How to make a cute fabric flag banner pennant out of scraps/stash

  • In this video I will show you how I made my super cute fabric flag banner for camping, or to hang in my yard or porch. It's a fun and festive decoration to bring a pop of color. It's really easy and quick to make. I hope that you will make one too!

    You are adorable. BTW, you have a knack for pulling fabrics together. I love the bias tape idea. Question: why are these called "prayer flags"?

      Hi Ralaine, thank you so much! Omg, I struggled with mixing prints, so I appreciate your compliment. I think that they are like Tibetan Prayer Flags...but only because they are square. I saw the real thing while camping and it inspired me. I just love to hang them up, they are so festive. Hope you’re having a great day! Stephanie

      Stephanie Farrell Focus how big did you cut the squares and what seam allowance did you use?

      I cut them 5 x 8 inches. Regular 5/8 stitch line, then I trimmed them with linking shears. I would love to see yours!
