By far for me my favorite hack or tip is the info about Snap Mat! I had no idea. New to Cricut and I was troubled by not being able to place my designs and smaller fabrics just so. Game changer for me! Thanks so much. Binge watching your videos! Thanks!
Much quicker hack for removing the canvas grid is to click the empty square at junction of the vertical and horizontal grid rulers. Click again for larger grid, and again to return to normal grid!
I loved these. The ones I never tried but will is weeding on the mat, and the guide that won't cut. The one I use all the time is measuring by folding the tshirt in half. Thanks!
The mat under the CRICUT to line up the glitter HTV was new to me! I’ll be trying and using it for all my HTV. Using the mini press to remove HTV mistakes!!! Gonna use it on a red T-shirt that I refuse to throw out!!! Thank you, Tanner!!!
For # 11 you can change the grid on the mat easier by just clicking on the clear little white box where the rulers intersect in the upper left hand corner. These are great hacks, I was familiar with all oif them and more. Yes, please do an indepth video of as many different mats as possible.
I have often wondered when using the snap mat why people don’t hang the mat from a command hook and take the picture in front of them… no getting the mat dirty on the floor!
New mat... cut contact paper (any brand clear light tac) to 12x12 and add it to your mat, sticky side up. Peel back the liner and add your material to cut. As it loses the stick, replace the contact paper. It extends te life of your mat and saves you money.
From the beginning for me i keep a Matt just for weeding that way my cutting Matt’s keep their grip longer ! Another hack i do is keep my HTV film from previous iron on decals and use it when i weed . It pulls the weeded pieces right off my weeding pen. Another hack i made was i cut out from card stock circles, squares and rectangles sizing from 1” up until 12”. I then had them laminated . Punch a hole in each shape and have the same shapes on a string that holds them together but let’s me have enough “play” to use to determine sizes on my projects . Saves me time from “”sizing” decals on the machine. Big time saver .
Make sure if you use baby wipes to clean your mat that they are alcohol free and have no added lotions. I love the hack to find the font in welded images. I have needed this numerous times. This hack is so much easier than going back through my notes for all of the projects I have made. I started taking notes because I could never remember the fonts after welding. 🙌🏼♥️ What material do you recommend to make the best stickers? What does everyone print on? Then do you put another material over the top of your printed image? I haven’t made stickers yet but I have had some requests for some. I would love to know what works best for those who have mastered their sticker making skills. I’ve had a hard time using the 12x24 mats and keeping my material straight. I can line up the top with ease but sometimes it goes sideways the lower I get. I started loading them sideways. If you line it up along the side of the mat it will stay straight. It works for me anyway. Using the cardstock setting on HTV reminds me of the first time I used HTV. I wasn’t happy with my first cut so I selected more pressure on my machine and it cut through the protective film and gave me pieces. I probably made 2-3 shirts before I realized it would’ve been easier to not have everything in pieces. So more pressure may work for this hack as well. This video was amazing. I knew a lot of these hacks but I still learned a lot as well. Thanks for sharing. 👏🏼
Tanner, brilliant Hacks, yes please try out more TikTok Hacks, love them. My favourite was the wheels (do you have a link for them on amazon? I would really appreciate it) do you think the machine would be as stable when it's cutting?
With t shirts and any fabric that I'm going to use htv on, I do the hack you use but I also put horizontal central line in as well so I get a central point on the top
I already use the Nicapa mats and love them. I will definitely use the paint stick method as I have put my maker on legs for space saving. I am on my way to Walmart now and will puck one up.
Hack #12, an even quicker way to get no grid - simply click on the square above the vertical grid markings - by clicking on it, you can cycle thru the different markings -
I always struggle with the cut setting with making paper stickers. What should I use? It always cuts through both layers making it very difficult to peel the backing off.
Have you ever tried doing a small offset around your words just enough to where the offset is not touching the next letter. Then start out by just weeding the offset then the extra all the way around. You are then just left the words You haven’t lost a letter or the dot above the I.
Tanner, I found taking wet paper towel w/ lots of dish soap. Then rinse. Let dry. Yes I agree I don’t have to leave but it just works better for me. What do you feel about this?
I have a hack for you. Your rolls of vinyl in your metal baskets are falling all over. If you get some small bungee cords and stand the rolls up and clip the cords to section them off!
If you only have a Cricket Explorer Air, not maker, can’t you also use the contact paper like stabilizer, to cut fabric? I’ve never even used fabric because of needing the stabilizer but this seems to solve that issue …I think?
My cricut, bought used, came with a 12x12 and a 12x24. It also came with 2 fine blade holders and one deep one. No manual. It also came with a scoring tool.
I do many crafts. My mat fell on the ground and knocked a container of beads at the same time. Beads all over my mat. Baby wipes dragged straight down got the beads off and then I rubbed in circular motions and it’s almost too sticky.
change your image to cut rather than print then cut. but.. your image will be all one color you won't have the colors from an image. you will need to change it into a SVG. look on you tube to learn how to do that.
I like the hack where you stick contact paper to the mat so the felt won't leve stuff on mat
Thank you!
Loved how you slid the vinyl under the cricut machine to be able to place it on the mat! That was an Awesome hack!
Thank you!
OMG!! That new window is a game changer!!! Thank you!! And that Guide tool!
You are so welcome!

Love the font locator. So many times I have tried to look for ones that I used and don’t remember. Thanks for the hack.
Anytime!
PLEASE DO A FULL VIDEO ON DIFFERENT MATS!!;

Late to the party, per usual! Afternoon from Maine
Hello there!
I am a newbie. I have learned a lot.
Welcome!
I love all your hacks. Where did you get the “Airforce Wife” graphic?
I already use the Nicapa mats and love them. I will definitely use the paint stick method as I have put my maker on legs for space saving. I am on my way to Walmart now and will puck one up.
Wonderful!
Hack #12, an even quicker way to get no grid - simply click on the square above the vertical grid markings - by clicking on it, you can cycle thru the different markings -
When I use heat to remove vinyl, the adhesive is always left behind. Do you not have that problem? Do I have the heat too high?
I always struggle with the cut setting with making paper stickers. What should I use? It always cuts through both layers making it very difficult to peel the backing off.
Have you ever tried doing a small offset around your words just enough to where the offset is not touching the next letter. Then start out by just weeding the offset then the extra all the way around. You are then just left the words You haven’t lost a letter or the dot above the I.
Could you cover this with washable mod podge or would it take the color off
I still have 8 1/2 by 12 Cricut mats. Is there a way I can use them in my Circut Air 2? TYIA
Thank you for the helpful hacks
You're welcome!
Tanner, I found taking wet paper towel w/ lots of dish soap. Then rinse. Let dry. Yes I agree I don’t have to leave but it just works better for me. What do you feel about this?
Snap mat works on an iPad also.
I have a hack for you. Your rolls of vinyl in your metal baskets are falling all over. If you get some small bungee cords and stand the rolls up and clip the cords to section them off!
Thank you!
Please review the “new” off brand mats
Which one!
It doesn't mess up the mat to. Use Sharpe item on it
If you only have a Cricket Explorer Air, not maker, can’t you also use the contact paper like stabilizer, to cut fabric? I’ve never even used fabric because of needing the stabilizer but this seems to solve that issue …I think?
they were all awesome hacks 😊
Glad you think so!
Snap mat seems great, can it be done on an ipad or is it just the iPhone?
IPad has it
off the subject of hacks. How do I change my measurnents from "cm" to "inches"?
What's the font used for "Airforce" Wife?
My cricut, bought used, came with a 12x12 and a 12x24. It also came with 2 fine blade holders and one deep one. No manual. It also came with a scoring tool.
I don't think they come with a manual..I got mine new an it didn't have one . Just steps to setup
I do many crafts. My mat fell on the ground and knocked a container of beads at the same time. Beads all over my mat. Baby wipes dragged straight down got the beads off and then I rubbed in circular motions and it’s almost too sticky.
loved it
So glad you loved it!
TANNER, I found away to get out of weld.

@@flyc3 I can't find the non branded embossing tools/foil tool/fabric tools/rotary cutters etc... ive only found the 3 blades
Cut something with the one with the wheels hello.
I thought your hacks were 'fabulous' my friend!
Thank you!
Help I can't get my cut and print to turn off
What do mean? Cut and print not turning off?
change your image to cut rather than print then cut. but.. your image will be all one color you won't have the colors from an image. you will need to change it into a SVG. look on you tube to learn how to do that.
Either you didn't remove to background before saving image and convert to svg file or you need to change it from print and cut to cut file.
When I go to the picture and add it to the canvas it won't let me cut it say it's printed already
@@Cabochons you should be able to press the already printed button ( not sure if that pops up on iPad?) and then continue
Is this a re-run? 😅
I think this is a compilation of previous videos
🥰👍🔥
Thanks for watching!
