TUTORIAL Skin-Faded Ivy League
Вставка
- Опубліковано 8 лют 2025
- The Ivy League is one of those classics that has been and will be around forever, slightly preppy and very easy to manage because it follows the natural fall dictated by the crown area, perfect for straight hair, with or without texture... Can be worn with tapered or faded sides, with or without product... My old friend, pretty boy Dennis Pals (who you might recognize from the Reuzel TV videos) wants to grow his hair without too much fuss or hassle and this is the perfect solution.
Using my shiny new Babyliss 4 Barbers tools for the best results possible, hope you like the video, stay tuned and SUBSCRIBE because a few days ago we (Porky and Dorky) recorded a new one for next week...

I’ve been a Hairdresser/Barber for nearly 30 years and I’m still learning, great cut Rob ✂️
I think we never stop learning. 15yrs here and I love learning with Rob as he does that amazing scissor work
No wonder everyone on Reddit seems to rave about this channel it’s amazingly informative.
I also like the pink comb quite the choice to see hair better.
shaz Just the general r/barber and maybe another but I forgot the name.
That's probably because he's a much better hairstylist than a barber. His fades is subpar. Just look at how uneven and unsmooth the fade is in this video. The fade would also have looked better if not so much was taken in where it meets the top of the scalp. If I got that fade myself, I would be upset.
Watching this reaffirmed some of the techniques I've been implementing for years. One of the main ones being to go cut and then go back through working with how the client's hair lays and grows. When I was first taught they always said to cut everything in uniform but that doesn't work with most hair/head shapes and hair textures. I would recommend this channel over any others to really get some understanding of how to customize your services for each individual client. 🖤🖤🖤
Slow day in my shop so im watching this video. Been in the bussiness for 45 years, i own two barbershops with 4 barbers in each. We all watch these videos and speaking for myself you are teaching a old dog new tricks! Thank you!
As a person who has never left a barbershop completely happy with his haircut, it s inspring and satisfying to watch such a really talented and attentive artist.
Well, maybe you are the problem
@@georgevieriu6826 No, people like you are the problem that say about another person that he is the problem!
I’ve been a barber for 20+ years and own my own shop. What you said about there being no wrong way to do it is absolutely true!!! Whatever works for you to make your customers happy can’t be wrong!! Great video as always!!! Barber love from Jeff’s Barber Shop in Michigan!!!☘️💈☘️💈☘️💈☘️💈☘️💈☘️💈☘️💈☘️
So true!!
Love you been doing hair for 22 years in the barbershop you're exactly right about your own way of doing things you just figured it out don't you I love watching your videos
I have my own Barbershop now and this man was my inspiration, every time I saw him cutting hair or one of the scumbags!. I felt ,"this is what I want you do for life"!. All a SCHOREM videos are awesome!! I've learned so much I hope they keep on doing more informative videos!
MUCH RESPECT on that scissor work!! I'm not going to lie...At first, when I saw some of the scissor techniques I was thinking WTF?! But having seen your other videos, I had to tell myself: "He knows what he's doing!" Sure enough, the end result was phenomenal.
Excellent work, sir!
Thanks a million Stanley! 💪🤠
Had my texas barber license for 8 years now but still learning everyday picking up alot of texture techniques from you thank you sir
Thank you so much, that's what we're here for. Stay tuned for more and stay greasy! 💪🤠
Bertus,I am so thankfull for these Classes/tutorials!! I'm starting at the barberstation academy in September,.Already bought my clippers, trimmer and Shavette.
I'm also giving my brother in law an italian shave with my Shavette (without any cuts and he's still alive :) My idea ("IDE" :P) was to already start with this part of the lessons so i have more time to focus on the haircuts. These tutorials are great for me to have understanding where to start and what to do when cutting hair!!
Also going to visit your shop soon !
Thnx again,
Bram
Out of all the videos of yours I have watched, this cut is definitely my favorite style. It also happens to be the only one that I think would look good on my head.
Look at you, Rob,! You are starting to bring back the young version of you, plus the experience that you achieved on these 30 years. A beautiful metarmorphosis that will ends up in a nude beach cutting hair photoshoot. Oh, nice job btw, I have some trouble with textures, this video will help me a lot, thank you. Hugs from Brazil
Love how you added the illusion of movement at the end with the groove cuts🎉. Wonderful 🇹🇹🤸
Thank you for taking the time to do this tutorial vid Rob! Really appreciate all the knowledge!! Looking forward to watching some more!!🔥🔥🔥💪🏻
Me gustan sus técnicas y también las aplico en mi barbería.

Este señor es el mejor barbero del mundo. Gracias por compartir su trabajo.
You've been an inspiration to me for years thank you for the videos 🙏🏽
The "right" way to do it, is the way that *you* know how to do it, so that it comes out with the end result that makes your client happy.
This is true just as much in cutting hair, as it is in remodeling a kitchen, doing landscaping, etc.
The bottom line is that everyone has their own way of obtaining the desired result of any given task; the "right" way of doing it is the way that works for *YOU, AND YOUR CUSTOMER!*
Spot on Stanley! 🐷🖤💈
i'm a barber myself and 9 out of 10 times i am drunk watching these clips but i immediatly get an itch to do some fades. the sound gives me a vibe no one can explain

So thankful for your words 💙🇧🇷
Thank you. Hello from Brazil. 💈🇧🇷
First of all congratulations for the work developed in your barber shop, I have been following your work for some time always serving as inspiration for those who like the classic style, although it started recently I have you as my main reference. Please ask me a question which tan scissors do you use? because I'm buying a shorter mizutani and I would like to know the size of yours. I am in Brazil quality scissors are difficult and expensive here and a lot of counterfeit material.
Great job bloody butcher . Hello from Malaysia 💈
another amazing video, I'm always watch your video man.
Gorgeous young man! He could wear anything well!
Nice Ceasar cut 😍
That shits good man, I salute u
Leuk om de passie voor het vak zo terug te zien
Excelente trabajo, good job
Awesome Haircut! Flawless work!
I would like to see a very short Ivy / princeton that is actually closer to a tight crewcut with a bump. Is that posible? Or a short Princeton hybrid, where the front is flat making it close to a crewcut with tight faded sides. You seem like the best barbers to do a cut like this...Thanks
I'm from Brasil I like your haircuts
This guy is the truth!
Great job!
This is perfect!!!
That's a damn fine cut, Bertus! 🤘
