How to make a working creeper farm in Minecraft Bedrock. This is the most insane, best, most efficient and easiest creeper gunpowder farm in minecraft bedrock 1.20 / 1.21. It works on MCPE, PC, PS4, XBOX, Mobile and Nintendo switch. It works on all Minecraft versions including 1.20+ and will give you 10+ stacks gunpowder per hour!

2 chests
1 hopper
1 rail

4 redstone torches
4 pistons
4 observers
3 glass blocks
1 lever
1 trident (The trident can have any level of durability because it will not break in the farm)
4 hay bales
5 torches
2 water buckets
2 stacks and 2 ladders (1 stack = 64, so you need 130 ladders total )
1 stack and 37 stairs
30 stacks and 1 wooden trap doors
About 11.5 stacks of buttons
About 20 stacks of any slabs
About 82 stacks of any solid blocks (Examples: Smooth stone or cobblestone)

For those not wanting to make the trident killer, you can replace all those redstone components in the material list with four campfires and it’s still afkable

This thing is a beast, took about 4 to 5 solid hours to build in survival, only because i had 90% of the the materials in my base already.

This farm works so well seems like a lot of work but knocked it out w another guy in like 2.5 hours, spawns all mobs but mainly creepers, think that’s due to not having trapdoors under the roof.

Tne trapdoors on the roof and floor and the 5 layers made my jaw drop and spent 4 hours building it(hardcore survival)😭

Use mud blocks instead of hay, mud blocks look to be full block height, but are actually slightly smaller, so hoppers can collect items through them. No need for minecart hopper.

@ametscastellanoscasanova1064 pointless. If you want them to not die, just make sure the fall is no greater than 23 blocks. If for some reason the fall has to be more than 23 blocks, then you go up 23 blocks and put in a water layer or vines that resets their fall distance.
The point of something like this isn't for the xp, it is for the loot.
Just built 5/12/24 works in survival bedrock relms 1.20.8. Having a couple other mobs spawn in it but mainly creepers. Definitely worth building. Its a heck of a process but worth it for the afk exp and gunpowder ^-^ i built mine over a deep ocean. Also im on phone and xbox ^-^

W farmmmm. for some reason the trident kept despawning idk why probably a me issue. we just used campfires instead because we already have a good xp farm
how did you use the campfires did you just put them on the hay bales ?

Maybe it will take you about two to three hours, and if you're too slow, maybe four or more.
@@Razil_3 already finished it, it took me longer getting the supplies but the blocks where kinda nothing but I need the top top layer for farm so I can run it in the day and I also tested it in a creative work so I built it twice

for everyone that is wondering (probably no one) it takes 6 stacks of blocks to make 2 stacks of trapdoors

He always does it wrong, he just says what he thinks and that's it.
Also, the thumbnail shows him putting trap doors around the edges of each layer, but he doesn’t in the video

This 100% works, but sometimes you will get other mobs like zombies and skeletons but other than that, more creepers will spawn more than mobs in my case.
You made a mistake. My farm is only creepers.
just go back up to the 5th floor and make sure you put trapdoors on the actual roof and that should stop them from spawning if you did it right

I tried both things and the gunpowder was nearly the same. But I could earn bones and rotten flesh when I left out the trapdoors
The trap doors make the creepers fall down faster bc they think it’s solid block

Hmm that's a nice idea, that might speed up rates of the farm. But I hope over a long period of time, cats don't fall off from the platform.

@@LotusKatGaming Creepers can sometime push the cats (when they spawn next to them).
That way they can get pushed into a hole and could fall and die in the trident chamber.

I'm saying it might be possible if you're ready to sacrifice some spawning spaces. Either way only way to know is build 2 different prototypes and test them

what are the rates if it was built over land
first time ever getting this far in a bedrocks world cause i mainly play java, never thought bedrock was THIS annoying. 4th time rage quitting bc my blocks place wierd and my villagers keep getting jobs that are like 40 miles away from them.
Im still having a lot of spiders spawn and even tried replacing the buttons with fence post then glass neither worked. So not sure what to do to stop spiders from spawning.

You need the roof because the sunlight prevents the mobs from spawning and also 3 layers are good

If you don't use slabs then you'll get pillager patrols on the roof and that can reduce the rates of your farm.
Any non spawnable block so yes slabs also glass blocks leaf blocks trap doors carpets etc.

fought the wither 8 times under ground on my buddies realm, I have 3 double chests full of it

if your getting zombies skeletons etc, the reason is because he forgot to add 1 more bit the large platform at the very top your supposed to place trap doors on the roof of it just how he did on the lower levels you don’t need to collect any extra trap doors btw

Fellas, mine spawns other mobs. Did everything the same, but put on the roof buttons instead of slabs. Does it make a difference?
Yup
Other mobs need a 1.8 block height to spawn slabs prevent it buttons give room for other mobs to spawn

Could you use carpets?
Can anyone help me? I put the trap doors on the ceiling as well but there’s zombies spawning on the little surfaces of the trapdoors in the holes. Can I use anything else instead of them that won’t allow them to spawn on them?
If anyone else has this problem, ladders work the same, just a slight delay but they fall all the way down as well.
Also AFK chamber: go halfway to the side of the 3rd layer and block out 20 blocks, make it landable and cover it (traddoors wall for me so I can open it easier), it’ll help with the rates.
Very good farm if done correctly, if anything besides creepers are spawning then there’s a missing trapdoor or button somewhere

it will not break because of durability but it will eventually disappear once in a while. thats a problem with this sorts of trident killers. just throw a different one in then.

Why use haybales??
So the creepers will get less fall damage
Hay bales nerf fall damage so you get more experience from killing the creepers
If you place water that'll also work just fine. I recommend putting buttons a couple blocks above piston inside the drop chute and placing one water above them. That way creepers would never die from fall damage. In case of hay bales they can still die if they land on extended arm of a piston.

The best gunpowder farm I've ever seen. I built only four layers with trapdoors in only 3 layers then also it produces 800 gunpowder per hour.

It’s not a perfect square. Just shave off or add a side to your layer while remaining within the water catcher below.

Yes they don’t spawn really at all over land
You would need to spawn Proof so much surface land and any caves or tunnels underground. This is why most ppl suggest to build over the ocean as very little spawn proofing needs to be done 😊
