How to make a simple yet efficient gunpowder and ghast tear farm in minecraft bedrock 1.21. This farm is for MCPE, XBOX, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch and windows 10 edition. This ghast farm is easy to make and almost uses no materials.

This farm works in 1.21 and 1.20 (Also on lower versions :) )

The minimum simulation distance on me is 5 chunks so far do I have spawn proof and could I extend the farm.

Notes:-
•Don't forget to place slabs nearby the farm as shown in the video to increase the ghast spawn rate(by 20-30%)
•It requires nearly 40 stacks of glass
•It'll produce 15 stacks per hour(with looting 3 sword and soul speed 3 enchanted boots).
•If you want to build this farm in survival mode, it'll take more than 2-3 hours to complete excluding the time taken for glass smelting.
Pro Tips:-
•Keep placing torches on the ground while breaking blocks(50×50) at y=119 to prevent skeletons from 'killing you'.
•You can use soul speed 3 and replace the ground with soul sand(it'll take nearly 40 stacks).... This will increase your overall speed.
•Use scaffoldings instead of cobblestone to reach y=119 and save time.
• You can smelt sand near the farm to save more time.

Great early game low expense farm. Works great at 119 elevation. A good 50x50 block was perfect. Looting 3 sword and two stacks in 15 min of slashing. Bonus I refilled all my minding gear at same time haha. Props.
I made a fun change that actually boosts rates quite a bit. Make your entire floor out of Packed Ice. If you spam jump you will run extremely fast! You can also thrown down a boat on the ice and travel around even faster, the boat also negates hunger. Faster you cut them down, faster new ones spawn.

This thing is functional and satisfying. The only negative is the noise when the ghasts spawn in the walls. They sound like tortured cats.

Fun fact, the noise the ghosts make is actually one of the designers noises his cat made and he recorded them. Don't believe me look it up

You need WAY more than 10 stacks of glass. It’s a 50x50 area, which is 2500 glass or 39 stacks of glass, not 10

hey man can you please make a 3x3 sliding door theres like none on youtube for it, and the ones that do only opens 2 blocks and not three. its the type of door that brings blocks of the door with slime and honey
Cool farm...def ways you can optimize and make automatic with more resources. Would probably be worth it though in the end :) Still an awesome simple GP farm for sure and the Tears too!

They were spawning below me because my 119 wasnt as high above the ground as yours so i uade to build the same thing but 3 blocks tall twice under it and now its perfect

However the material list is extremely inaccurate in terms of the glass. I needed ~40 stacks give or take.
You definitely need a lot of food when using the farm, while running.

Yeah, I did the math on a 50x50 square and it comes out to 2500 blocks which equals 40 stacks of glass. Thanks for the heads up!

This is the best farm ever 10/10. But i was stupid when i did this because i flew really far away from my ender portal and forgot to save cords. So now when i want to go back to the farm i cant bc im stupid😢😢. DONT TO SAME MISTAKE AS ME

Theres definitely spider farm builds out there. If you dont mind looking at other content creators but if ur like me at subway and dont switch up. Then yeah may wanna ask a few times lmaoo😅
Wonder could this work with tracks to collect the ghasts in minecarts to bring them to a killing chamber? Or just move them off to a side instead of having to chase them down when they spawn.
Would work theoretically but will cost way more materials.
Put wither rose in every 4-5 blocks across the spawn platform. Minecart with hopper below the spawn platform connecting to a chest? It would probably work? Then all you need to do is AFK. Never try this but it could probably work.

Hey im tryna place glass but ghast spawn and they break it every time and i can't put it on peaceful because one of your farms requires an endermite is their a way to not make them break it

You have built it near the basalt deltas, move the farm away from it

Yes that might be the reason the other thing you have to do is make sure you are on simulation distance 4

Lava won’t kill them. May be able to do something with cactuses though
idk if i did something wrong but i needed 40 stacks of coal, still working will tell you if it works
For smelting the glass? Next time I recommend using lava buckets as fuel you can easily refill buckets at the nether.

@@OopsMyZen I use minecarts with activator rails at each end of line, I have them spread out about 5 blocks apart. And hoppers under the activator rails to collect the drops. The activator rails pushes them up and suffocates them in the ceiling

Yeah you can use a minecart collecting systhem to fully automate it but idk if it has better rates than the creeper farm
