever the terminology is to make it super clean? I'm glad they put these out.
Charlie Miller does amazing work for Grateful Dead recordings...and out of love. He's a pro audio guy by trade...the Hendrix family should hire him...his work speaks for itself...he's well known to Deadheads... But at the end of the day--Great music comes through in the hiss of a raw tape and i'll listen on repeat!
Just about all of 'Black Gold Suite' is already out on various compilations.
In 1970, while Jimi was putting together a new studio album, he was also developing ideas for his "Black Gold Suite". A home demo tape is in the possession of the Hendrix estate and we impatiently await its release. One teaser track "Suddenly November Morning"/"Drifting" was included as the coda on the 2010 "West Coast Seattle Boy" box set.
Is the quality of the EP/LP better than this? It sounds mono and very low quality but the performance is epic.
as if they don't have enough money to fix this audio! I have heard 100+ year old recordings of Edvard Grieg that were better than this after being touched up.
Its mono and it sounds great. They don't have a stereo version.
🤘🏻😎🎸 🥃
This is what im talkin about.
One rainy Wish🌈🔷
Saludos 🤘
IMO...this short European tour they made in early 1969, featured Jimi at his very best...and this, in spite of the fact that there was terrible tension within the band. Jimi was bringing it every concert during that stretch! And his American concerts later that year were also exceptional.
He was on fire 🔥
Question ❓ who else played with so much passion ? Tell me !!
00:34:12 Little Wing
our family was living in Heidelberg 68-72, my brother bought an enlarged photo of Jimi that the high school photographer took while attending this very show! Yes we are Army brats
I went to that show with the photographer. “Helped” him in the darkroom when he processed his film and popped off some prints. Mako Koiwai (went by Fred at the time) was his name.

Love Jimi, love the Electric Ladyland album. Love this cut.....but for sound quality this poor, why bother? Makes no sense.
Because it’s all we have. His fans weren’t as dedicated to recording his stuff as the deadheads were. So all we have is the occasional tape recording from someone in the audience. It’s definitely not the worst I’ve heard but at least it’s something right? We got a like 10 minute little wing so that’s gotta be worth something
@@lillykoroluk6620 💯 real
He dedicated to Cream who just broke up and plays sunshine of your love
I will pay good money for a film of this show !!

Mr Jimi Hendrix be looking kinda smexy there
First like and comment
The playing makes me appreciate Jimi but the recording quality makes me appreciate the Dead a lot more than I already do
It sounds great on my Bose wireless headphones.

Great fun ! Anybody nows where to find records of his very first concerts in Paris 1966 an Munich ?
More 70 stuff pls
Indianapolis is one of his best concert, but the audio quality is very poor... such a great soul never come again
Quick! Get me Charlie Miller! (~);}

Hendrix was told how to play and with who. A great talent gone to waste in that time period. He wanted to play with buddy Miles and Billy Cox. And Miles Davis just imagine what they would of created. So sad.

Que sonido tan malo, remastericenlo primero y luego si lo publican.
Me: I've got a recording of Jesus delivering a sermon!
You: How's the sound quality?
You are blocking and dmca-ing Jimi into irrelevance. 🤷♂️
Adopted daughter of Al Hendrix, Janie Hendrix, No matter your endless desire for money Jimi would never have allowed such a poor audience recording like this to have been released. Hendrix was a perfectionist and is NOT a blood relative of yours and you know it.
That means little...Jimi's spirit has moved on...I love discovering these lost concert tapes, even if they are not good fidelity. And Janie did not release this! It is a bootleg recording.
There is a rumour that Jimi was murdered by his manager
Just a rumor, no evidence to back that up at all.
Bad recording
was für ein beschissener Sound!
This recording sounds horrendous and should have never been released.
Nope...it is golden, despite it's lower fidelity. It is still the incredible Hendrix, and I am grateful to hear this.
@@curbozerboomer1773 stop lying to yourself, because the sound quality is hideous. This is a really lousy bootleg
