I’ve been a barber for 20+ years and own my own shop. What you said about there being no wrong way to do it is absolutely true!!! Whatever works for you to make your customers happy can’t be wrong!! Great video as always!!! Barber love from Jeff’s Barber Shop in Michigan!!!☘️💈☘️💈☘️💈☘️💈☘️💈☘️💈☘️💈☘️
Watching this reaffirmed some of the techniques I've been implementing for years. One of the main ones being to go cut and then go back through working with how the client's hair lays and grows. When I was first taught they always said to cut everything in uniform but that doesn't work with most hair/head shapes and hair textures. I would recommend this channel over any others to really get some understanding of how to customize your services for each individual client. 🖤🖤🖤
No wonder everyone on Reddit seems to rave about this channel it’s amazingly informative. I also like the pink comb quite the choice to see hair better.
That's probably because he's a much better hairstylist than a barber. His fades is subpar. Just look at how uneven and unsmooth the fade is in this video. The fade would also have looked better if not so much was taken in where it meets the top of the scalp. If I got that fade myself, I would be upset.
As a person who has never left a barbershop completely happy with his haircut, it s inspring and satisfying to watch such a really talented and attentive artist.
Slow day in my shop so im watching this video. Been in the bussiness for 45 years, i own two barbershops with 4 barbers in each. We all watch these videos and speaking for myself you are teaching a old dog new tricks! Thank you!
Love you been doing hair for 22 years in the barbershop you're exactly right about your own way of doing things you just figured it out don't you I love watching your videos
I have my own Barbershop now and this man was my inspiration, every time I saw him cutting hair or one of the scumbags!. I felt ,"this is what I want you do for life"!. All a SCHOREM videos are awesome!! I've learned so much I hope they keep on doing more informative videos!
MUCH RESPECT on that scissor work!! I'm not going to lie...At first, when I saw some of the scissor techniques I was thinking WTF?! But having seen your other videos, I had to tell myself: "He knows what he's doing!" Sure enough, the end result was phenomenal. Excellent work, sir!
Out of all the videos of yours I have watched, this cut is definitely my favorite style. It also happens to be the only one that I think would look good on my head.
Bertus,I am so thankfull for these Classes/tutorials!! I'm starting at the barberstation academy in September,.Already bought my clippers, trimmer and Shavette. I'm also giving my brother in law an italian shave with my Shavette (without any cuts and he's still alive :) My idea ("IDE" :P) was to already start with this part of the lessons so i have more time to focus on the haircuts. These tutorials are great for me to have understanding where to start and what to do when cutting hair!! Also going to visit your shop soon ! Thnx again, Bram
The "right" way to do it, is the way that *you* know how to do it, so that it comes out with the end result that makes your client happy. This is true just as much in cutting hair, as it is in remodeling a kitchen, doing landscaping, etc. The bottom line is that everyone has their own way of obtaining the desired result of any given task; the "right" way of doing it is the way that works for *YOU, AND YOUR CUSTOMER!*
i'm a barber myself and 9 out of 10 times i am drunk watching these clips but i immediatly get an itch to do some fades. the sound gives me a vibe no one can explain
Look at you, Rob,! You are starting to bring back the young version of you, plus the experience that you achieved on these 30 years. A beautiful metarmorphosis that will ends up in a nude beach cutting hair photoshoot. Oh, nice job btw, I have some trouble with textures, this video will help me a lot, thank you. Hugs from Brazil
Yess.. Dit is precies de manier zoals ik ook altijd begin. Nooit door iemand geleerd.. Ook nooit op een video gezien maar vond het de meest makkelijke en veilige manier...😁..
Outstanding work brother. So what is an old grandma doing watching your videos. I love a great haircut on a person and seeing how it is done. Many blessings to you and yours. ~ Sis Lynn
Bravo once again I've never used the technique where you Chris Kross the scissors through the hair like that I can't wait to do it. Much love from dallas texas.
I sooo much hope I can sign up for a course at your academy ! Im starting my first one in 18 days and cannot wait to get in this world ! the videos are top notch ! Greetings from Poland !
You re the BEST... LUUUUUVE UR VIDEOS.. LUUVE HOW YOU LOVE HAIR!! AND YOU ARE MAKING THE GUYS SHINE!!! - technique is impeccable / en je bent een tovenaar met schaar en clipper. Ik wil heel graag bij jou komen om jouw visie en technique op mijn haar te zien. Je bent een style en knipwonder!! Love - cheers en greetz vanuit Amsterdam.
First of all congratulations for the work developed in your barber shop, I have been following your work for some time always serving as inspiration for those who like the classic style, although it started recently I have you as my main reference. Please ask me a question which tan scissors do you use? because I'm buying a shorter mizutani and I would like to know the size of yours. I am in Brazil quality scissors are difficult and expensive here and a lot of counterfeit material.
I would like to see a very short Ivy / princeton that is actually closer to a tight crewcut with a bump. Is that posible? Or a short Princeton hybrid, where the front is flat making it close to a crewcut with tight faded sides. You seem like the best barbers to do a cut like this...Thanks
