  • The other day we got a compliment from somebody about our instructional videos on our UA-cam channel lately. He said: I can't cut hair myself at all but I really enjoy watching those videos. Cool, right?
    Mr. Sokratis Presvyris was over from his beautiful home-country Greece visiting The Netherlands and send me a D.M. asking me to chop off his manes into my signature Tapered Pompadour. I’ve been wanting to make a new transformation video so I was super excited, called in The Priest and here is this brand new detailed step-by-step video on channel.
    Tune in and support us by subscribing to our UA-cam channel. There are more videos that you can explored by you and your barberian brotherhood.

    That smile and little chuckle from a client when he sees the end result of his haircut is what feeds my soul. This is the best business in the world. Thank you, Rob, for teaching me the skills to elicit this response in my own clients.

    Self taught barber here. Just attempted this on a mannequin but only using shears. It was so difficult and took me forever, but man was it fun. You definitely make this look so much easier than it actually is! Lol loving this videos, don’t stop making them!

    I really enjoy these longer detailed videos without music I really feel like I’m in school learning. I did not like the really short videos where I have to guess the work
    I’m really learning a lot and practice it everyday and it’s working especially the shear work and I’m blow drying the hair now cause what you see is what you get. Thanks from SAN DIEGO CALI!

      Hey Milton! Do you know how to cut a pompadour? I'm willing to make the drive down, no one in Los Angeles knows how too, the end results just ends up being a slick back haircut 😒

    • @Roycutsnfishes
      @Roycutsnfishes 5 років тому +1

      Danny Godinez no man unfortunately Ive never done one yet.. at the shop I’m in no one asks for one which sucks but they prob are just styling you up wrong. This video shows how they do it with the blow drying and styling, but you are in L.A man they are tons of old school barbershops go on I.G try searching with hashtags -pompadour- haircut-LA, your city’s name etc. I’m sure you’ll find one. I appreciate the offer tho 👍🏼 what city do you live in? I’ll leave it as homework and I’ll help you find one that’s closer for your convenience.

    Wow, this is a truly fascinating video. I’ve had thousands of haircuts in my life but, never really took the time to actually think about the work that goes into providing the customer with an appropriate style. I’ve been rocking a variation of the classic 50’s style comb over for a few years. Not easy to pull off since I have curly hair and a lot of cow licks. I need a solid cut and pomade to really make it work.
    I travel a lot for work and have had my haircut in Athens, Frankfurt, Rome, Taichung, Seoul, Boston and New York. Looks like I will have to start checking out tickets to the Netherlands so I can book an appointment at Schorem. Liked the video and subscribed. Can’t wait to what other content you have. Cheers!

    Haircut was incredible!!! One thing I’d love to see (even though the haircut isn’t really “Schorem Style”) is a Mod. I’d love to see how your approach a longer on the sides & shorter on top look. Especially since that haircut turns your technique completely upside down. Even if you don’t do one, please keep up these great videos! They’re incredible & the work that goes into them is appreciated worldwide

    There aren't absolutely any guidelines to what you are doing. It's simply intuitive and decisions emerge from an on-the-spot point of view. Cutting hair ain't math and is way to fluid for a an established grammar. Beautiful to watch, thanks to your craft and to your model's hair, too.

      The Butcher is in Phoenix June 25-26 on tour. They still might need a model. Shoot an email to nicholas@reuzel.com. If that doesn’t work look up @derrick.for.real, @vinnietodds or @elliot_flint on IG. They are our Scumbassadors in TX and AZ! 👊😎

    Damn Fantastic! Great video! I am not a Barber, but a Cosmetologist, and I always pick up some great tips. Thank you!
