Can you really carbonate fruit? Absolutely. We figured out a simple way to carbonate everything from cucumbers to watermelon. And all it took was some dry ice, patience, and a LOT of fruit, but ultimately, it actually worked. I've heard the term 'fizzy fruit' before, but we took it to a whole new level.

I remember when a friend of mine’s mom would make fizzy grapes for every party in third grade. She would just put dry ice and grapes in a styrofoam box and leave them overnight. They would be fizzy when you bite into them, tastes like grape soda and it’s super cool! Definitely recommend trying it out!

The reason why he said that is because since dry ice is Carbon dioxide in it’s purest form you could die from breathing it in because your really aren’t supposed to breathe carbon dioxide so basically your get carbon dioxide posing I’m pretty sure.

Errr CO2 is used to kill livestock so you will do more than faint, you will die if there's no-one around to drag you into fresh air. Co2 is heavier than air so it will pool on the floor and kill your cat.

1:18 The reason why the dry ice creates more vapor when you add the warm water, because the dry ice is so cold the room temperature is so hot for it, that it is it's boiling point. So adding more heat/energy causes it to realise "steam". The smoke coming out of ice is it's "steam".

For anyone wondering, he had to keep his windows down because the dry ice releases Carbon Dioxide. Too much inhalation can lead to Carbon Dioxide Poisoning which in turn can lead to death. Its not a painful death though, I think you just fall asleep and never wake up.
