TRYING TO DRIFT THE LOTUS EMIRA!

- Matt Jones and myself along with Xpel teamed up to rent Llandow race track for the day to blast around in our cars, and learn the limits! With my Lotus Emira , Matts Mclaren 600LT and an empty track for the day it was the perfect opportunity to see if we can learn to drift! With a few thrills and spills and even a trip across the grass for Matt, it was a fantastic learning curve! We then decided to put the keys away and get back to what we know with some downhill riding at Bike Park Wales the next day. Enjoy!

I feel like if you guys wanna drift cars. Maybe do it with a cheaper one? LOL some LS swapped something or another.
You and matt need race lessons. You will get way more out of it and when u crash it hard. Garunteed a million views. 🪖🤙
Yeah I'm definitely here for the MTB. But it would be fun to watch Sam and Matt both get some lessons. Setup some challenges that you do before and after to gauge the improvement.
Watching Matt’s video then coming to watch yours is incredibly better. What settings do you use on your go pro? The insta360 looks really bad compared to this

The mclaren has a nicer inside imo but the lotus... nothing beats that body style.
Agreed! Lotus amazingly doesn’t rattle quite as much either contrary to popular belief 😂

Cheers! It’s definitely better in so many ways but I still do have a soft spot for the Focus RS! Ford was much easier to drift for a start and could fit the bikes in! And was 1/3 of the price!
@@SamReynolds26 I love my RS best bang for buck of any car, I found plus you can get the mountain bike in the back. Not found anything like it for the money, still doesn't stop me from looking though!
LOL! Nice drift cars, said nobody ever about mid engine sport cars and street tires made for grip. Yeah they are drift-able, but the wrong tool for the job; like using an xc bike for dirt jumps. I bet you guys would have just as much fun and more success drifting in far less expensive drift specific cars. Would be cool to see these cars on a hpde day, where you can do some grudge racing and use the cars for what they're really made to do on a track. This video is pretty funny none the less, kids thrashing their toys.
When you say amateur cars to professional bikes. Damn wish my amateur car resembled ones of those haha.
