F.o.b- there needs to be 1 that you can’t overtake so everyone has at least 1 and then can take over additional. Only way to really allow people to have at least a place
from what i understand about the capture points is that they will be an addition to the main FOB (placed around the map) for each faction and that they may unlock special traders, if I understood correctly i think there will always be the main FOB to spawn at

i think the camp capturing feature should be for fobs only. add more locations outside of the faction base that can be fought over to give the dominating faction the spawn point, and maybe some other nice features that make assaulting those bases more appealing
@TimmyTactical have them be unique black market traders, so you can only get gear of other factions by holding a fob away from the main faction base Edit: by fob i mean a new "base" location that isnt any of the current fobs. As it stands, i feel like their idea of being able to capture another factions main base is flawed to a degree that i dont see being easily done without a lot of restructuring how faction bases exist
It’s not “camping”. The military term and tactic is known as area denial or resource denial. It’s a legit combat tactic. If the opposition thinks something is important and they want to do what it takes to get it…. You don’t let them. If they don’t like being denied then they’ll have to do something about it. It’s adapt and overcome not cry and complain. I’m glad the devs are taking the approach to fit the “adapt and overcome“ way of the warrior. The devs could have gone the other way and implemented some “can’t be shot” aspect. Good on them for what I see is the ideal way. The mosquito noise stuff is nonsense. We had Deet so strong it would make your lips go numb when you put it on. Mosquitos never bothered me when I had Deet applied. Maybe Deet can be an in game item. Use it to get rid of the mosquito noises.
Their cash cow will be the console gamers. I'm not quite sure I would buy the too tier but the lowest tier would be woth me dipping my toe in when and if it come to console
This is like the 3rd or 4th video I've seen that talks about the mosquitos being louder when you camp like it's a done deal. Unless I missed it somewhere else, what I heard in the q&a was it was a cool idea that one of the devs had thrown out there. He never said it was being implemented.
We used Deet when I was in the military. It was so strong your lips would go numb. Mosquitos weren’t so much of an issue. Maybe Deet could be an in game item to take care of the bugs. That could be cool.
I'm not a fan of the camp capturing idea as is, this should come with some caveats as I thought the game was supposed to be MOSTLY PVE focused. Enable camp capturing towards the end of a wipe, to give everyone something to work towards collectively. For example; - Being able to deploy AI to assist with defense using resources collected during the course of the wipe. - AI need to be equipped with guns and gear donated by players. Community based supplies? - Allow this to unlock once a certain reputation level is reached with AI factions. - Add a global cooldown for capture attempts, a 24-48 hour period to allow camps the chance to breathe and resupply. - 2 failed attempts to capture and you'er unable to try to capture the camp again

they should let you have minigun on the choppers so all them rats run for the life when you fly in rofl.... also giving away all the money to kids =? when they could spend that money on the game i dont buy it sorry sounds like they just saying it to flex

Yea it sounds good but what about traders and stuff if you lose your FOB haha

Shootng fgrom choppers doesnt solve the issue imo, Why not a spawn protection timer? Or disabling damage to incoming helis
I think that combines with the chopper landing in different areas should stop it though
